“Itai!” Gai yelled, as the back of his head hit the solid wood of the wall.
“Sorry, Gai-san,” Yamato muttered back, too distracted with what he was doing to sound sincere.
There weren't many with the strength to lift a man of Gai's size off the floor, but, then again, Yamato was a shinobi as well. Somewhere from the bed to the wall he'd lost his green beast jumpsuit and all his clothes in general...and right now the wood-nin was doing something to the side of his neck with his teeth that sent a shiver up his bare back. It almost distracted him from the wandering fingers of Yamato's right hand, fingers that were steadily traveling lower along Gai's spine.
Kakashi had never pinned him to a wall before, Gai had never let him. A couple of times, Kakashi had tried to take the lead, pinning the tai-jutsu master beneath him. Gai'd use his greater strength to reverse their positions, and give his rival a sparkling smile in challenge. Could that have been the reason my Eternal Rival sought another's company? Something as simple as me not letting him top?
Yamato's body was hot and close, panting against his neck, holding their bodies together at the groin with a strong hand to Gai's hip. The other pale hand was exploring the cleft between the jounin's firm buttocks. The light brushes and gentle strokes, in such contrast to all the other touches he was receiving, sent shivers throughout his tense body. Gai had never let Kakashi touch him like this, in that place. Why? Why Yamato, who he only knew by name, and not Kakashi, the man he loved? Taking the younger man's face in his large, tanned hand, Gai looked into his eyes. The wood-nin's eyes were dilated and lidded with lust, but the brown, almond-shaped orbs held no secrets and no lies. Yamato wore his hurt and his obvious anger towards Iruka on his sleeve—Kakashi concealed everything behind a mask (both literally and metaphorically).
'Where were you my Eternal Rival?!'
'My students needed me to judge an arm wrestling match, then the game was suddenly interupted by--'
'Why can't you just say that you were visiting the Memorial Stone?'
'...'
'Kakashi, you can trust me wi--'
'I'm going for a walk, catch ya later, Gai.'
Gai captured Yamato's lips in a crushing kiss, as he felt more tears brim over his closed lids. Kakashi had never trusted him enough to confide his inner most feelings, keeping his personal pain too close to share. But here was Yamato, a man he didn't even know, freely pouring his heart out to him. Wrapping his arms around the younger man's back, sweaty with exertion, Gai locked his long legs into place around Yamato's waist, feeling the supporting hand leave his hip. Yamato smacked his left hand to the wall beside the tai-jutsu master, impatience in the action. With his touch, he commanded the wooden wall to grow a tentacle like extension. The wooden tentacle molded around the handle on the bedside drawer, opening it, then diving in. Grabbing what was needed, it presented the item to the ANBU-nin, before disappearing into the wood of the wall once more as if it had never been.
“That was truly amazing, Yamato.”
“Thank you, Gai-san.”
The jounin again captured the other's lips in a kiss, this time gentle and lingering. “Gai,” he said, hoping the brown-haired young man would get the hint and drop the by now useless honorific.
“Gai,” he agreed, returning the kiss.
Somewhere amidst the haze of the kiss, Gai felt the slickened fingers of Yamato's left hand circling his entrance, encouraging the tense muscles to relax. Taking a deep breath and closing his eyes, he let Yamato prepare him. Something that he had never trusted Kakashi enough to do.

A/N: Pardon me for how long it's taken me to update (I've been working on another story, a Zabu/Haku one called "Never Before Noticed..."). A short chapter, but, then again, all the chapters in this fanfic have been rather brief. There should be just one more chapter...no more than two for sure.
