Reunion



“Fancy seeing you here…..little brother.”

Sasuke smiled and jumped off the tree.

“Well, I knew I wouldn’t be able to hide for that long, but I found out enough,” he glanced at Sakura, who turned away, and walked over to Itachi.

“Sakura……where are you going? You’re in enough trouble already,” Sasuke said, she looked at him and he could see the hatred in her eyes.

“Who are you to tell me that I’m in trouble? You rogue ninja, and by the way I’m part of the Akatsuki now,” Sakura said, she ignored Sasuke’s startled face and slowly got closer to Itachi.

“I’m here to take you back with me, I decided to go back to Konoha with a few of my new comrades.” Sasuke said, Sakura laughed.

“Ha! You got to be kidding, why would I go back with you when I’m happy here? Do you know why I left Konoha? It’s because everything in Konoha reminded me of you! I just couldn’t take it anymore! I want you out of my life!” she yelled, Sasuke looked as shocked as ever, Itachi smirked.

“See? You’re not wanted, its best if you just leave,” Itachi said, Sasuke looked at him and charged at him, his sword bare.

“Bastard! This is all your fault! What did you do to her?” Sasuke yelled, Itachi simply smiled but was also shocked when Sakura stood in front of Itachi, her arms open to welcome the attack, Sasuke stopped abruptly.

“S-Sakura? Move!” Sasuke said,

“Never! I won’t let you hurt him!” Sakura answered, Itachi put a hand on her shoulder,

“It’s fine, Don’t worry,” he said, he smiled and kissed Sakura passionately, she replied back, and from the corner of her eye, she saw Sasuke’s face, the look on his face was priceless! She broke the kiss and looked at Itachi,

“Are you sure?” Sakura asked,

“Positive, do not worry,” Itachi said, he smiled and stepped in front of Sakura.

“Well? Continue with the attack,” Itachi said, Sasuke could not, his body wouldn’t move, did Sakura just kiss my brother? He shook is head and looked at Itachi.

“Hn………I’ll be back soon, have fun Sakura……while you can,” Sasuke said and he disappeared.

It was silent until Tobi continued taunting Itachi.

“Ewwwwww! Itachi-san kissed Sakura-san…in public! Hahaha!

Itachi looked at him, and in 2 minutes, Tobi was running for his life. Sakura was left, deep in thought.





After Sakura healed all of Tobi’s injuries, without a word she went to her room and shut herself in, Itachi watched her leave, he was concerned at why she was acting so strange, he waited for the others to fall asleep and he quietly went and entered Sakura’s room.



The only light in the room was a few candles lit in every corner, he could see her shadow sitting on the bed on the other side of the room.

“Sakura?” he whispered, she looked over her shoulder, and he could see the confusion in her eyes, he walked towards her and placed a hand on her shoulder,

“What’s wrong?” he asked,

“Am I doing the right thing?” Itachi was taken aback when she said this,

“What do you mean?”

“When we faced Sasuke he reminded me of all my friends in Konoha, Kakashi- sensei, Tsunade-sama, Sai, Ino…………………and most of all…..Naruto.” she said quietly, Itachi’s grasp on her shoulder became tighter.

“Listen……if you miss them, then there is nothing holding you back……” Sakura turned to face him fully.

“What? You can’t do that you’re a official member of the Akatsuki_”

“Do you think I joined Akatsuki to follow their sick ways?” he said, with a smirk on his face, “I joined to find information about the Akatsuki and their leader,” Sakura looked shocked,

“What? But you destroyed your entire clan_”

“I destroyed them because Konoha ordered me to, which is why I despise them, yet I still remain on their side, as much as I hate Konoha…..I hate Akatsuki more,” he ignored Sakura’s startled face and continued,

“The only reason I didn’t kill Sasuke was because…..I couldn’t…..my little brother, who looked up to me like a role model, I couldn’t kill him…….so I decided I’ll drive him to hate me so he could become stronger and so I can die by his hand,”

“What?! No, you can’t! It’s not fair! Y-You can’t die!” Sakura said, close to tears, Itachi gave a small smile,

“Don’t worry, this is my debt I have to pay for killing all those innocent people,”

“But that wasn’t your fault, Konoha forced you to do that, if it wasn’t for them, you and Sasuke would still be brothers and you would have your family!” she exclaimed, she broke into tears and immediately Itachi wrapped his arms around her waist to comfort her.

“It’s alright, Sakura,” Itachi said.

“I hate Konoha……they don’t have the right to do what they did….” she whispered in Itachi’s arms,

“Its ok… you don’t have to go back if you don’t want to…” he said he pulled her back so she could see his face and he gave her a seductive smile which turned her on instantly.

Itachi chuckled as she grimaced.

“You know, you put on a good show in front of Sasuke…” he murmured, nuzzling Sakura’s neck, she twisted his hair around her fingers.

I hate…Sasuke…” she said, Itachi froze, Sakura was confused, he looked at her, his eyes boring into hers.

“Why do you hate my brother so much, Sakura?” Itachi whispered, Sakura was shocked.

“Well…it’s because he left us and never even once thought how we felt, I couldn’t forget him in Konoha, it held too many memories, so that’s why I left and then I met you….and Deidara and Kisame and Tobi and I’m happy here with you….” Itachi froze at her answer.

“I see…” he said quietly, he dropped his hands from her waist and walked out the room without another sound leaving Sakura confused.





The next morning Sakura came out of her room and saw Kisame, Deidara and Tobi sitting in the living room relaxing.

“Hey…um… Have any of you guys seen Itachi?” Sakura asked,

“He’s gone out….said he doesn’t want to be disturbed,” Kisame answered. Sakura nodded and head back to her room.



The next day Itachi still wasn’t there, Sakura started to get worried and she thought about what she had said to make Itachi react like this. Suddenly she felt a chakra appear right outside the house with another three unfamiliar chakras with him.



“Sasuke…” she whispered, as she ran outside, she found Deidara, Kisame and Tobi already outside, but still Itachi was nowhere to be seen.

She looked in front of her to see Sasuke with what looked like his new comrades.



Sakura could not help but laugh as she scanned Sasuke’s comrades.

“Sasuke looked at her startled as her laugh broke the silence.

“I seem to miss what’s so funny,” he said. Sakura looked at him grinning.

“Oh it nothing, its just really funny that you gave up your life in Konoha so you could stroll around with these idiots around you, especially that red- haired chakra sensing dog.” Sakura laughed, Kisame and the others grinned.



“Oh? You think we are idiots? Well look who’s talking you pink haired freak! You’re just jealous that you were rejected by Sasuke-kun!” Karin said, Sakura’s hand clenched, being called a pink haired freak she could deal with, but the other statement she could not take, in a flash she was right in front of Karin with her hand around Karin’s neck.



“I have nothing to do with that arrogant piece of shit.” She whispered as she threw Karin into the wall. Karin coughed up some blood and looked ahead of her.

“You bitch…..” she said,

“You know you’re lucky I didn’t throw you back with all of my strength otherwise you wouldn’t even be talking, your bones would have shattered into a million pieces.

Sasuke’s eyes widened, that wasn’t her full strength? How much more strength did she have? And how did she get to Karin without me even seeing her? He smirked,

“You’ve grown since the time I left Konoha, you’ve grown much stronger,”



“Shut up Sasuke,” she replied. She went back to the Akatsuki’s side and stared at Sasuke’s side.

“Hn, you may say you hate me, but I don’t care, we will take you with us anyway,” Sasuke answered.

“I’d rather die,” Sakura spat,

“How bout we spar for it? You win, we’ll leave, I win, you come with me and stay with me forever.” He said.



“Fine, bring it on,” Sakura said.







And so the battle began.
