Chapter 5
** Hey all...two chapters in a row!!
I was on a roll here...I hope you enjoy!!!

Saturday was upon them before they knew it. Sasuke drove Naruto to the concert hall and when around back with him. There he met Sakura. So while the band was tuning up Sakura and Sasuke sat in the green room talking.
Sakura couldn’t stop the smile on her lips. She was so proud of Naruto’s band.
Sasuke could see the pink haired woman eyes sparkle with happiness.
She looked over at the raven, “so Sasuke are you sticking around?” her question was blunt.
He knew he would like her, “yea, I am, if he wants me too.”
Rolling her eyes, “I swear, you both are made for each other. You’re both bakas!”
Raising a dark eyebrow, “huh?”
Turning to face Sasuke, “I asked Naruto was he happy. He said extremely and that if you would have him, he would love to be with you.”
Smiling, “why hasn’t he told me this himself?” he asked.
“He is, later tonight. Don’t tell him I told you…” pleading green eyes stared at Sasuke.
Laughing, “I won’t, you’ve got my word on it.”
Nodding, Sakura mused out loud. “I was such good luck that they bagged this gig,” she said.
“Well, I might have had a hand in that.”
“What are you talking about Sasuke?”
“Well, our company owns a fair amount of stadiums across the country.”
Frowning, “you didn’t pay someone to have Naruto’s band play, did you?” That would hurt the blonde.
Shaking his head, “I’m friends with the promoter for the feature band. I asked him to listen to Nine Tails. I wasn’t asking for any special favors. They were actually looking for a opening band. He listened and he loved them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were signed to do full concert themselves.”
Sakura was about to jump Sasuke and hug the life out of him if it wasn’t for a blonde blur that beat her to it.
“Sasuke you are the best!” Naruto told the raven while hugging him within an inch of his life. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" The blonde chanted
“Dobe……must…..breathe….” Sasuke choked out.
“Sorry,” Naruto let him go. They didn’t see Sakura leave closing the door behind her.
“I meant to tell you but…”
“Don’t, thank you Sasuke for giving us this chance.” He leaned in and placed a soft kiss onto Sasuke’s lips.
Sasuke didn’t want the kiss to end so he pulled the blonde closer deepening the kiss.
Naruto moaned into the kiss as his mouth was devoured.
Sasuke’s hand was making its way up Naruto’s shirt when a knock interrupted them.
“Hey Naru, it’s time for sound check! Get your ass in gear!”
“I swear one day I’m going to get Kiba a muzzle.”
“Hey I heard that!” Kiba retorted.
“I’ll be there in a sec.” They heard the man retreat down the hall.
Naruto looked into Sasuke’s dark eyes, “thank you again.”
“No thanks needed.”
A serious look fell on the blonde face as he looked into Saske’s eyes. “Sasuke, I’ve never felt like this with anyone before, including Itachi.”
“What’s wrong?”
“I…I love you.” His voice was soft as he said those 3 words that seemed to bind him to the raven on a deeper level.
Sasuke’s heart jumped as he heard those words. Cupping Naruto’s face he leaned in and kissed both eyes and then his lips, “I’ve loved you the first time I saw you at that charity…a year ago.”
Naruto’s eyes widened in surprise, “Wha…”
Banging on the door… “If you don’t get your ass out here I’m sicing Arkumaru on you!”
“You better go.” He kissed him again.
“Yea, I’ll see you after the show.”
He turned and left the room feeling light headed from what he was feeling. ‘This was real,’ he told himself as he made his way toward the stage.
Naruto was on stage doing a sound check. He was going through the motions but inside he was nervous. This was Nine Tails first concert in a venue larger than a club. They were the opening act for the feature band. This could make them known…
Neji looked over at their lead singer and could see his blue eyes staring out into the empty building. Smiling he walked over to him and nudged him a little.
“Hey, fearless leader, don’t tell me you’re getting butterflies,” he laughed when he saw the surprised look on Naruto’s face.
“You damn right I’m nervous. Who wouldn’t Neji. This is such a big opportunity for us.”
“That’s true, but we are gonna kill it!” Kiba shouted as he practiced on his drums.
Smiling, “Yea, let’s show them what Nine Tails is all about!” Naruto told his friends.
~~~Start of the Concert~~~~
Sakura and Sasuke sat up in the box seats, watching as Nine Tails walk out on the stage, on the big screen TV.
The place was packed! Sakura could see the huge smile on Naruto face as he looked out across all the faces.
“HELLO EVERYBODY!!!”
The crowd when wild! There was a lot of Nine Tail fans mixed in the crowd.
“I SEE SOME FAMILIAR FACES OUT THERE!!! YOU KNOW HOW WE LIKE TO START OFF…..HARD!!!!
That’s when Neji and Kiba came in with the guitar and drums….Naruto started to sing…

The crowd when wild!!! Naruto was breathing hard as he smiled. He turned towards his band and laughed as he saw the same excitement in their eyes as it was in his. He turned back toward the crowd.
“DID YOU LIKE THAT!!!”
“YEA!!!!!!!” The crowd roared…. “MORE!!! MORE!!! MORE!!!” The crowd chanted.
Naruto turned to his friends, “ok fellas you heard’em!”

The crowd was so pumped as Nine Tails left the stage…..!

Sasuke was speechless…he hadn’t realized that the crowd would take to the band so…so…wildly!
He turned to see Sakura smiling at him. They both stood and made their way out the door.

Sakura spotted Neji walking toward them, heading to the green room so she walked over to him and pulled him into a hug. “You guys were great! I loved those new songs Neji, did you write them?”
“Nope our beloved leader did. He hadn’t written in over a year, but these past few months he’s been a writing machine.” He told her as they walked in to the room where Kiba was already there in his street clothes.
“Hey Neji, have you met Sasuke?” Sakura asked as she sat down.
Smirking, Neji nodded, “yea we met.”
Sasuke looked around, “where’s Naruto?”
Kiba looked up from the little white puppy that was on the floor, “he had to go back to the stage, he said he had forgotten something.
~~Twenty Minutes Later~~
Sasuke was worried. ‘Where the hell was he? Maybe he got stopped by some fans on the way back,’ he thought. But hell he didn’t believe that himself.
Sakura could see the worry in Sasuke’s dark eyes. “No worries Sasuke, he’ll be here,” once that was said the door opened and in walked one of the roadies.
“Is there a Sasuke Uchiha here?” He asked.
“Here,” the raven told him.
The man walked over to him and handed him an envelop.
Sasuke looked at him with a questioning glare. “Who gave this to you?”
“Some weird guy with read hair and a even weirder little puppet sitting on his shoulder.” Shrugging the man left.
The raven opened the note. As he read disbelief, anger, guilt for not protecting someone he loved. He couldn’t move as he read the last words.
Sakura went over to him and pulled the note from his hand. She read the note:
Sasuke,
I told you I always get what is mine. You will never see him again.
Itachi.
Before Sakura could drop to the floor, Neji was beside her. He held on to her and pulled the note from her hands.
He read the note aloud so Kiba could hear. Kiba growled
Sakura stood up and looked toward Saskue, “Sasuke,” her voice was soft.
“I’m going to kill him, if he lays one finger on him,” his voice was hard and cold as he headed toward the door.
“Wait! You don’t know where he took him.” Sakura called after him.
“I will find that bastard. And when I do he is dead.”
