Ok so it has finally arrived...the next chapter to the story...XD I am very sorry to everyone that has been patiently waiting for me to update my chapters but unfortunately I had to move 2 provinces from where I was, and to top it off I had lost my internet access at the place I was living...x(
I would like to say thank you to everyone who has reviewed on this story so far, your support is greatly appreciate, and believe me when I say that reviews make me want to write faster, so the more reviews I get the more chapters you guys get...XD

Chapter 5
As Naruto began to slowly wake up, he realized that he was warm, and comfortable. The only problem was that his pillow had a heart beat to it. It took his sleep muddled mind a few seconds to process exactly why his pillow would have a heartbeat, as far as he knew it wasn’t supposed to. When he finally realized the reason behind the strange heartbeat in his pillow, he nearly jumped right off the couch. In fact the only reason that he didn’t do a complete face plant off the couch was because of the arms that were still firmly wrapped around him.
“You ok Naruto?” Came a calm steady voice from behind him.
“Ya, sorry about that I had forgotten that I had been sitting with you. I guess we fell asleep.” Naruto responded weakly, his cheek turning a slight shade of red.
“It’s not a problem I also seemed to have dozed off while we were sitting on the couch.” Sasuke replied letting the blond go reluctantly.
Just then Naruto’s phone started ringing. He quickly stood to answer it.
“Hello? Iruka! I’m so sorry that I quite so suddenly. No it has nothing to do with the job, it’s just some personal matters came up, kind of short notice, and I really needed to take care of them. Yes, I’ll be sure to keep in touch. Thank you for everything Iruka.”
After he had hung up the phone Naruto returned to the couch with Sasuke, he was a little unsure of what to expect from his training to be a hunter. He still had trouble believing that he had been attacked by a werewolf the other night, not to mention all the other ghouls and ghosts that Sasuke said actually existed. The other problem was that he still had no idea why they were after him in the first place. Maybe it had something to do with the marks that he and Sasuke had received.
“You alright Naruto? You’ve been really quiet since you finished talking on the phone.” Sasuke asked, still a little worried that Naruto was not well.
“Oh, sorry about that, I was just thinking of what you had told me yesterday about my being trained to be a Hunter, that’s all.” Naruto responded.
“Well I think we should probably start on your training, at least somewhat.” With that Sasuke stood and started to get dressed.
“We are going to need to go to my hotel, and get my things, I don’t really think there is much of yours that will fit me.”
“You have a good point there. I’ll go get dressed then we can go and get your things. Is your hotel far from here?” Naruto asked as he headed towards his room.
“Not really, a couple of blocks, not to worry, the organization gave me a car to use for the mission, so it won’t be a problem.”
“Alright.”
After Naruto was dressed, they headed out of the apartment complex, and headed towards Sasuke’s car. It was a nice looking vehicle, if a little old; it was a beautiful, black 1970 Chevrolet Impala. (Sorry I really couldn’t help using Dean’s car from Supernatural...XD)
“Nice car.” Naruto commented as he opened the passenger door and got into the car.
“Thanks, the organization says that the trunk is large enough to hide a body in, and that’s why they chose it, although I haven’t had any reason to see if that is true.” Sasuke chuckled as he got in and started the car.
They drove in silence to the hotel, and quickly gathered the few things that Sasuke had with him, which included a lot of weapons that Naruto had never even seen before. He then paid his bill and checked out. They returned to Naruto’s apartment, and decided what to do about Naruto’s training, as well eat, seeing as with everything that had happened they had yet to eat.

They had been training for nearly 2 weeks, when Sasuke got a call from the organization. Naruto had picked up the basics rather quickly, and seemed to be ready for a trail run at least, so when the call came in Sasuke was confident that they should be able to handle it. Besides it was only a low level poltergeist that they were sent to investigate. He figured it should be ok, as long as he kept a close eye on his new partner.
They arrived in the town where the poltergeist was causing problems and quickly found a hotel to stay in. Once they had checked in, they started to gather information about the haunting that they were sent to take care of.
When they met up again that night, Naruto was looking forward to a restful sleep. Unfortunately Sasuke had other plans.
“So what did you hear from the people of the town?” He asked as he started checking the supplies that he would need to use to get rid of the spirit.
“I managed to find out that the house that has the problem, has been having strange things happen in it, since the 1960’s, when it was first bought by a young couple. So I went to the library and started to see if I could find anything on the house prior to when the haunting started.” Naruto explained as he watched Sasuke check his supplies.
“Ok so what did you manage to find on the house?” Sasuke asked, looking at Naruto. He had known that the blond had managed to go somewhere away from him when they were looking, but it looked like he had gotten farther than he had realized, however, the marks had not started to hurt, like the last time they had tried to separate from each other. This was something that Sasuke was going to have to look into later.
“Well it would seem that the place was built by a man by the name of Mr. Hinkle, and that he had built it for his fiancée. The problem was that she was raped and murdered just after they had moved into the finished house. Apparently the husband went crazy, and committed suicide in the house.”
“So then we may actually be dealing with 2 spirits, and not just one?”
“Well, spirits and poltergeist usually come from violent deaths, and seeing as both died in the house, and both were violent deaths, it is entirely possible.” Naruto shrugged.
“Well we are just going to have to go and check out the house tonight.” Sasuke suggested.
“Can’t it wait till morning?” Naruto whined, he wasn’t afraid of the ghost, or at least he didn’t think that he was, but he was tired from all the walking they had done that day.
“The best time to deal with poltergeists, it at night, the closer to midnight it is, the more likely they are to come out, and say hi.” Sasuke replied grabbing his jacket as he stood from his bed.
He would have preferred if they had been able to sleep in the same bed, however he knew that Naruto wouldn’t have gone for it. He was very slow at moving their relationship forward, if Sasuke could even call it that, however, he had told Naruto that they would go at his speed.
“Alright, we’ll go and check it out. Besides you’re the expert hunter, so I guess I should follow you’re lead.” Naruto sighed grabbing his own jacket and heading towards the door.
He really wanted to move things forward with Sasuke, but he still wasn’t sure about the whole thing. He was amazed that Sasuke had been patient this whole time, and waited for him to make the moves. He knew that he cared deeply for Sasuke, but he was scared more than anything. Maybe he would wait, just a little longer.

They pulled into the driveway of the abandoned house. Seeing as there had been so many things happening there, no one was willing to buy it, thus it was in total disrepair. They walked up the front steps of the house, Naruto went to open the door, but a hand on his arm stopped him. He turned to ask Sasuke why he had stopped him, and quickly found his lips covered by another pair. Naruto unconsciously sighed into the kiss, allowing Sasuke to deepen it with his tongue. He slowly started to explore the warm moist cavern of Naruto’s mouth, and was delightfully surprised to feel Naruto moves his tongue into his mouth. The two battled briefly for dominance, but in the end Sasuke ended up winning the battle.
“What was that for?” Naruto asked panting softly.
“It was for good luck. This is your first official mission after all. Now let’s go, but be careful, and stay close.”
They entered the house, and turned on their flashlights. Sasuke set his bag down, and started to get his equipment out. It was your basic ghost hunting equipment. Camera with night vision for orbs, and other electronics for seeing the invisible. As he was doing this, Naruto was wondering around the room, with the flashlight, looking at the state of the house. He turned to Sasuke to ask a question, but didn’t get a chance.
“Sasuke look out!” Naruto screamed and jumped towards Sasuke, and then everything went black.
A/N I know, I know, I’m a very evil person right now...(ducks under desk) I had to do something to keep you guys interested...(peeks up over edge of desk to watch for anything flying) pls R&R...that is if you still love me...XD
