Chapter 5
First some business…
This is to SneakyFox:
I’m so sorry I offended you with the Opeth comment… It was not my intention at all!!! My co-author picked the name and I figured people would know that it was not a reflection of my tastes. I left it in because it was in relation to the character not liking the band; not me… I’m sorry if I came across that way.
For future reference though, anything I say in my fics is not a reflection of how I feel about that particular thing.
Sorry again!

Chapter 5
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning Itachi woke up slowly. Now this was a bit unusual because he usually woke up with an alarm clock blaring in his ear. But today felt a bit different. He slowly opened his eyes, letting his eyesight get used to the bright light of early morning. Then he jumped ten feet in the air at seeing a curious face staring not two inches from his own. "What the fuck Sasuke?"
"Good morning sleepy. Get your clothes on I'm going to work with you.” Sasuke sat back from his brother and smiled coyly. He had gotten dressed an hour ago and had finally gotten too bored to wait for Itachi any longer. Tight leather pants hugged every curve of the little Uchiha’s lower body while a fishnet long sleeved shirt just barely maintained decency with the help of a sleeveless top that left nothing to the imagination. All in all it looked like Sasuke was going to a club, not school.
Itachi raised an eyebrow and looked at his brother; trying desperately to ignore the slight elevation in his pulse. "Not like that, you're not. And plus, I wouldn’t let you go to school dressed like that." He got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. "Go change."
"But!..." Sasuke half leapt out of the bed to confront his brother. The older man hardly ever critiqued his clothes so why was he starting now?
"I said go change. If anyone at my work saw you like that; they'd probably try to hire you. Or worse, just molest you right there. Now hurry up or you'll be late for school." With that, he shut the door to the bathroom and proceeded to take a much needed shower. He didn't like how his little brother's appearance was effecting him.
Sasuke started pouting silently as he stomped back into his bedroom and pulled out slightly more appropriate clothing for school. He was keeping the black fishnet shirt under his sweater but the top and the painted on pants had to go unfortunately. Sasuke pulled off his shoes and started to wrestle the tight pants form his body, cursing his brother quietly every time he had to get a new hold on the slick material.
Itachi stepped out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his narrow hips and made his way to Sasuke's room to see how his brother was doing with his clothing options. Upon arriving at said room; he got a wonderful, or not so wonderful, eyeful of a almost naked Sasuke; pulling up some very tight jeans. He couldn't help but stare for a moment but shook his head to clear his mind and continued onto his room.
Sasuke finished hiking up his skinny black jeans and looked back at his open door. He could have sworn that Itachi had just been standing there a moment ago.
A few minutes later, Itachi emerged from his room wearing a casual form fitting dark blue dress shirt and some black slacks. He did have to dress appropriate for his ‘real’ job. He eyed Sasuke's new outfit and just nodded once to show his approval. "Alright, let's go." He opened the front door and waited for his brother to grab his things and slip on his shoes.
Sasuke grabbed his school bag, making sure that all his binders and notebooks were inside, and detoured through the kitchen to grab something for breakfast before walking out the door with his brother. "Where should I go to meet you before work?"
Itachi headed down the stairs to his car and got in. "Just wait in the office. I'll call your school and tell them you have a doctor’s appointment or something." He started the engine and put the car into drive.
Once they arrived at Sasuke's school, Itachi stopped to let the boy out. "See you in a couple hours."
"I can’t wait."
Sasuke sat through the last class before lunch doodling in the margins of his notes with his chin resting firmly on his other hand while the teacher just kept droning on about world history and the beginnings of writing. It really didn’t matter what ancient civilization had started writing or how much that writing spread or was adopted by other people in that long ago time. He was getting to go with his brother to his work and he couldn’t concentrate on anything else.
Once again the raven haired boy flicked a glance at the clock over the chalkboard and groaned inwardly as the minute hand grudgingly moved another minute closer to the end of class.
Why was it that when you really wanted something, time decided to start crawling?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Itachi eased his way out of the parking lot of the office building where he worked respectfully. He really had no desire to hurry and pick up is brother; but a promise was a promise after all. He just hoped he wouldn't regret it later. He picked up his cell phone and put the little ear piece in and dialed Sasuke's school office. Time to pull a sob story out of his ass.
A phone rang in the room of the rather dingy office making the napping staff woman jump and look around for whatever had woke her up from her peaceful slumber. Brown eyes rested on the offending phone that rattled with every ring before the lady picked up the plastic device from its cradle and brought it to her ear. "Hello this is East County Middle School’s Front office how may I help you?"
"Yes, I'm the older brother of one of your students; Sasuke Uchiha. I'm just calling to let you know that I'll have to pick him up early from school for a doctor’s appointment..." he found himself rudely cut off.
"I'm sorry you’ve called the wrong office, you need to talk with someone from attendance." the lady buffed her nails on her gray pinstripe suit and flicked a little fit of dust from her skirt. She really hated this job, she really did.
Itachi sighed loudly to show his annoyance. "Well then can you please transfer me to the correct department?"
The lady didn’t say anything for a long moment and counted herself lucky that someone was in that particular office at this time. "Hold please while I transfer your call."
Itachi waited until another woman picked up and he restated his previous sentence. "I'll need to pick him up around eleven thirty." He made sure to leave work at least an hour early so it would give him enough time to call the school and grab Sasuke before taking the damn kid to eat lunch before the dreaded inevitable.
This time the person answering the phone was more sympathetic to Itachi's supposed plight and looked up when and where Sasuke was at the moment before sending a runner off with a note for the student in question to get out of chasses after lunch.
Sasuke was jolted forcefully from his blind drawing by the shrill cry of the bell and the scrape of chairs while the other students got their things together for lunch. For a panicked moment Sasuke imitated them before remembering that he wasn’t going to continue with school today like all the others. The rest of his day was going to be much more entertaining.
Itachi parked in a parking spot just outside the office as he exited his car. Already he could feel the eyes of the awestruck girls who passed by. He ignored them and made his way into the office. Once he arrived he wasn't surprised to see Sasuke already there waiting for him.
Sasuke looked around to see if he was being watched and sedately walked to his brother’s side like a good student would who's leaving on legitimate business. It' wasn’t like he was going off on an adventure of the pornographic kind. Good students didn’t do that. "So, are we ready?"
Itachi sighed and nodded. "We have about a half an hour before your appointment so we can get some lunch if you want." he said as they left the office; making sure to keep up appearances.
"Lunch sounds good; the food here reeks." Sasuke nodded at what he'd just said as though agreeing with some private comment and pulled the front passenger door open. Not that he had much of an appetite since he was internally obsessing over finally seeing what his brother did, but it was best to eat anyway and not feel like he was starving later.
Itachi nodded as he got into the driver’s seat and started the engine. "So, where do you want to eat?” He headed in the direction of the many food establishments that were around where he would be shooting that day; oddly enough in the nicer part of town.
Sasuke looked out the window and tapped his fingers on the small armrest between his chair and the driver’s seat. "Something fast and healthy. I don’t want to get to tired to appreciate what you do because I ate heavy food."
Itachi snorted and drove into a small shopping center where he parked in front of a local deli that he knew Sasuke liked. He got out and leaned back into the car. "Let’s go." He watched as Sasuke got out and followed the small boy into the family owned establishment. “Go find us a table and I’ll order. What do you want?”
"I want that one I got last time; the one with the cucumber. But don’t forget to tell them that I don’t want turkey on it.” Sasuke wrinkled his nose at the thought of having a great sandwich ruined by unnecessary amounts of meat. "Oh and that oat bread if they have it."
Itachi nodded as he strode to the counter to order their food. A few minutes later he was walking toward the back of the eatery carrying two plastic baskets and two small cups on a tray. He handed one to Sasuke and put his on the table next to him.
Sasuke almost tore his wrapper open and inhaled deeply as the intoxicating smell of fresh tomatoes, some light kind of sauce and melted cheese filled the room. Nirvana in a basket, lunch didn't get much better than this. Sasuke forced himself to not dig into his sandwich and took a cautious sip of his drink. With the white plastic lid on top it was hard to tell what his brother had gotten him. "Thanks for lunch. The tea is pretty good."
Itachi opened his wrapper and took a small bite of his sesame chicken salad. "What is it with you and your dislike of meat all of a sudden? You never minded chicken or fish before."
Sasuke grunted at the images he'd seen on TV and how they went about slaughtering and buffing the chickens up had put him off the tasty birds. As for fish, well it just smelled so wrong if it wasn’t fresh. He only trusted his Aniki’s cooking when it came to sea food; his brother always made sure they had the best quality of anything they got. "If I told you, you wouldn’t want to eat it either.”
Itachi just nodded and finished his meal. "Alright; now before we get in the car again, there are a few rules." He gave Sasuke a stern look; pretty much saying that there was to be no arguments.
Sasuke took a long pull at his tea and stared at his brother; there were always rules. These would most likely be the most irritating since Itachi hadn't even wanted to take his brother to work to begin with. "Like what?"
"Number one; don't touch ANYTHING. You don't know where it's been. Number two; don't talk to anyone unless I introduce you to them. And number three; and this is the most important. My manager; I'll point him out to you; don't, under any circumstances talk to him. At all. If you break this last rule; I swear on all that is holy I will send you to live with Uncle Madara; no joke."
Sasuke was about to blow off all the rules, even the one about Itachi's manager when cold reality hit home like icy water down his spine at the mention of his uncle. Madara was not his most favorite relative. He would rather live with his parents. "You wouldn't DARE!" Sasuke sounded incredulous and couldn’t keep from staring wildly at his older brother.
Itachi looked smug and leaned back in his seat. "I would, and you know it. Now let's go." he said as he picked up their wrappers and threw them away.
Sasuke sulked and trooped after Itachi like a good little boy, anything to avoid having to spend even a minute with his strange uncle. "You're mean. This was supposed to be fun."
Itachi got into the car and made sure that Sasuke was in before he started the engine. "It's not supposed to be fun; I didn't even want to take you in the first place."
He drove toward the building where they were doing the shoot that day which didn't take very long; about ten minutes at most.
Sasuke frowned at the rather plain looking building made of concrete and no windows on the outside, or at least none he could see.
Despite himself, the little Uchiha felt disappointed even though he knew porn movies probably didn’t have neon signs saying what was going on. He was expecting something a little more... impressive than the forgettable warehouse sized place in front of him.
Itachi turned off the engine and turned to Sasuke. "Now; don't forget the rules and I expect you to stick to them the whole time got it? And no disappearing acts alright?"
Sasuke pouted and threw his door open to get out and hoped that things would get better once they were inside. "Fine. But I want to see you working.”
Itachi got out of the car as well and grabbed a hold of Sasuke's arm to keep him from going too far ahead. "No; that's one thing I won't let you do. You can see the set and all of that; but when we start filming, I'm getting someone to watch you."
"I'm not a little kid Aniki. I can look after myself.” Sasuke tore his arm from his brother’s grasp and scowled at the faint wrinkles in his sleeve. Trust Itachi to mess his outfit up like that.
Itachi sighed and opened the door for his little brother. "You'll do what I tell you to. Unless you want to live with your uncle for a couple years." he said tauntingly as he closed the door behind him.
He vaguely wondered who he'd be working with today... He saw Jiraiya, another manager, in the corner inhaling a doughnut; he figured he'd be working with someone from his agency. They were pretty hot; but some were lacking a bit in the 'getting it up' department.
Sasuke scooted close to his brother and looked around. Well this was getting better. "Who was that with the white hair?"
"That’s Jiraiya; he's another manager. Most likely I'll be doing a shoot with one of his guys." He paused as he saw his own manager from the corner of his eye. He grabbed Sasuke's arm again and directed him to look over in that direction. "That's Orochimaru; my manager. That's the guy I don't want you near at all. Do you understand?"
Sasuke looked in the direction his brother indicated and wrinkled his nose in disgust. That guy was ugly, even from this distance the underage Uchiha felt something 'wrong' about the pale black haired man that his brother apparently worked for. "I understand. I wouldn’t be caught dead near that pasty bastard anyway."
Itachi smiled and ruffled his brother's hair in a loving gesture. "Good; now come with me so I can introduce you to Jiraiya; he'll be keeping an eye on you."
Sasuke turned back to Itachi at the mention of the white haired old man. “Wait.. What?”
