Hidden Love

Later that day Gaara and Naruto were outside behind the gym, the blond had gotten his phone stolen and thrown into a pile of wood from one of the old plays and the redhead had climbed into it after taking off his sweat shirt and hat. "There are sooo many nails in here..." Gaara said and Naruto looked in after him. "Make sure to climb out backwards so you don't get caught on the ones here." Naruto said and sighed. "Sorry you have to do this but your smaller than me." He said and ducked when a brick was thrown at him. "Don't call me small you ass!" Gaara yelled twitching and the blond laughed.

Lee blinked and walked over to them, "What are you two doing..?" He asked a little confused as to why he heard Gaara's voice yelling in the pile of wood and Naruto just sitting outside of it. But then he glanced Gaara's clothes on the side of the wood pile and got even more confused.

Naruto sweat dropped then made a 'shh' sign. "The guys could come back, they throw my phone in there and Gaara went in to get it." He explained and turned when the redhead started to talk again. "I found it! I am coming out, no is around right?" He asked and Naruto looked at Lee then smirked. "Nope no one just little old me." Naruto replied and covered Lee's mouth so he couldn't talk, he wanted Lee to see the real Gaara. The redhead started to move backwards and carefully started to climbed over the boards.

"Um Gaara-kun? I am here, Naruto why are you not telling him?" Lee stated out loud and pretty loud at that. Gaara could diffidently hear him and then Lee tried to see the redhead better.

Gaara froze then jerked himself back trying to get out to get his jacket but his shirt caught on a nail, he gasped and stumbled back a loud ripping sound filling the air. The redhead turned around and blushed seeing his white t-shirt now had a huge rip in the front of it, the sun caught his red hair making it almost glow as he looked over at Lee and froze up again. "Oh that's a sexy look." Naruto teased smirking.

The older male eyes widened immensely. Gaara diffidently had change! 'Oh wow.. he is really hot now...' Inner Lee's thoughts came along making him turn red and turn around. "U-Um I am going to class now!!" He yelled awkwardly trying to just get away from the situations so his thoughts would go back to normal.

"Bushy-brows it's in the middle of lunch hang out with us." Naruto said and blinked watching Gaara quickly grab his hat and pulled it down as far as he could on his head covering his eyes, his cheeks a dark red as he pulled his ripped shirt close. "Hehe why you being shy redhead." He asked and Gaara turned to grab his sweat shirt. "S-Shut up! I am not s-shy!" Gaara spat.

Lee was still blushing and trying to push his thoughts away, "N-No no no! I am fine really I like being early for class that is always youthful!" Lee yelled out and started walking away again. 'I did not remember he had red hair.. and his skin so smooth looking and ivory colored...' Lee's inner thoughts chimed in and he turned even redder covering his face, "gah!!"

Gaara straightened out his shirt and Naruto looked confused. "Lee? You are acting weird? Lunch just started." He said. Gaara frowned and looked at the grass. "His group probably needs him let him go." He muttered and knelt down opening his backpack to get his and Naruto's scripts.

"No no.. I can stay today if you want..." Lee said and then run his hands into his hair mentally yelling at himself before forcing an non awkward smile straightening up and turning around looking at them.

"Yaaay!" Naruto cheered and playfully glomped his friend. "Alright! Bushy-brows help us pick a part to act out! Pick a page in the script for Gaara and I to start on." He said handing the papers over to Gaara. The redhead rolled his eyes and felt awkward when his and Lee's eyes meet so he quickly looked away. 'Why am I so awkward all of a sudden?' He thought and rubbed his elbow.

Lee blinked and stated a random page number too distracted to think of an actual page. Gaara had not put his sweat shirt back on and Lee found his eyes looking Gaara up and down a bit. 'When did he get so slim..? And that tattoo that was on his forehead... gah those eyes.. have they always been that green...? They are more beautiful then Saku- no no no brain do not think that.. you can not think that.. shut up and just pay attention.'

Naruto took the script then smirked. "Oooh nice Bushy-Brows its the kiss scene." Naruto said and walked over to Gaara taking his jacket. "H-Hey!" Gaara complained and blushed as Naruto looped a arm around him. "I can't wrap my arm around you when you wear that huge thing so just read your lines, we needed to practice this part anyway." Naruto replied and the redhead pouted. "Leee you set me up!" Gaara whined then blushed realizing he was acting like his old self and shook his head. He picked up his script and sighed as he started to read off his lines. His mind couldn't help but wonder back into the past. When he was little he used to be extremely shy and easily scared, he was lonely till he met the hyper kid across the street who used to climb through a hole in the fence to come visit him. Lee used to always protect him...and cheer him up when he cried..all that changed though when they were in middle school and Lee met Sakura. He shook his head pushing his memories aside and kept reading. "Then you most prove your feelings for me with a kiss." Gaara said trying to stay in character.

"Huh what do you mean? Wait a kiss? You guys are not actually going to-" Lee cut himself off seeing Naruto dip Gaara down and kiss him. Whoa whoa whoa wasn't Gaara with Riku? How was he ok with this? Just as Naruto did that however Riku happened to be walking up wanting to ask his boyfriend something. Needless to say the sight in front of him caught him off guard. "G-Gaara!" Riku yelled out his voice cracking with slight anger cigarette falling from his lips.

Gaara gasped then yelped when Naruto dropped him. "Oh shit! Sorry Gaara! Oh uh hi R-Riku..uh hahaha we were practicing a scene relax." Naruto said waving his hands around and backing up a little.

"Braiser tu a stupide!" Riku yelled and growled at him moving over quickly to gently pull Gaara up. "Are you ok Gaara..?" The oldest male asked gently stroking his back and he was using such a sweet tone which quickly changed when he glared at Naruto. "You fucking idiot... If it was a scene you should have just said so not dropped him I am going to hurt you ten times as bad now!" Riku growled out. But Lee stepped next to Naruto a little ready to defend the blond who was always getting in fights with Riku.

Gaara quickly stepped in front of his boyfriend and set his hands on his chest. "Riku calm down, I really don't want to have to get out my first aid kit right now." He said softly. Naruto frowned a little and crossed his arms. "You know Riku if you protected him right he would not have to carry around a first aid kit." The blond growled and glared back at the older man. Gaara sweat dropped and sighed knowing the yelling was going to start.

"Oh like you are perfect Naruto! Back the hell off of him ok!" Riku yelled and then sighed leaning back on his thighs gently pulling Gaara into his lap, "If you stayed with me instead of running off then you would not have to carry that stupid kit.." Riku said and leaned in brushing his lips to Gaara's as if wanted to get rid of the taintedness of Naruto on them. Lee felt that same thing well up in his stomach and this time he had to look away and sigh.

Naruto twitched and glared even more at Riku. "As his best friend I am not backing off." He growled. Gaara blushed faintly from the kiss then slipped out of his boyfriends grip and started walking. "I need to buy lunch I kinda fell on my backpack and crushed mine." He explained and hurried off. 'That was a odd look...I have never seen Lee make that face before.' He thought and dodged around a few students. Sakura smirked as she watched Gaara walk by then texted Lee. 'Did U ask him to party?' She texted then looked up at Shino when he walked by. "Hey you are good at finding stuff out right? Can I ask you something?" Sakura asked giving one of her pretty girl smiles.

Lee sighed. No he had completely forgotten, but it was already too late, he did not see Gaara again until gym. When they were in line Lee stuck his tongue out to Riku before turning his head whispering to Gaara not wanting to get his father's attention. "Gaara-kun do you want to come to a party with me..?" He asked.

The redhead blinked and looked up from his book. "Eh nani? A party?...I would not be welcome." Gaara replied and watched as Naruto ran past them to the supplies closet with Kiba to get the volleyball net.

"Sakura-chan keeps bugging me to ask you... she wants you there.. I think she has changed.." Lee said to him and tried to watch his other friends who were going to get the net.

Gaara frowned and then sighed. 'It's bad idea...say no Gaara and just walk away...it's a trick and they are going to make a fool of you.' "I guess..." 'The fuck!' He smacked his forehead and started muttering curses to himself. What was it about Lee that made him act so weird? "I will only go if Naruto is there...and if there is no drinking." He said wanting so hard to believe that maybe him and Lee could try being friends again...wanting to believe Lee had changed back.

"That is great," Lee said with a happy grin and then added, "I will give you details after class..." However after class his father needed help and Lee was putting away a net with Gaara. "Sorry, I always help him when he needs it, he is my dad after all." Lee stated with a happy smile. However when he was walking back out of the closet he did not notice that his foot had caught on the net until it was too late.

Gaara gasped and quickly stepped forward to try and help but forgot about the fact Lee was bigger than him and ended up falling back and crashing down onto the floor Lee landing on top of him. "O-Oww.." He groaned and looked up at Lee only to turn bright red. 'H-His face is r-really close...w-why is my heart suddenly pounding?' He thought and set his hand on the older males shoulder.

Lee turned a dark red and froze up unsure of what to do. 'This feels nice.. him below us... wow his body is really warm and comfy..' His inner thoughts beckoned and he felt even more embarrassed head slowly turning to the side, their lips were so close to touching.

Gaara felt his eyes close half way and his self control slipping. 'What am I doing..' He thought as he lifted his head a little only to freeze when he noticed out of the corner of his eye one of the old polls leaning on the wall tip over and start to fall. 'AH! Its gonna land on Lee!' He thought and wrapped his arm around Lee then moved it up. A loud crack was heard when the poll hit his arm and he couldn't help but scream out in pain his eyes tearing up.

Lee's eyes widened and he quickly yet gently moved Gaara's arms off of him and pushed the pole off. Sitting off to the side he looked concerned down at Gaara, his mind slowly starting to panic. Gaara was screaming in pain and that crack.. He had caused Gaara pain, he did it again. "Gaara-kun I am so sorry hold on ok.." He said softly and stood up.

Gaara rolled onto his side and cursed himself for crying, but the pain was so bad. "What's going on in here who's screaming?" Gai asked throwing open the door and blinked looking down at Gaara huddled in a ball on the floor. "Lee what...? What happened?" He asked quickly walking in and kneeling down next to the redhead.

Lee's eyes welled up a bit with tears and he whipped them before croaking out: "Dad.. get your keys, just go get them hurry!" After Lee yelled that he knelt down and gently pulled Gaara up and held him bridal style all the while supporting the arm that Lee knew was broken.
