Page 212: I was yelled at today. Naruto had found my secluded area where I still train with my sword. He noticed all of the slash marks in the tree and put together that I had been continuing using my sword since we arrived here. He disapproves. After a long, drawn out argument, I agreed that I'll put my sword away if he stops wearing that eye-bleeding bright orange. He agreed. We have an accord. Page 223: Another fight today, but it was over my Sharingan! He says that I shouldn't use it, due to the deterioration. If I don't use it, I'm not an Uchiha! Still, maybe he is right. Itachi lost his eyesight slowly. He couldn't even see my face in his last moments. Now that I have his eyes, I wonder. We have another accord. I won't use it anymore because there not reason for me to fight. He promised to give up spending all of our saving trying to win prizes at every festival. It's a win-win. Page 362: Today makes a year we've been here together. It's almost hard to imagine. That's why I've written in this journal carefully every day. These are memories I want to take with me, no matter what happens in the future. My ongoing mission has been slightly successful, but no real progress yet. The fox has a head thicker than wet concrete. It reminds me during the winter holiday, how he dressed in red and handed out candy to my entire class. There is no snow here, so with that tan, he looked like a boiled lobster on the beach. He said the best part about the desert is that you can ice cream all year round. That's not the best part. The best part is that we're together all year. The ice cream doesn't hurt though.
