Itachi and Shisui arrived back at the cave, and Koroshi pulled them into her arms. “Oh, Itachi-sama! Shisui!” “It is about time for me to leave, Koroshi.” Itachi said suddenly. “What? Why?” “I am going to let Sasuke kill me. I have already made my decision.” “What!? No! You can’t do that!” Koroshi cried. Shisui looked at his father, fear in his eyes. “You…you’re gonna let uncle Sasuke kill you, dad?” “Yes. Your uncle thinks what I want for him to think about me. He thinks that I am an evil man, and that I killed our entire family just to test my own abilities. That is not the truth, but I want for Sasuke to think that. So you both must promise me that you will not tell him the truth.” Itachi said, serious. “But Itachi-sama…” Koroshi said. “No ‘buts’, Koroshi.” Koroshi sighed. “Please, Itachi-sama…please, don’t leave me.” “I can stay one more night, but I must go in before day light in the morning, Koroshi.” Tears ran down her face, but she would take it. She nodded. “Shisui, I want for you to go to bed, and I don’t want you to leave that bed until we come and tell you that it’s alright.”
