Naruto


Slowly I felt Neji's hands come up to rest on my shoulders and he gently disengaged himself from me. His opaque eyes were looking through me again. "I already told you Naruto, this isn't going to work."


I refused to hear it and tried to go in for another kiss while climbing up into his lap. "Neji, do you feel anything for me?" I asked while curling my hands around his neck. "I know you've been watching me. I can feel your gaze." My left hand went to tug at a few loose strands.

Neji tilted his head scrutinizing me. His hands still rested on my shoulders successfully restraining any movement. His eyes narrowed making him look positively vicious. That look was so sexy. Neji's eyes always caught light in the wierdest manner. The dim light from my appartment tinted his normally silver depths the color of fire opals. I could see my reflection contained there in. I felt Neji's hand move and then I had landed on the floor on my back him leaning over me with anger deep in his eyes.

I was frightened now, but that didn't stop my mind from drifting to the compromising position we were in. Briefly I heard his silky voice.


"What is it that you want Naruto?" One of his hands cupped my face while the other disabled me. Wait. He had only touched places on my shoulders and thighs and now I couldn't move. "Is this what you want?" he whispered dangerously making me whimper. "To lay here begging some one to screw you senseless?" Why did the prospect of lying helpless before the Hyuuga boy sound so enticing?


"No...." I shook my head. "I just want to know if you have any feelings at all toward me." I had to admit I kinda liked being like this.


"Naruto....You're an okay kid, but you'd better think about what you're hinting at. I already told you, you're too young for me. Besides you don't want to give that away now. That's a decision that can completely change things."


He brushed my bangs back before standing up and straightening himself out. I gazed up from the floor as he reshaped his ponytail his shirt sliding up a bit so that I could see the traces of rock hard muscles. He paused and looked at the door while picking his case up. Curiousity rose within me. What was he looking at?


"So you realized you left your key here Uchiha." He tossed the keyring to the frowning boy. "Uchiha..." he stated while leaving.

My faced was flushed and my breathing heavy. Sasuke gazed at me disapprovingly before kneeling down to help me sit up. His face was placid, but I could feel his anger through those deep obsidian eyes. My body felt like gelatin as I tried to stand.

"Naruto you need to stop acting like that. You're going to get the reputation of a slut, unless you already are one." He gave me that snide look.

I felt such a desire to wipe that damned smirk of his face that suddenly my limbs were all able again. Heat surged up through my body as I tackled Sasuke and rolled him to the floor. I pounded the floor next to his head with a fist leaving a mark. The urge to fight was so primal, so intense......But so was something else......something even more savage awoke as I gazed down through angry eyes. I could feel Kyuubi's pulse running through my veins. Sasuke was gazing up at me with an unreadable glare. As I held him in place, I noticed a flicker of crimson filthrouhrough his stare. His eyes closed and he pushed against me trying to displace me. His build was more muscular enabling him to reverse our positions. His hips weighed against my thighs ensuring that I couldn't move while my arms lashed out to scratch. His elbows quickly thrusted down on my lower arms restricting any more movement. I growled at himstinsting my body from side to side. He was talking to me.


"Hey Naruto, you're supposed to be acting like my boyfriend. Stop trying to get it on with Neji, I don't want the reputation of dating a slut." He smirked. "Try to keep that in mind dead last." He got up and left me on the floor. Stupid Sasuke. He wants me to act? Oh I'll act alright.

By the following Friday I was ready. Umino-sensei and his well boyfriend I guess got us out of class early so that we could get to the competetion site early. Sasuke's fanclub had all sighed and voiced their annoyance when Sasuke had grabbed my arm and lead me out of class. I blushed and stumbled after him, and now here I was wedged between him and Neji in a confined space. Life couldn't get any better. When we arrived at the said location I was so excited and ready to start singing that I danced about in the hallway waiting to recieve the time we were playing. In my dancing I accidentally bumped into a stranger. His dark eyes narrowed at me.


"Watch what the hell you're doing you little brat!" he yelled while pushing me roughly.


I was unbalanced, but never hit the floor. A strong hand caught me rougly by the shoulder. I looked up to see deep coal eyes looking forward. Sasuke? Sasuke had caught me?


"Stop it Kankuro. He didn't do anything." That voice. It was Gaara's. He was gazing at me. "Naruto....."


"The little brat pushed me." Kankuro started, but was cut off by a dark look by Gaara. "Sorry Gaara....Jeez....you'd think that little cunt was something special."


Gaara wasn't paying attention to his bandmate, he was locked on Sasuke. I could see an odd emotion boiling in his eyes. Sasuke was returning the glare just as adamantly. I gazed up at the both of them and then maneuvered my way over to Neji to find out what time we'd gotten.


Neji was standing there holding a ponytail holdn hin his mouth as he braided his hair to keep it away from his face as he played. The thick plait added to his sex appeal, especially since the shirt he was wearing was half unzipped. I sighed and flopped to the floor. I was ready to perform. Neji watched me for a minute and then I felt his hand rest on the top of my head in an almost comforting motion. I sighed happily. Kyuubi was purring. I suddenly got another image in my head. I felt like Neji's pet sitting there and in a sense purring e hee he patted the top of my head. I was never good with waiting.


Sasuke had come back and was now sitting next to me tuning his guitar. I had to admit, I never thought he'd defend me. I watched his subtle movements as he went through the procedure. His mouth curved around the small metal tuner as he blew a soft pitch and then matched it with a hit to the strings.


"Hidden Leaves, you're up."


I jumped to my feet ready to show everyone that I, Uzumaki Naruto, was going to take home the gold. My eyes widened at the size of the crowd. I scanned over it and noticed Umino and Hatake-sensei front and center and smiled. Neji gazed at me silently questioning if I was ready. I nodded and then he motioned to Sasuke. Heavy guitar music came in and I was ready.


"My reflection, dirty mirror there's no connection to myself I'm your lover, I'm your zero I'm the face in your dreams of glass." I growled out lyrics to this song. So much rage and energy filled it, and I loved singing it. "so save your prayers for when we're really gonna need 'em throw out your cares and fly wanna go for a ride?" There was cheering, these people knew nothing except that they were enjoying my singing. "she's the one for me she's all I really need

I emphasized the last note with a stomp on the stage.


A loud cheer erupted from the audience. I grinned and yelled out. "YEAH! I wanna ROCKS!!!" more cheering.


"Scores will be tallied after the last per performs, and then the Bands advancing to finals will deliver their second song."


I sighed and gazed at the smirking faces of Sasuke and Neji. I felt for once that I belonged, here with them, on the stage. It was such a great feeling, and I couldn't wait to advance. The next song would be perfect.


A/N: Okay guys, this chappie seems a little shorter, but the next will be longer with possibly, possibly some citrus. I wonder if anyone recognized the song.
