Chapter Six
Morning arrived and Kakashi entered the raven haired boys room. Sasuke was still unconscience and still pale.
"Sasuke...." Kakashi sat next to him and checked his wound. It was swollen and red, but not bleeding anymore.
"How is he?" Kakashi knew it was Sakura, knew it before she spoke, just by her footfalls.
"I think he's better, if only by a margin." Kakashi said and she came up to Sasuke's bedside, kneeling down.
"I think it may take longer for the color to return." Sakura said. "He might just need some food to build up his blood again."
Kakashi gave a nod and then stood up, Sakura stood up as well. "We should go." He said and they turned to leave when they heard a low moan.
"Sasuke?" They both questioned, spinning around and seen the boy's eyes opened.
"Sakura get the Hokage and get Naruto down here." Kakashi ordered and she ran off.
Sasuke blinked several times, clearing his vision as Kakashi hovered over him. "Is there anything you want Sasuke?" The older man asked.
"T..thirsty." The boy croaked, his throat feeling raw and Kakashi got him a glass of water.
"Let me help you sit." He pulled the youth up and helped him drink.
The Hokage, Sakura and Naruto piled into the room. "Naruto was lingering outside." Sakura said. "I guess he does care for Sasuke after all."
Naruto went red and pouted. "I...I was just waiting for Kakashi sensei." He muttered and Sasuke looked at them.
"...Why am I not dead?" He asked.
"Well Sakura used her Healing Jutsu on you and we just bandaged you up." Kakashi said.
"...." Sasuke swallowed more water and coughed a little.
"How are you feeling?" The Hokage asked.
"I feel like shit, how do you think?" Sasuke sat the empty glass down and shook his head. "...I'm sorry Hokage, I didn't mea to be rude." He apologized.
"It's okay. I know you don't feel 100%, I was just curious if you...feel odd." The Hokage asked.
"...Odd like what?" asked Sasuke and the Hokage shrugged.
"We don't know anything about that Jutsu they used, so I was wondering if there was any sort of difference." He said.
"No. I'm just tired." Sasuke said and Kakashi nodded.
"That's understandable with how much blood you lost." He said. "Are you hungry?" Kakashi asked the young Uchiha.
"No, not really." Sasuke said.
"If you need anything just holler." Sakura said and Sasuke felt his throat.
"It's better that you don't mess with your wound." The Hokage said and the boy dropped his hand away. "Your dressing should be changed as well." He stuck his head out and ordered some of the more medically inclined ninjas to come in.
Sasuke's bandages were undone and they put a special salve on it since it wasn't bleeding, then put a fresh wrap on it.
"There you go." A female ninja winked and Inner Sakura imagined throwing her out of the window.
"I think I'm starting to get hungry." Sasuke said.
"What do you want everyone to wait on you like some royalty?" Naruto snorted and Sasuke looked down.
"...Never mind." He whispered and Sakura glared at the blonde ninja.
"Naruto! You're such a jerk!" She yelled and threw a pan at him. The flaxen haired boy fell over and twitched with swirly eyes. "Okay Sasuke, what would you like?" She asked sweetly and Kakashi and The Hokage sported sweatdrops.
"Um...I'm not sure." Sasuke said.
"Well some meat will help your blood build up, so I'll get you a steak, fish and rice." Kakashi said and Naruto sprang up.
"Can I get some ramen?" He asked and Kakashi nodded.
"Yeah, why not." The two ran off to get the food and Sasuke felt his eyes wonder to Sakura's neck, the plump vein pulsing beneath the surface.
Sasuke unconsciencely liked his lips and then blinked, coming out of his daze. 'What was I doing?' He thought and sat back.

@_@. I know it's slow, but bear with me, I'm working on two other stories besides this one. Also when I'm done with one of them I'll start on a sequal to my story Edward and The Ladies.
