Secret Guardian: Sasuke's POV

Hmm, another one, cause you all asked so nicely. And a brief lemon, because it had to happen sometime.

Hime: *cough*pervert*cough*

D’Ceandre: Hey!

And I came to the end of my knowledge of Japanese sentence structure, so we’re back to regular old English.

“Tch. Naruto’s on the warpath again.” I look over to see Shikamaru watching the angry blond stalk down the street. Ino nods in agreement.

“Umiko must have hidden his choker again. Bitch.” I just frown and take a sip of my sake. This is my favourite outdoor restaurant, since you can see the whole street from here.

It’s been ten years since I rescued him on that mission, and though he doesn’t know it, I’ve been keeping a closer eye on him. Of course, he hasn’t seen me in those ten years; he never could detect me, though no one else can sneak up on him. I wonder if it’s something subconsciously noticing my presence and ignoring it.

I let a tiny smile almost cross my face as I watch him. I know all about Umiko.

She showed up about six years ago, some friend of one of the villagers. Everyone but Naruto liked her, and the most common rumour as to his dislike was the fact that she looked like me.

I suppose she does, a bit, the same blue-black hair, cut short, black eyes and pale skin.

I’m not sure exactly how it happened, but somehow she managed to get the idiot drunk, or drugged, out of his mind and into bed with her. Then she told him she was pregnant and either he married her or she called rape.

So now they’re unhappily married. It wasn’t long before she revealed her true colours, about the same time as she realised the ‘hokage-to-be’ she had married was only a chuunin with little hope of advancement, hated by nearly the whole village.

Despite that fact, she’s manoeuvred him into four children. Really cute kids too, a little girl, the first-born, who looks like her mother, a five-year-old blue-eyed, black-haired boy, a three-year-old redhead, who is rumoured to actually belong to Gaara, which wouldn’t surprise me, probably she somehow managed to get him to get her pregnant or something, then tried to blackmail him. That doesn’t work on Gaara though; you can’t blackmail someone who doesn’t care if people know his secrets. Their last child is a one-year-old boy, who, if rumours are true, looks exactly like he did at that age, right down to the whisker marks.

Most would think I’d be upset about him being married, but it doesn’t bother me any. I can no more bear his children then he can bear mine. And I know where his heart lies, firmly wrapped around my little finger. No, I’m not taking advantage of that, or at least, I’m not trying to. I’ve just other things to do, and he’s already shown that I can trust him to wait.

Besides, it’s not like I’ve been celibate. The twins, along with another boy, who’s seven now, and his two-year-old full-sister, annoy the bitch as much as anything else. I know it upsets him, knowing that I have another woman, but she’s just a girl. My really important people are kept safe here, him and the children.

I am going to have to do something about that damned choker, though. I still don’t know why he’s so obsessed over it, though it’s adorable to see him carry on like that. But every time I check on him, she’s either hidden it or sold it to a pawnshop or something. One time she even buried it; Akamaru found it. I gave him a piece of steak later, when no one was looking.

“Naruto! Where have you been?” My eyes narrow in anger as I see said whore appear suddenly in Naruto’s path.

“I was on a mission. I told you last night I’d be gone today. Where’s my choker?”

“I threw the damned thing away. And if you didn’t hoard that money you have sitting in that account, you wouldn’t have to go on these stupid missions and you’d be able to take care of those brats that keep on showing up!”

“It’s not my money.” He answered, that low growl clear in his voice. Everyone else starts clearing a large space around him. It’s not safe to be around them when they’re having an argument. Not that he would hit her; outside of battle, he’ll go out of his way to avoid harming a girl.

It’s all I can do to keep from rushing out there to pound her face in when I hear the crack of her hand across his cheek. I can’t keep my sharigan from flaring up.

Then she says the four words that woman swear are guaranteed to bring a married man to his knees.

“I. Want. A. Divorce.” He reaches around like he’s about to hug her, and I frown at her triumphant smile, but my expression soon changes to a smirk as he pulls something out of her purse. Then he grins at her cheekily, holding up the recovered choker.

“So do I.” Her face turns practically purple, but he doesn’t seem to care, just clipping the choker around his neck again. I have to admit, he does look irresistibly cute with it on.

“You… I never should have bothered with you. Fine, keep the damned thing. Keep waiting around for whoever the girl is who’s stringing you along like a lost puppy she decided to take pity on. No one in their right mind would waste their time on a useless demon bastard like you anyway. I want you, and those black-eyed brats of yours, out of my house by nightfall.”

That’s going far too far. It’s clear in those blue eyes, still far too expressive for his own good, that her words have struck something. In a poof of smoke, he’s gone, and a moment later, I’m paying for my drink and leaving as well, not failing to notice the pair of bored eyes that watch me leave, nor the irritated voice that follows me.

“How troublesome.”

******

I find him on top of the Hokage monument, unsurprisingly. He’s stretched out on his stomach, staring down at the village.

I stand behind him a moment, admiring the view, then my hands flash through a set of seals and he half-turns, finally noticing me, as I touch two fingers to the clasp on the choker, setting the locking jutsu.

“What did you do?” He asks, mere curiosity. I ignore the question, instead offering a gentle kiss on his temple as I sit and pull him into my arms. It feels good, holding him, though I dislike touching anyone else.

“You should have left her a long time ago.” I murmur into his hair. He shrugs, and I bend my head to kiss his neck, just above the ribbon.

“It’s her house. Who else in town is going to give a place to a demon and eight ki… Ow! Bastard!”

I gently kiss the spot I bit. “I don’t want to hear that again.” He sighs and I suck and lick at the mark a bit, making it quite obvious. Not as lasting as the tattoo, but this is far harder to hide.

“Pick a place in the Uchiha district.”

“What?” He shakes his head slightly, and I realise that he had been half-asleep.

“Take one of the houses in the Uchiha district. There’s more then enough room. My children are Uchiha and you belong to me. You’re certainly entitled to claim it.”

“I don’t belong to you.”

“Don’t you?” He doesn’t answer and there’s silence for a while, as he lies dozing while I leave my ownership on his neck. Really I just want to turn him over the rock and take him so hard he can’t walk for the next week. But I don’t. It will be hard enough to leave again as it is.

“It’s too far.” He says finally.

“Hmm?”

“The Uchiha district. If something were to happen, if Itachi ca… Would you stop that.”

“Stop being stupid, then.” I reply as I bathe the bite, a bit above and further back then the first. I’d almost think he didn’t want anyone to know he was mine, refusing to use the money, trying to find ways out of taking a house. But the choker and the fuss he makes over it pretty much ruin any attempts in that direction. Probably just his overactive sense of pride. Not that I’m much better there.

“I’ll worry about Itachi. You worry about taking care of yourself and the kids. And stop taking those damned suicide missions you seem so fond of. I won’t be pleased if I come back after he’s dead, ready to fuck you senseless, and you’re either incapacitated or worse, not here.” He tenses just the slightest bit at that, and I’m pretty sure he’s remembering the times Orochimaru forced him. Maybe I should, now, just to show him that it doesn’t have to hurt. I let my hand fall lower, dipping underneath the band of his pants.

“Sasuke?” His voice is uncertain, a little scared.

“Hush, Pet.” I decide I like the sound of that nickname. Pet. My pet fox, wearing my collar. I turn him around and kiss him, offering a distraction while I lay him on the moss-covered rock.

I undress him slowly, stopping occasionally to soothe him with kisses and murmurs. It would amaze most people how sensitive I can be when I want to; I pay a lot more attention to the people around me then they think I do, and I’ve had a lot of time to decipher Naruto’s characteristics. His eyes show fear, but he doesn’t try to stop me, and soon he’s just as aroused as I am.

He whimpers when I press a finger into him, though it’s well coated in the skin cream I always carry with me, and his muscles tighten, fighting the invasion. But with a bit more patient encouragement, he relaxes enough to let me in.

There’s a low gasp that trails into a whine when I find his prostrate, and he relaxes enough for me to slip another finger in, at which he tenses again and we start the cycle over.

But despite his apprehension, I’m soon pushing into him, while he clutches at me frantically.

“It hurts.” He complains. I kiss him, but don’t answer. It will stop hurting in a minute, and I know this isn’t anything near what Orochimaru used to do to him. I’d seen the state some of his sex-slaves had been in when they had left his room, or been carried from it. I’m just glad he had the Kyuubi healing him; he might not have survived otherwise.

“Sasuke.” He whines, and I obey the unspoken request, beginning slow even thrusts. But neither of us are satisfied with that for long, and I’m soon pounding him into the rock, his moans and cries and pleas for me to fuck him harder, faster, like music to my ears.

He calls me name as he comes, and I answer with his when I fill him with my seed a moment later. I relax, staring into dazed sapphires as he comes down from his high and actually find myself smiling. He smiles back, not one of his goofy grins, but a small true smile.

“You’re pretty when you smile.” He says, running a finger over my lips, tracing the expression. “Prettier then when you don’t.”

“Why do you think I don’t smile? If I did it too often, my fan club would all be dying from giddiness.”

“Kill me, then.” He answered. My smile grows a bit.

“All right. But only for you.”

******

We sit there for a while longer, after cleaning up with some baby-wipes he had in his pouch, for some odd reason.

“How long, Sasuke?” He asks finally. I know what he’s talking about but he apparently thinks I don’t. “How long until you come back for good?”

“I don’t know.” I answer truthfully. “Not too long.” I’ve decided that if I haven’t managed to kill Itachi soon, then I’ll probably never be able to, and I’m beginning to believe what Kakashi said so long ago about revenge.

“Promise?” For a moment he sounds like a hopeful child, and I wonder when he got so submissive. It’s probably that girl’s fault. My expression darkens.

“I want you away from that whore, Pet. Pick a house and use the money I gave you to have it fixed up. If you go back to her, I’ll assume you’re not interested in us anymore.” I hook a finger under the band of the choker, as if I’m going to pull it off, and he squirms uncomfortably.

But a few kisses and cuddles later, he’s sleeping in my arms again, and I move him carefully to rest on the stone, forcing myself to ignore the unhappy moan he gives when I let go of him. I promised soon, but not now. There’s still things for me to do.

******

Later, though, I’m watching, when he shows up at Sakura and Lee’s door with the four youngest children, the others sent off to spend the night at one or another of their friends’ houses. And I’m there when he goes down to the Uchiha district, automatically going to the main house, my parent’s house and, later, mine.

The place looks surprisingly well-kept considering no one’s been in it for over fifteen years, and I’m sure that before much longer the bitch will have her divorce, and laughter will ring down these streets again.

And we get to see Sasuke’s romantic side. *Sits staring at adult Sasuke with huge heart eyes.*

Trouble: Okay, since you’ve all gone to the trouble of writing reviews and all, we managed to keep her from staring at her latest obsession long enough to acknowledge them.

Vox: Here go. *Hands her a life-size Naruto plushie, and hugs her own set Sasu/Naru/Gaara plushies.* And continuance.

ShinigamiTaishou: Yeah, that choker thing kinda got away on me. But Naru-chan looks so cute in a collar. I’ve adored it since I saw him wearing that radio choker in the episode where they’re chasing the cat.

Anon: More girls for you to dislike. And for informational sake, Sasuke’s new girl is *solely* serving as brood mare. Kinda not nice of him, but she’s happy as long as he’s giving her lots of money. It won’t last long.

Aki-sama: All D’Ceandre plot kitties are personally selected and trained by an expert team of senior muses. They do a good job, don’t they?
