It had been a week since Inuka had attacked. It had taken Naruto a few days to recover and regain enough chakra for them to continue. The lord was a bit surprised to learn of Naruto being truly half demon and even more surprised to learn the truth behind Kyuubi's attack upon the village. When Naruto hesitently asked what he thought and if he was going to do or say anything, Gen let out a boistrous laugh and thumped him on the back. Then saying with a brilliant smile and eyes sparkling in innocent mischief, " Why would I take away such a strong shinobi? No I think its more important for us to keep you, not to mention detrimental to our health" he let out another laugh at his own lame joke, making Naruto and Kiba grin and Sasuke smirk. He promised to keep quiet and even went so far as to tell Naruto that if he should have need of him to let him know and he will come and defend him, or hire if it becomes nessecary.

Naruto could feel his heat comming and he was utterly frustrated. They still had at least three days before they finally reached their destination. After his fight with Inuka the travling had been rather peaceful. It was strange to Naruto, the quietness of their journey. Well except maybe the occasional arguing from him, Sasuke and Kiba but hey that was only natural. He idly wondered what he was going to do for his mating cycle. ' I suppose we can travel near water as much as possible so I can cool off when needed. Not like they dont understand what is going to happen.' He blushed remembering when he had sat down the others to explain exactly what was going to happen. Gen had gotten a real kick out of his embarassment.

Naruto sighed and took a quick sniff of the air, locating a water source nearby he decided it was time to cool off some. They were just getting ready to stop for camp anyway. " Hey Kiba where is Sasuke? "

" Not sure should be just up ahead a little ways why? "

" There's a water source nearby and since we are getting ready to stop for the night I'm going to go ahead and find it. I can take the canteens while I go cool off." Naruto suggested. He rounded up the canteens and went off to find Sasuke to warn him.

He found the water source and stopped short and stared in awe at the serene scene that graced his vision. The lake's backdrop consisted of a gently cascading waterfall with a faint rainbow from the evening sun. Reeds and other water vegetation floated calmly in the clear blue water. Crickets and other wildlife could be heard chirping their chours adding to the atmosphere.

Taking a deep breath, Naruto took a moment to apperciate the blissfully tranquil scenery. After a moment of consideration, he sat the canteens down then disrobed himself. Slipping into the water Naruto lets out a content sigh, closing his eyes in pure bliss. " This is heaven."

" Damn where is that baka. Its been over two hours, it cant take that long for him to dunk his head, fill the canteens and come back. What if he got attacked or something, one of us should go find him" Kiba growled in annoyance and worry. He knew Naruto was getting closer to his heat and it worried him that another demon could attack the heat stricken half demon who most likely let his guard down.

" If your so worried about him then why dont you go find him. I spotted the lake about a quarter of a mile from here when I was scouting. He probably just dozed off or something." Sasuke had noticed Naruto's lack of energy and had a fair idea of what was wrong with him. " He can take first watch when he gets back. I can take thrid and you go head and take second. I will wait till you come back with him."

" Whatever." Kiba stood from where he had just started the camp fire and looked over at Akamaru " You stay here Akamaru. I shouldn't be to long." With that said he took off into the woods to track down one wayward kitsune.

Fifteen minutes later Kiba came across the clearing with the lake and he was mezmerised by the sight before him. The sun had gone down an hour ago and the full moon was casting an illuminous white glow on Naruto's glitisning body. Naruto was sitting at the waters edge his lower half still submerged in the water. His arms were bent as he leaned back, eyes closed with his head resting between his shoulders thrown back. His hair gently swaying with the warm breeze.

Kiba stood transfixed, staring at the alluring body before him. ' I never realized just how gorgeous Naruto was. Damn.' He could feel his body responding to Naruto's nakedness.

Naruto was silently humming to himself. Enjoying the warmth and peacefulness of this cove. A slight breeze passed his nose and he could smell a strange scent on it. Another quick whiff and he knew what it was. " Kiba, I can smell you from here, you might as well come out dog breath." He had a slight grin as he noticed Kiba's arousal. ' Hmm.. this could be fun. I need a mate and Kiba was one of my choices. If only Sasuke was here.' a small shiver ran down his spine at his remembered fantasy ' But I only really want to mate with Kiba. Sasuke wouldn't want to be my mate.' He thought sadly

" Yo. I came to find you and find out what was taking so long. Sasuke is giving you first watch."

"Ah, I'm only going to be a little longer. You should join me, I can smell your stench from all the way over here." Naruto said playfully.

Kiba growled then thought over the offer,' Hmm.. I wonder which way he swings.' he leered lustfully at Naruto who had turned his back to him once again. ' Only one way to find out ' Kiba smirked then began to undress himself to join Naruto. He slipped in silently and shivered a bit at the coolness of the lake. He plunged his head under the water then came back up, swimming closer to Naruto. " Naruto, I'm a bit curious about mating. I know what you told us, but exactly how do you choose a mate?"

Naruto was a bit surprised by the question but thought it over for a moment. How does one explain the complexities of choosing a mate. Okay so it wasen't really that complex more like deciding who you prefer but still, how do you tell one of your two possible mates he has been chosen? " Err well.. you see..there isn't really a method or way of knowing or anything like that. I suppose its just the choice of the demon. Most go for the strongest mate they can find. I've heard stories from my ojisan that long ago demons didn't have much of a choice, it was whoever there youkai would draw them to. Its kinda hard to explain. I listen to my demon side and he unfortunatly or fortunatly depdening on how you look at it has chosen two possible mates for me which is highly unusal. The sad part is they are both human and though they get along I doubt they look at each other much less myself in such away. Not sure how I'm going to survive when I actually have to tell them much less how to tell them. Seriously how do you go up to two guy friends and say "Well my youkai has chosen you two as my possible mates lets go fuck now." Naruto said a bit sarcastically.

Kiba's lips twitched at that thought. 'I wonder who they are.' Kiba looked over at the young half demon and his breath caught. Naruto was looking at him intently, his eyes glittering in the moonlight. Kiba sat transfixed as his face got closer to Naruto's. Before either could react they kissed. Naruto shuddered at the contact of soft lips on his own, and closed his eyes in bliss.

Kiba closed his eyes as well then a moment later shot open in disblief as he backed up and stared wide eyed at Naruto.

Naruto contemplated Kiba with hooded eyes and wondered if he understood the implications of that one kiss. A moment later he got his answer

"I'm one of your mates aren't I?" Kiba said in a bit of a husky voice. Naruto could only close his eyes, sigh softly then give a sharp nod in answer. He heard Kiba take in a sharp breath before he was pulled into Kiba's embrace and kissed passionatly.

Without breaking the kiss Kiba gently pushed Naruto into the soft grass, laying himself on top of him. The sound of another moan came when their bodies came into contact. Kiba gently lowered his head to Naruto's neck, kissing and licking as he went. He removed Naruto's shirt, swirling his tounge around Naruto's nipple.

Kiba slipped between Naruto's slightly parted legs, parting them wider. When Kiba's covered and Narutos naked flesh met both moaned in want. Standing Kiba quickly undressed the rest of the way then slipped back between Narutos parted legs letting their naked manhoods meet.

Grabbing the water canteens they began the journey back to camp.

Kiba was deep in thought, he looked over to Naruto and asked the question that had been bothering him for the last ten minutes." Naruto, if I am one of your mates, who is the other?" He wondered if he really wanted to know the answer. ' I'm not sure I can share him with anyone.. well maybe I can if it is someone as hot as him' Kiba grinned lasciviously.

'Oh no, Im not sure if I should tell him.' Naruto panicked, then thought again.

'Kit, you need to tell him. He is your mate and you shouldn't keep secerets between each other. He is going to figure it out eventually anyway.' Kyuubi growled in his head.

' Your right ojiisan. I will tell him', Naruto took a deep breath for encourangement. " Umm, ehehe well you see.."

Kiba stared at Naruto, 'Hmm... maybe he doesnt know? But he said he did so why is he so nervous? Oh no..maybe its Rock Lee...UGH!'

"Kiba, Sasuke is my other mate. But I dont think it is going to work out. We all know how Asexual he is." Naruto grinned nervously.

Kiba stopped thinking at Sasuke is my other mate. 'Oh god.. thats......HOT! woohoo I could live with that. Two realllly hot mates.. mmm I can just think of all the fun we can have." Kiba's mind flew through many of his recent fantasies.

A/n- I know, its been like forever and all that jazz. Unfortunatly life has been throwing me alota loops and then just passing me by without me. What can I say? Anyway I hate this chapter, but I have rewritten it at least a dozen times since my last update and I unfortunatly I just cant seem to get the things I want to happen. Just to let you all know I dont have some written down plan I just kinda wing it, I have a general Idea where I want things to go, a few scences sorta planned out but no actual structure to anything. I just kinda let my hand start typing and my mind wonder where it will and whola theres a chapter.. so I do apoligize for the long stangnat waits between chapters, I need to have inspiration and when I dont, I have nothing to update with.. or like the chapter above a mediocre attempt at literature and imagination.. though some of it is good and what I was sorta looking for it isnt up to what I was hoping this chapter would be. Anyway I dont have a beta so all mistakes are mine, I haven't really had much of a chance to go through to spell check ( since I dont have one I actually have to go trough and proof read my story myself to find misspellings and the likes) and fix said mistakes.

Next chapter I am hoping to throw Sauske into the little Kiba/Naruto action and make this a true threesome between them ^_^
