I personally got a little confused when me and my friend wrote it….I guess…that Iruka had left the room to do something important…um…remember that sentence how is said something like he looked down at Sasuke and stood? The would be most likely when he left…something came up? Eheheh I dunno…gomen ^_^; and I will write the story up…as to how he got there and why he tried to kill Naruto..kay?

Ch.6 Endless

Sasuke's eyes went wide as he grabbed the shirt, stuffing it under the pillow quickly. He sat down on the bed with a small hiss, before pressing his knees against his chest, wrapping his arms around his legs. He fell on his side, his head landing on the pillow. He started at the wall quietly, chewing on his lip.

His thoughts kept going back to what had happened. His cheeks were burning. He was still tired though, and he let sleep claim him.

No one bothered him, till later that night.

"Sasuke?" came a male voice. It was low but loud enough for Sasuke to hear.
Sasuke's eyes snapped open and he looked up, his eyes moving around to find where the voice had come from.

"...Who's there..." he muttered.
Silence.

But after a few minutes they answered.


"It's me....Naruto." he said softly before peeking through the small rectangular peek hole,
his blue eyes peering through.


"I...snuck inside...I'm...I'm going to get you out of here...” he whispered.
Sasuke's eyes went wide, and he sat up quickly. He narrowed his dark brown eyes on him.

"You idiot. Are you crazy?" he hissed at him. Naruto’s eyes held amusement for a moment.

"Heh...maybe..." he whispered, and soon the sound of keys clinging together could be heard. The door opened slowly, the squeaking sound resounding throughout the area.

Naruto looked in and he waved a hand.

"Come on...” he whispered as he stepped out from the door way.
Sasuke crossed his arms over his chest, before standing and following after him slowly, his brows furrowing.

"I don't like this Naruto..." he said, sounding a little uneasy. What if the were caught?

"Don't worry. I took care of everything...” he said before turning to Sasuke with a small smile.

"The cameras...the records...everything." he said before suddenly the sound of the alarm went off.

Naruto flinched eyes wide. "Uh-oh..." he said.
Sasuke frowned at him.

"You idiot..." he said to him. But he felt panic press through him. He turned to the room that he just left from.

"I'm going back to my room..." he muttered half-heartedly.

"I..." Naruto said softly and he looked down at the ground.”Was only trying to help..." he said his face holding sadness before he turned and ran off.

Sasuke looked back at him.

"Ueito Naruto!" he called and he ran out after him.

"Naruto!" he called before he tripped over something. He winced as he crashed to the floor, his head hitting the ground kind of hard. He slowly climbed to his feet, groaning. His head pounded and he stood, holding the side of his head.

Naruto stopped and looked back.

"Sasuke?!" he ran back over to help the Uchiha before he looked up to see the guards rushing towards them.

"Kuso..." he cursed and drew his kunai shoving Sasuke behind him and pulled a cloth over his mask.

It was then that Sasuke noticed Naruto was wearing different clothes, his headband turned inside out, so it was just a blue clothe wrapped around his head covering his blonde hair. He wore all black, a black face mask over his face now except for his blue eyes.

"Sasuke, Go! I'll hold them off!" he said as he held up the kunai.
Sasuke stared at Naruto for a minute, frozen, before his mind started kicking in and he ran off, trying to find the exit. He looked around, almost sliding again because of his socks.

He leaned down and hurriedly pulled them off, before running again, his feet slapping against the cool tiled floor.
There was an explosion, and a scream.

Guards were racing behind Sasuke now. What happened to Naruto? Sasuke’s eyes widened

"STOP!!" yelled a guard.
Sasuke didn't, in fact, he went faster. He activated his Sharingan’s so it could be easier to see.

It was. The lights were dimming on and off however. All the doors were shut. The stairs that led up stairs and downstairs were too his right.

Either way there was always an exit.

But just how many guards would be there?

Sasuke slowed for a minute when the thought came to mind. He hesitated, not sure if he wanted to head to the exit or not.

"Kuso...' he muttered, looking behind him before he looked forward. Fuck it. If he was caught...he'd deal with it if it came to that...

He started running to the direction that the exit was at. He was panting when he reached it. He paused. There were guards….a lot of them.
They weren't dumb.

Sasuke was frozen as they all started towards him slowly.

Naruto came running behind him. "Move!" he said pushed Sasuke out of the way, before throwing a smoke bomb.

Smoke instantly rose into the air and the sound of men yelling and thud sounds could be heard.

The smoke was too thick to see, but someone reached out and grabbed Sasuke and instantly began pulling him.

"Come on!" shouted Naruto's voice as he pulled him.

The exit door was kicked open since it was locked than they were outside.

The outside air hit Sasuke like a pound of bricks.

It was THAT refreshing.

Sasuke let out a gasp, nearly collapsing right there. He felt the wind blow against his face and he closed his eyes enjoying it. His sharingan’s faded from his eyes.

He took in a deep breath. It was much better than the smell of medicine and cleaning fluids.


Naruto looked back at the building than Sasuke,

"Come on Sasuke! Enjoy it later! We have to go!' he barked.

The alarms were still going off.

When Sasuke didn't move fast enough Naruto grabbed Sasuke threw him over a shoulder and booted it.

"Oof!" that had snapped him back into his senses.

Naruto kept going. Till he was at least 3 miles away, he was panting now.

He let Sasuke down and fell on his ass panting.


"Oi...so...tired.." he breathed before falling onto his back, his chest heaving up and down before he pulled down the mask to breathe better.

He gave a little laugh. "Wow...that...was so much fun..!" he said before looking at Sasuke still panting but was smiling before shutting his eyes and sighed.

Sasuke winced a little when he sat down. He looked at Naruto with a soft look before looking away and staring up at the sky. He let out a small sigh.

"Naze...why did you save me...?" he asked him slowly.


"....I don't know." he said before turning onto his side.

"Just...wanted to, I guess..." he said softly.


"Couldn’t stand to see you in there...” he said slowly before yawning softly.


"I don’t know…just don’t ask…at least you’re out now..."
Sasuke nodded his head, smiling faintly.

"Arigatou...' he murmured, lying back on the grass, propping his head on his arms. He shut his eyes taking in the smell of outside.
Naruto yawned before he slowly turned onto his side to face Sasuke.

"...... Sasuke?" he asked softly as he watched the black haired boy.
Sasuke looked over to Naruto.

"..Nani..?" he asked him slowly.

".....I’m....glad you’re...okay now..." he said slowly.

"And sorry for breaking your nose..." he said with a small smile.

He was speaking about the fight that had happened when Sasuke tried killing him. But Naruto knew what was happening...yet still helped him?
Sasuke nodded his head a little before looking confused.

"How could you help me...still knowing what I tried to do to you..?" he asked him slowly.
Naruto watched Sasuke before he looked down at the ground than Sasuke again.

"Because....you’re my friend." he said softly.

"And... what you did... well...I don’t know it’s...hard to explain..." he said.

"But...it’s mainly because Sasuke...I..." he didn't finish his cheeks flushing.
Sasuke looked at him closely, his dark brown eyes watching him.

"You what?" he asked him curiously. He had a feeling that he knew what it was.
Naruto shook his head.

"N-nothing." he said before turning his back of Sasuke.


"Eh...night Sasuke!" he said before giving fake snores as if he were sleeping.


"Zzzz...Zzzz...zzzzz"


Sasuke frowned a little before he sighed, looking back up at the sky and letting the life around them lull him to sleep. If Naruto didn't want to tell him, he wouldn't force him to. He shut his eyes, falling asleep soundly.

A yell tore through the air and tore Sasuke from his sleep.

Yards away, Naruto fell to the ground, cuts covering his body, blood dripping from the wounds.

He clutched his chest in pain and looked up at the figure.

Itachi. He held the blade in his hand.
Sasuke sat up quickly, his eyes widening in shock.

"Nii-san! Iie! Teiryuu!" he screamed, running towards them.
Itachi looked up and over at him.

Naruto coughed and tried moving away only to be stabbed in the knee by the blade to keep him in place.

"AHH!!" screamed Naruto tears falling.

"I said don’t move.' muttered Itachi.

Itachi looked back over to Sasuke.


"Konnichiwa Otouto."
Sasuke looked at Naruto, a pained expression showing on his face. He looked at Itachi with a glare.


"Nani...what are you doing..?" he asked him.
Itachi stared at Sasuke.


"...I said you had 3 days...but he fucked it up..." he said flatly.


"Plus....he thinks he can take you...and I don’t like it."
Sasuke froze. He could practically feel the possessiveness Itachi had for him.

"What...thinks he can...” he went silent before looking to Naruto, his eyes a little wide. He shook the thoughts away.

"If I go back, they'll most likely lock me away and throw away the key..." he stated. He looked to Naruto.

"You didn't have to hurt him...” he started, his eyes narrowing as he looked back to Itachi.

Itachi’s eyes narrowed on Sasuke.


"You are my Otouto-san. No one else will ever put their hands on you except for me." he said to him coldly.
Sasuke shrank away from him, eyes widening. His heart fluttering in his chest.

"You don't own me...” he hissed angrily.

"Oh?" he asked before he yanked the blade from Naruto who jerked in pain.

Itachi turned towards Sasuke now and stepped towards him before he reached over towards Sasuke and grabbed him by the front of his shirt.

"Really now?" he asked.

"I believe I began owning you when you allowed me to fuck you in that office." he hissed.

Naruto's eyes went wide as he looked at the two brothers.


Sasuke gritted his teeth in anger, and his hands reached up, tugging at Itachi's hand, trying to pull away.

"Let me go you bastard...” he growled angrily.
"Iie..' he said flatly before he leaned over clasping his lips over Sasuke’s only to break it and look over at Naruto.

"Get lost now...before I finish the job."

Naruto stared a hurt look in his eyes. ".......Sasuke...you...really...had sex with him?" he asked.
Sasuke looked over at Naruto, his eyes holding sadness.

"...h-..Hai...” he said, his voice cracking.
Naruto's eyes were down cast before he slowly stood and turned running off.

Itachi wasn’t watching."...san...nii...iichi." he counted before he drew a kunai and threw it.

It stuck into Naruto's back.

He jerked with a hack before he collapsed.


Sasuke's eyes went wide.

"Naruto!!" he cried, struggling in Itachi's grasp. He managed to get free and he ran over to Naruto, kneeling at his side.

"...N-Naruto...” he whispered softly, his vision becoming blurry with tears. He looked at Itachi blindly.

"How...How could you do this? I hate you! I hate you so fucking much!!" he screamed.
Itachi just watched, silently.

Naruto twitched and his breathing was uneasy. "S...Sasuke...heh...hehehe...gomenasai."
Sasuke touched his shoulder gently.

"I-I'll get you some help...Shh...' he said softly, finger touching his lips, silencing him. He bent and picked Naruto up. He looked back at Itachi.

"You fucking bastard..." he hissed, Sharingan's narrowing, hate showing in the glowing orbs. He started off towards the hospital.
Itachi watched them go.

Sasuke was going in a fast pace.

Naruto's skin was getting cold, the kunai in his back had cut deep. The entire blade buried in his back.

He stared at Sasuke his skin damp from sweat. "....I’m...so sorry.."
Sasuke hurried.

"Don't you dare die on me Naruto.." he hissed at him. He hurried his pace. The hospital was now in sight. A few blocks perhaps.


"...Onegai...just listen to me.." Naruto said and reached his hand up to clutch Sasuke's shirt.

"What…I was trying to say before...I’m…What…I...I wanted to say was...That...Sasuke...I..." his skin shivered his goose bumps and he moaned tiredly clutching Sasuke's shirt. "I...I love you...and I...I always have..."
Sasuke looked down at Naruto, his eyes softening.

"I know..." he said softly, before looking forward. He sped up a little, but he didn't want to go too fast, and end up hurting Naruto more. He was now at the front of the hospital, rushing.

"Stay with me Naruto..." he whispered. He could practically feel Naruto fading.
Naruto gave a small laugh. "Kyuubi...must hate me...I hear him laughing in my mind...saying how weak I am..but...he doesn’t seem to want to help me this time." he whispered slowly.


Sasuke glanced down at him again. He kicked open the hospital doors.

"Someone please help him!" he called out. Looking around quickly.


People saw and rushed over to help immediately taking Naruto.
Sasuke backed away before exiting the hospital. He didn't want them to realize that he had escaped from the Asylum.

The emblem on his shirt stuck out like a sore thumb. He frowned at it. He would try to visit Naruto when we he could, and he turned away from the hospital, eyes shutting tightly. He then narrowed his eyes at the sky.

"Itachi..." he hissed angrily when the older Uchiha came to mind. He started away from the hospital.


"Hai?" came Itachi's voice from behind Sasuke.
Sasuke stiffened, his shoulders tensing when he heard his brothers voice answer back. He slowly turned, looking at him.

"How could you...how could you do this..?" he asked him tightly, forcing the words out.
Itachi grabbed Sasuke by his arms and pinned them to his side.

"I told you..." he said slowly.


"You. Are. Mine." he said. "And only mine. I won't allow that fool to take you." he muttered.

"You’re alive because I allowed you to stay alive...therefore your life belongs to me."
Sasuke looked up at Itachi with wide eyes. His heart pounded in his chest, his body tingling.

"In that case...you should have killed me with the rest..." he said quietly.
Itachi frowned now, no longer the blank mask.


"...I couldn't." he said flatly to his little brother.
Sasuke looked at him silently, anger burning in his eyes.

"And why is that?" he asked him slowly.


"Because I loved you." Itachi said flatly.


"And I hated to see how they treated you. Ignoring you..always praising me as if some trophy to show off when they should of been giving you that attention."
Sasuke was silent, his eyes a little wide in shock, before they narrowed in anger.

"But you didn't have to kill them!....you took everything from me that night.." he whispered bitterly.


"You still have me." he said.
Sasuke lowered his eyes.

"Let...let me go..." he muttered.

Itachi frowned.


"Iie." he answered.


"Tell me who you want...who do you want in your life...the Kyuubi's container or me."

Sasuke shut his eyes, taking in a shaky breath.

"Why are you asking me this...?" he asked him. How could he ask him such a question? Sasuke felt like he was being pulled in two different directions.


"It shouldn’t be very difficult to answer, Otoutosan...Who do you want more in your life. Naruto? Or me..." he repeated.


"Who do you hold closer to your heart? Who do you love more? Who do YOU want to be with."
Sasuke shuddered, shutting his eyes tightly.

"N-nii-san I..." his words died in his throat. His heart clenched painfully. Why did he have to make this choice? It hurt to do this...


"........" Itachi released Sasuke's shoulders now and he slowly ran his fingers through his brother's hair, bending down and kissing his lips before breaking away.

"Don't bother answering anymore..." he said flatly before he turned and started away.
Sasuke's eyes were wide.

"Ueito nii-san! Onegai shimasu...please don't leave me..." he whispered softly, his voice cracking. Tears slowly leaked out of his eyes.

Itachi slowed his pace and glanced back. "Go with Naruto, Otouto-san. I've caused you too much trouble already." he said flatly as he kept walking.


Sasuke watched him walk away, and he fell to his knees, tears flowing freely. He bowed his head, sobbing quietly.


Itachi didn't come back.

Some time had passed before Sasuke could bring himself enough energy to stand to his feet. He wiped at his now red eyes, sniffing. He turned to the hospital, before heading back in the building. His heart ached as he sat in the waiting room, rubbing his eyes. He waited for a doctor to tell him if Naruto was alright or not.


A doctor came towards him. Sasuke looked up at him.


“How…how is he..?” he asked him slowly. The doctor shook his head.


“Alright…we’ve been able to stop the bleeding. He’s still in a little pain.” the doctor said to him.
Sasuke stood.

"Take me to him..." he said quietly.


"Onegai..." he said.


“Alright…follow me…” the doctor said. Sasuke followed behind him slowly. When they got to the room. Naruto sat in the bed watching outside the window with sad eyes.

He heard the door open and slowly looked over. He gave a weak smile.
Sasuke walked over to him and he pulled up a chair, sitting next to Naruto. His throat tightened a little.

"...how are you feeling..?" he asked.
Naruto looked at Sasuke before smiling.

"Okay I guess." he said slowly before lowering his eyes on the sheets.

"So…do you love him?" he asked Sasuke.
Sasuke lowered his eyes to his lips.

"Hai...I do...demo...I love you as well..." he said.

"....." Naruto looked away now.


"You...can't have us both...." he said softly.


"Just...go to him. You'll ..probably be happier..." he said. "I..saw...everything from up here."


Sasuke looked up at Naruto with a glare.

"I'm getting so tired of it! I'm tired of both of you trying to make me choose the other! You're making me crazy!" he growled angrily. He bowed his head.

"Why can't I be-...you shouldn't have saved me Naruto..." he said.

"You wouldn't be like this now if you wouldn't have..." he said softly.
Naruto looked at him before looking away.

"I...wanted to though...you should know me by now.."


Sasuke smiled faintly.

"Hai...I know you too well...too predictable..." he said softly.

Naruto shut his eyes smiling softly before he looked at the Uchiha.

".....Will…you...stay with me?" he asked.

Sasuke nodded his head slowly.

"Hai...Anything...' he said, and he reached over grasping Naruto's hand, squeezing it firmly.

Naruto smiled more before relaxing against the bed and slowly feel asleep.

Iruka was rushing into the hospital with Kakashi. He had been on his date with the sliver haired man when he heard Naruto had been hospitalized again.


Kakashi had hurried along with Iruka, before he turned towards the front desk


“May I have the room number to Naruto’s room…?” he asked them. The nurse looked down at the papers.


“Room 317….but do be quiet…I believe he resting now..” she said. Iruka was already running down the hall. One nurse frowned.


“You need to walk in these halls, no running..” she said to him. Iruka slowly to a fast walk, which was close to running. Kakashi wasn’t too far away from him.
When they arrived at the room, Iruka pushed open the door and saw Naruto.

"Naruto are you alr-" he saw Sasuke and froze.

Naruto was sleeping.


Sasuke was still sitting at Naruto's bed side, leaned over, resting his head against Naruto's side. His breathing even as he slept soundly. He still held onto Naruto’s hand. Kakashi blinked.

"Well...wadda ya know..." he mused.

Iruka blinked. "How the hell..." he sighed before rubbing his temples.


"I’m not even going to bother asking.." he backed out of the room before taking a deep breath.

Kakashi looked back at Iruka.

"Err...should we just leave them be..?" he asked him, as he too, slowly started backing out of the room.


"Hai..." said Iruka before he leaned against the wall shutting his eyes.


"Great...how in the world am i going to explain this?" he whispered.


Kakashi didn't look like he had an answer.

"...You aren't going to get in trouble, are you?' he asked him curiously.


"I could lose my job..." he cell phone rang and he picked up.


"Hello? Uh-huh....Nani? That's impossib-!...Hai...yes...I understand...thank you." he hung up a look of disbelief on his face.
Kakashi looked confused.

"Nani? What is it?" he asked him curiously.
Iruka looked at Kakashi.


"They said they caught Sasuke..." he said slowly.


"But...Sasuke's here...I...don't get it..." he said slowly.


Kakashi looked thoughtful before his eye widened in slight disbelief.


"He...wouldn't..." he muttered, sounding shocked.
Iruka blinked.


"Who wouldn't.-" he than realized it. Itachi and Sasuke looked exactly alike if you didn't pay CLOSE attention.

He looked at Kakashi. "..he...had to of.."

Kakashi nodded his head.


"But...why I wonder..." he said thoughtfully.

"Me too...Sasuke and Naruto probably know...but just let them rest...we could always go and see him and ask him himself...but.." he shrugged.

'Not in the mood to go to work.." he muttered.


Kakashi nodded his head a little.

"Hai...I think that I'm going to go to bed..." he mumbled.
Iruka blinked before he nodded his head.

"Alright...I'll...see you around than." he said slowly "Jaa nee." he said before he turned himself and started away.
Kakashi waved and he did the teleportation jutsu, appearing next to his bed. He landed in it, falling asleep quickly.


~Earlier.


Itachi was silent as he walked away from Sasuke. He could hear him crying, calling out his name, begging for him to come back, but he bowed his head, not looking back. He kept walking until he reached the Psychiatric Facility.


He had left his cloak behind, deactivating the Sharingan’s to reveal dark brown eyes. He did a hand seal before walking into the building. The guards looked back at him, and next moment they were tackling him to the ground. Itachi didn’t fight them as they surrounded him. A nurse held a needle. Itachi was silent as they forced a straight jacket on him.


‘I did this for you….otouto-san…’ his thoughts becoming muddled as the shot’s liquid entered his system, numbing his body.


Everything went dark.

Itachi had traded places with Sasuke because he wanted Sasuke to be happy.

And Sasuke was happy with Naruto, Naruto was happy with Sasuke.
