Chapter 6: The Truth of Naruto
Chapter Six: Truth of Naruto
A day before the five of them would reach the Sand Village they decided to take a rest. Yamato and Sakura were sitting by the fire while Kakashi, Shizune, and Jiriaya were off on a separate part of the site talking amongst them.
“Captain Yamato what do you think they are talking about”, said Sakura.
“If I had to guess it’s about Naruto. I can only guess that the information they are talking about is known only to them. Even I do not know a lot about Naruto, but they know more about Naruto than he knows about himself”.
The three decided to join Sakura and Yamato by the fire. “Well Sakura I assume you kind of know a little about what we were talking about over there?” said Kakashi.
“All I know is that you were talking about Naruto that is about it”.
“Well then I guess something needs to be done about that. You see Sakura Naruto doesn’t know about his parents, but I think you at least have a right to know about his lineage. Naruto’s father died to save his life, but he also did something special he put the Kyuubi inside of his only son…Ah I see that you realize who his father really is. Yes Naruto’s father is the fourth Hokage” said Jiriaya.
“I had no idea that he is the fourth’s son. How many people actually knew about this?”
“Only those whom were close to the fourth Hokage knew. Jiriaya, Tsunade, Kakashi, and the third Hokage were the only ones who knew that little fact” said Shizune.
“That answers who his father is but what about his mother did she die in childbirth or did she just leave Naruto”, said Sakura.
“Actually Naruto’s mother is very much alive”, said Jiriaya.
Everybody then turned to look at Shizune and Sakura kept looking around until she looked at Shizune. Sakura then broke the silences when she said, “Shizune are you Naruto’s mother?”
“Yes, Sakura I am the mother of Naruto. First let me explain that after Naruto was born my health was deteriorating and that is when Tsunade took me under her wing and trained me as a medical Nin. After Tsunade took me away she explained what had happened and told me that my child would be well taken care of in the village and that the Sandaime (third Hokage) would see that my son was well taken care of”.
“But Naruto was never really taken care of, and everyone shunned him because he had Kyuubi inside of his body. No one wanted to even approach him. Even I did not want to be around Naruto he was after all ‘The Number One Hyperactive Knuckle Head Ninja’. He always the one to get into trouble and even among us at the academy despised him for doing so”.
“Yes but he did eventually grow out of it did he not Sakura” said Kakashi.
“Well he was the one who got tied up when you gave us the bell test” said Sakura.
Shizune walked up to Kakashi and hit him across his face and said “Kakashi how dare you tie my son up wasn’t that a little uncalled for?”
“Hey Shizune don’t you think that was a little much, I mean he was only doing what he though best and he did it the way his jounin probably did to him”.
“Would all of you like to know the real truth? Sarutobi-sensei was the one who developed the bell text and throughout the years the ones who suffered were: me, Yondaime, Kakashi, and Naruto we all were victims of being hung from the post. Kind of ironic if you think about it some of the best ninjas were the ones who were tied to the post in the bell test”, said Jiriaya.
“I can’t believe that the fourth Hokage was subjected to being tied up, like father like son or so they say”, said Sakura.
“Well I think that is enough for tonight we should get some rest, tomorrow we reach the Sand Village, and from their we will meet Naruto and Kyuubi”.
I know that this chapter probably was a little boring, but stick with it the next chapters will get a better so just hang with it for now.
