ItachiCan you possibly get any stranger T.W.

T.W.:You know I can, recall the last time I was sick and on medication?

Itachi:I try not to.

T.W.:Well if you aren't careful with what you ask me you could get a live review.

Itachi and Sai(pale)NO!

T.W.:Then watch what you say. Now I'm gonna reply to...netteA possessive and jealous Uchiha is one of my favorite things in this world. Hmm I wonder if the 'My Favorite Things' song could be rewritten for yaoi fans like myself.

Chapter 6 Advice

Naruto knocked on Iruka's door and waited for it to open. A few minutes passed with no answer so Naruto knocked again. Iruka's voice yelled, "Coming!"
There was a loud crash from inside the apartment, making Naruto worry that mybe his sensei had fallen and hurt himself. Before Naruto could decide whether or not to break down the door, it opened revaling a very disheveled Iruka.

"Naruto?"

"Iruka-sensei you okay?"

"Of course I am. Why do you ask?"

"Well it took a long time for you to answer the door and I heard a huge crash so I thought you might have fallen and hurt yourself."

Iruka blushed as he led Naruto into the living room, "Oh. I'm fine. I was just about to take a shower and get dressed."

"Well that explains why your hair is down and why your clothes are inside out, but what about the crash?"

Iruka's face was beet red by now, "I knocked something over. So what brings you here?"

"I need some advice and I'd rather ask you than Baa-chan, Kakashi-sensei, or ero-sennin."

"Why not any of them?"

"Kakashi-sensei and ero-sennin are too pervy and Baa-chan's way too overprotective."

Iruka nodded his understanding, "Okay, what's the problem?"

Naruto told Iruka everything that had happened since he'd told Sasuke why he'd worn the orange jumpsuit, ending with, "I'm sure he's serious now but what about his dream of restoring his clan? He can't do that with me and I worried he'll grow to resent that, to resent me."

Iruka blew out an uneasy breath. He wasn't sure how to help Naruto with this one, "Well Naruto-"

"Perhaps I can help," Kakashi said from the bedroom doorway. Iruka jumped up yelling, "I told you to stay in the bedroom, I even tied you up with chakra enforced ropes! How the hell did you get out?"

Kakashi's eye curved as he walked over to Iruka, draped an arm across the blushing chunin's shoulders, and kissed him on the cheek, "Well 'Ruka, I am Hatake Kakashi, genius ninja extraordinare. Chakra enforced ropes are childsplay for me."

Iruka shoved Kakashi off, then looked at Naruto, whose eyes and mouth were so wide he resembled his frog coin purse, "Iruka-sensei, you and Kakashi-sensei are, um involved?"

Kakashi smiled, "That's right Naruto. Now I heard about your problem through the bedroom door and decided to give you some advice, even though you didn't come straight to me with this."

Naruto held up his hand, "Whoa, wait a second. Is this completely perv-free advice?"

"Of course it is. Now listen, I'm sure Sasuke has already considered the consequences of persuing you and has accepted them. If you're worried that he hasn't, ask him about it."

"And what about Konoha's council? They're not going to be happy about this."

Iruka sat next to Naruto patting his shoulder comfortingly and glaring at Kakashi as if saying 'well what now genius. Kakashi sighed, "The council can be delt with later and if they get really pissy about the lack of Uchiha heirs, there is always artifical insemination."

Naruto brought a hand up to his temple to ease the headache he now had. Kakashi winced seeing that his advice hadn't helped very much. He crouched in front of Naruto, "Naruto you have the support of the entire Rookie 9, Team Guy, the Sarutobi clan, every single genin and academy student in Konoha, several ANBU, the Hokage herself, the Legendary Toad Hermit, the entire Hyuga clan, and of course you have Iruka and me. If the council tries to pull something I;m sure we can kick some sense into them."

Naruto grinned, "Thanks Kakashi-sensei. That does help. You know, I bet Gaara and his siblings would help too."

Iruka chuckled, "That would get the council to change their mind in an instant."

Naruto laughed as he got up to leave, "Yeah, I guess being friends with the Kazekage has more advantages than I tohught. Thanks for the advice Kakashi-sensei."

"Oh happy to help. By the way the new outfit looks good."

"Thanks. Oh yeah, Kakashi-sensei," Naruto paused at the front door.

"Yes Naruto?"

"If you ever hurt Iruka-sensei, I'll let Kyuubi out to go balistic on your ass. Bye," and with that Naruto left.

Kakashi blinked in surprise, "I believe he would let Kyuubi out to tear me to shreds."

Iruka pulled Kakashi's mask down to kiss him, "Yes he would, but only if you hurt me. You know, I was worried that you'd only confuse Naruto further but you helped more than I would have been able to. Thank you 'Kashi," Iruka stripped Kakashi's pants off, "Now, where were we before Naruto interupted."
Kakashi grinned as Iruka picked up where he'd left off.

Naruto arrived at the bridge the next morning before anyone else wearing one of the outfits that Sakura had picked out. A pair of light blue jeans and a black sleeveless shirt that read, 'Silent but Deadly'. He'd come early so he could talk to sasuke about the consequences of persuing him.

Kit that perverted sensei of your is right. The Uchiha brat's probably already considered everything.

'You calling Kakashi-sensei perverted is like Shikamaru calling Tsunade lazy, and I need to know that Sasuke has considered everything.'

Fine but you know there are other ways around this little problem.

'What are you talking about?'

Don't worry about it for now kit.

'Kyuubi, what are you scheming?'

Nothing. Now pay attention, the Uchiha brat is here.

'Damn fox.'

Naruto looked at Sasuke as he walked towards him.

"You're here early dobe."

"I wanted to talk to you."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow, "So talk."

"Do you remember when Kakashi-sensei asked us what our dreams were that first day as a team?"

"Of course I do."

"Well you said you wanted to restore your clan, but now you say you want me. You can't restore your clan with me and I don't think I could survive it if you made me fall for you then resented me for my inability to help you restore your clan. Also the council wouldn't be happy about it. Wanting me, choosing to be with me, has consequences and I don't know if you've considered the possible repercussions."

Sasuke came within an inch of smacking Naruto silly but managed to restrain himself. He grabbed Naruto's Shoulders in a tight grip, making the blond look at him.

"Listen to me because I'm not going to repeat myself. I've wanted you since the Valley of the End. The entire time I was with Orochimaru, I thought about the consequences of persuing you. After I came back, I considered everything and I decided that you are more important to me than restoring the Uchiha clan ever was. I will never resent you. As for the council, they can go to hell. You are what I want. You are all that I will ever want, nothing else matters to me, and I'll walk through hell to be with you. Never doubt that."

Naruto closed his eyes and stepped forward to wrap his arms around Sasuke's waist and bury his face in his chest muttering an apology. Sasuke held him closely, "Don't apologize, I understand why you asked."

Naruto started shaking as silent tears of relief leaked out of his closed eyes. Sasuke's arms tightened and he buried his face in Naruto's hair.

After a while Naruto calmed down and looked up at Sasuke. The Uchiha wiped away the tear tracks and gently kissed the blond. Suddenly he pulled away and let Naruto go, "Sakura's almost here."

Sakura appeared a short time later and walked up to them, "Good morning."

"Good morning Sakura-chan."

"Hn."

"So Naruto how was your day yesterday?"

He smiled, "Good, it was the best day I've had in a long time."

Sakura beamed, happy that yesterday had been so good for Naruto. Sasuke smirked and whispered so that only Naruto could hear him, "It's only going to get better dobe."

"Sasuke-kun, what did you say?"

"Nothing."

"But I saw y-Naruto are you hurt?!"

Naruto blinked at Sakura's sudden outburst, "Huh?"

"Your neck is bruised," Sakura pulled his collar out of the way to inspect the 'bruise'; she frowned, "Wait is this...this is a hickie!"

Naruto blushed. 'What? That's still there? Kyu why isn't my neck healed?'

Because I refuse to heal the little love marks Uchiha leaves on you.

'What!'

I want to watch you try to explain the hickies to all the people who will be asking.

'You suck big time.'

Sakura waved her hand in front of Naruto's face to get his attention.

"Huh? What is it Sakura-chan?"

"I said, who gave you the hickie?"

"Uh why is that important?"

"Because I want to know who your girlfriend is baka!"

Naruto squirmed and tried to distract Sakura in vain. Finally he sighed, "All I'm going to say is that it's not a girlfriend."

"Naruto that is definately a hickie and I know that you couldn't give yourself that hickie, so if you don't have a girlfriend how'd you get a-Oh. Oooh," she giggled, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone you have a boyfriend."

Naruto rubbed his hands over his face. then they heard a poof, Kakashi had shown up, late as usual. Naruto, keeping to tradition, yelled, "You're late!"

"Sorry, I was distracted by a cute little dolphin."

Naruto nearly died trying not to laugh at the new excuse. 'Well technically hes'not lying.' Kakashi pulled out a mission scroll, "We have a short C-rank mission. We have to escort Lady Shijimi to her sister's house. It should be a three hour round trip."

The three jonin nodded their understanding and Team Kakashi left to start their mission.
