"What have you done with Gaara?" Naruto asked.
"Nothing." Tsundora said. "Well, nothing much. I've taken his place since he was old enough to have a personality change." He smirked. "This body is of blood relation with Sunahara's. He was a child even more driven by fear that he handed me his very soul to free himself from the burden of this world."
"That is sick!" Sakura cried. "You're evil!"
"In my eyes I am just." Tsundora said. "The tailed beasts are an abomination that should not exist. Where they go, chaos follows. We have to tidy up their mess, we have to set things right."
"Not all chaos is bad." Kakashi said. "Some things only happen because of chaos. I met Iruka through Naruto. Pain in the ass though he is, I would never change anything about him. Chaos also keeps life interesting, even disorder has order inside it. You move against things moving on, you want to keep things static, and that will make things stagnate. When things stagnate, they die."
"Chaos kills more than it saves. You wouldn't understand." Tsundora said. "Without order, there can be no life. How many have died because of the sea or the winds? Chaos destroys all order has accomplished!"
A moment later and Tsundora's attention was snagged by something moving out of the corner of his eye and sent a spray of sand towards it. "So your secret player has appeared." He said, a blast of sand throwing Jiraiya against a wall. He smirked. "You cannot blindside me." He had the sand throw Jiraiya to the other ninjas. The sand then formed a barrier around all the ninjas. "I am sorry that normal humans have gotten involved in this, however if you get involved into our affairs then you deserve all you get." Tsundora said. Orochimaru, Kakashi, Jiraiya and Naruto looked at each other before all three summoned their beasts of choice.
Soon the bodies of the summons filled the room, and they all attacked the one-headed beast. The creature smirked as he fought against them all. It was then that Kurama reached into his hair, removing a single seed. ‘Please, give me just one opening.’ Kurama thought. ‘A small opening is all I need.’ His eyes narrowed, before he saw the opening that he needed. Using Youko Kurama’s speed, Kurama got close enough to throw the seed at Tsundora, however the seed was blocked by sand, which formed a dome around Tsundora. “Damn it.” Kurama growled. Only then did he realise which seed his hand had removed. ‘This better work.’ He thought as he concentrated his youki.
‘It should, Shuichi,’ Youko said. ‘It is a desert plant of the demon realm. Why do you think that I influenced you to take it?’ Kurama gave a slight, visible, nod. He allowed his youki to flood to the small seed, making it take root in the shielding sand. The youki made the seed sprout into a seedling, and then quickly into a plant, whose roots started to spread through the sand, holding it into an unmovable wall. The move surprised Tsundora, who was held within its own prison.
Kurama looked sad, knowing that now that the plant had its grips on the sand, that its roots would seek out the warm blood as it did to sand-burrowing demons in its native desert habitat. It used fresh blood as most plants used water. He used more youki to encourage it to attack its prisoner. He knew that if the headed beast didn’t escape then it would end up dead. Desert plants were voracious killers when they sensed anything that they desired, in this case demonic blood. It was a scream that alerted Kurama to the fate of the beast. The green eyes closed as Kurama announced his fate. “He will soon be dead, nothing survives against one of them. It’s hard to collect such a plant, but harder to use it. It will only grow on a sandy surface, something that I learned the hard way. Tsundora is dead.”
The scream suddenly stopped, the sand crumbling, leaving the plant stuck into the unfortunate beast, a beautiful, blood red flower blooming on the plant. “Such a beautiful flower.” Shizune said, reaching out to touch the petals. Kurama grabbed her wrist before she could do so. “Why did you stop me?” She asked.
“You’d end up just like him.” Kurama said. “The plant is demonic in origin, it captures its first prey like it caught that beast, after that it waits for its next meal to come along, attracted by its beautiful flowers. Once they have attracted its next meal then the cycle begins all over again. Come on, Shizune-san, we have Tsunade to save and two other demons to kill.”
“”It looks like we are the only ones left alive, Shitabininaru.” Uwabame said. “What shall we do?”
“We need to defeat them, and quickly. We cannot allow them both to attack us one at a time, and we need to make sure that they cannot attack us with all the others together. We need to keep the other fights between us and the them.” She looked at the captives. “Sabaku no Gaara, Tsunade-hime, we shall be back later, have no fear on that.” She walked towards the exit to the room, Uwabame following her, giving a toothy grin to the captives before a playful wave over her shoulder.
It didn’t take long for the two groups to meet up. Almost immediately Kurama, Hiei and Yusuke formed a barrier between Seiryoku and Mamushi and their hosts. “What’s the matter, Seiryoku, Mamushi, are you so weak that you require protection?” Uwabame hissed. “Are you so afraid of us that you need so many to fight us?”
“Mamushi, take that ‘sister’ of yours. I intend on knocking some sense into Shitabininaru for all the problems that she has caused us.” Seiryoku growled. “She will fall before me.”
“Naruto-kun, will you allow him to kill me?” Shitabininaru asked as she moved forward quickly, gripping Naruto’s chin and ignoring the stinging chakra of the Kyuubi. “Will you allow him to kill your own mother?” She smirked when she heard the boy gasp, and it wasn’t just Naruto. The room was now eerily quiet. “My poor boy, look at what has happened. I should never have remained amongst humans when I was carrying you, but I loved Arashi, your father, too much to leave him. Then he sacrificed himself to destroy Seiryoku, or so many thought. Instead he sealed him inside my only child. I couldn’t stay after he did that. Now you bring Seiryoku to me, thank you, my son.”
“Naruto don’t listen to her!” Seiryoku snarled. “She is a liar, and I don’t think that she could possibly be your mother, you don’t possess any of her notorious nature.”
“No, instead you would claim him as your offspring? You have influenced him since his birth, he has adopted your personality as his.” Shitabininaru said. “You have stolen my child away from me.”
“Save the crocodile tears. You could have raised the child up to be conflicting with me, instead you chose to run. Why did you do that, you scheming vixen? You abandoned your own son to complete strangers, knowing that not even the child’s father was there to raise him.” Seiryoku snapped. “It was on the kindness of strangers that he was brought up, by one stranger in particular. Only one in a large village would protect an innocent child, a child abandoned by its parents, one to the afterlife and the other just up and left the moment that he was born.” The two demons fought over Naruto’s body, each trying to win over the mind of the young man to their cause. Mamushi took a step forward.
“This fight is between them, Mamushi.” Uwabame said as she kicked the other snake demon away from the kitsunes. “We have our own fight, viper.” The two snakes faced off against each other. The eight headed demon showing her true form, each head snapping at Mamushi’s host. Mamushi relying on Orochimaru’s natural agility to avoid all the attacks. Once given the chance, Orochimaru regurgitated up the Kusanagi. The other demon saw it. “Mine!”
Orochimaru felt Mamushi recede in his mind and instead he took over. ‘Good luck.’ Mamushi sent to his other half.
'Thanks, but I don’t need it.’ Orochimaru said in reply. “Come on then, snake.” Orochimaru said as he moved the Kusanagi in readiness. “You’ll die by my hand, at the point of your own sword.” The snake gave another roar as it attacked, and then it was one head less. “I have been practicing with the sword, I know exactly what this is made from, it’s the fangs that you gave up to get your name. It’s ironic, you’re going to die by your own fangs.” The pair faced off.
'Naruto!' Seiryoku shouted as he saw Shitabininaru's form change into a large, nine-headed, golden fox.
"Come to me, Naruto." Shitabininaru said, watching as the boy approached her. "Come to your mother." A trickle of drool dropped from one of the heads. "Good boy." She didn't notice the ball of chakra in Naruto's hand until it connected with her flesh, causing a lot of damage.
"No mother would demand her son to sacrifice himself." Naruto said as the fox screamed in agony. "You may have given birth to me, but you are not my mother!" The young man formed yet another ball of chakra, knowing that the healing abilities of the strongest beasts. The second ball was forced against the healing wound, this time Naruto could feel and hear the ribs cracking as the swiring mass of chakra did its job, and the moment that the sphere disappeared, Naruto reached into the body and gripped the heart.
"Stop!" Shitabininaru shouted as Naruto's nails turned into claws. She new exactly what he was going to do. "Please don't!" A moment later and the clawed hand ripped the large heart out of the body, killing the large creature as the only thing that it could not regenerate was its heart.
Distracted by the death of the strongest and second to last of the headed beasts, Uwabame was easily finished off. Orochimaru panted as the Kusanagi slid easily between the snake's ribs into the heart, killing the last of the beasts.
Suddenly a portal seemed to materialise out of nowhere and Kurama approached it curiously. When he realised what he was seeing, he grabbed Orochimaru's hand as though it was a comforting aide, his other hand covered his mouth as his eyes went wide. Kurama recognised what lay on the other side of the portal...
