House Rules/Joy and Pain - VI

*warning! there be painful and dark content/sex in these here waters! nothing too bad but i felt i should warn you. enjoy?*

================================================================================

The house they pulled up in front of, while not as big as the Uchiha townhouse, was much more grand, from the outside. Sasuke gaped at the intricate stonework on the building's facade, the third floor balconies carved meticulously, jutting out of the building and lit just right, so that they sparkled slightly. At least it looked that way to Sasuke. The boy was silent as he was ushered up into the house, Naruto leading him firmly by one arm.

He had sobered up a great deal at this point, and he no longer needed that kind of help. It was almost an affront to his dignity to let another boy help hold him up, but he found he liked the contact too much to bring his renewed abilities to light. He just followed quietly, letting Naruto help him off with his jacket in the foyer, and leading him up two flights of stairs, and into a small but richly appointed bedroom.

It was a little bit glitzy for Sasuke's taste, but he shrugged it off, though his nervousness reemerged as he seated himself on the edge of the obscenely large bed. He watched as Naruto sauntered over to Kakashi, peeling the man's mask off with a practiced ease, leaning in to kiss those lips. Sasuke watched, hypnotized.

X

Sasuke hadn't actually gotten any sleep that night. Kakashi had left at some point, when he'd had enough, and Naruto had been tired then. Sasuke had lain there most of the night, the warmth of the blond nestled close to him, thinking. Naruto had a propensity for snuggling, something Sasuke found he had as well, but only with Itachi. He smiled though, as Naruto's sleeping breath fanned out across the sensitive skin of his neck, making him shiver lightly.

The night had been surreal, both out of his control and completely and totally controllable. There had been some rules, Naruto had set them up, basically stating that Sasuke's ass was off limits, and the boy was relieved by this. He knew that it could feel good down there, Itachi had shown him that, but he was still skeptical about it all in a way. That didn't mean he wasn't a participating member of the group, though he did get the feeling that Naruto wanted to stay between him and Kakashi most of the time.

Sasuke had still managed to suck the man's cock at one point, something he was getting better at with each snippet of practice. He'd still gagged, and gotten frustrated, but he'd done all that he could to make up for it. Kakashi had come, but Sasuke guessed it was another one of those rules because the man had pulled out first, spraying onto the bed instead of inside Sasuke's mouth.

After Kakashi had left, Naruto and Sasuke had taken a shower too, quick and hot, together. It had been more exciting for Sasuke to do that than anything else he'd done that night. He had washed Naruto's back, and helped the boy to get all of the cum out of his ass, with excited wiggling fingers, his hands shaking a little. The blond had been a little bit sore and stiff by the end, and Sasuke had wanted to help as much as he could. The maids had changed the sheets while they were in the shower, and the two of them tumbled into the clean bed in the end, Naruto snuggling up and falling asleep almost immediately.

Sasuke had tried, but with so many new things happening all at once, so much to think about, he just couldn't drift off. He settled for enjoying the feeling of the blond meshed to his side, the gentle rise and fall of the boy's chest and the little twitching movements he would make every once and awhile. It was enough to keep his mind off of other matters at least, and, despite the lack of sleep, he found it quite relaxing.

X

Itachi was furious. He'd expected Sasuke to come up to his room at some point, after the festivities, and he'd been disappointed and vaguely annoyed when the boy hadn't shown up. When he still hadn't seen Sasuke by the morning though, he started to worry, and had the maids check his bedroom, then the rest of the bedrooms, and soon the whole house was being turned upside down. There was no sign of his brother though.

Itachi cursed the staff for not keeping an eye on the kid, he cursed Shisui for not finding the boy when he'd asked, but in the end, when the heat of his anger had boiled down he found himself with most of the blame, at least in his own mind. If he'd been there then maybe he could have kept track of the boy on his own, if his stupid pride hadn't gotten in the way then he could have found the boy last night, and brought him upstairs to his own bed. At least he'd know where Sasuke was then.

He felt the nervous burning in his chest, the nauseous taste in his throat as worry churned his stomach. Sasuke could be anywhere, he'd seen the boy briefly, knocking back those drinks, and if he drank a little too much, he could be lying in a ditch somewhere, or he could be hurt, delirious in some hospital.

Itachi couldn't take this much longer, and sent Shisui out to do some serious searching outside of the house. He told himself that Sasuke was an Uchiha, he was strong enough to look out for himself, but he still couldn't stop thinking of Sasuke as his poor, defenseless, baby brother.

X

Sasuke relaxed into his chair, his stomach full and his body warm. Naruto looked across the table at him, smiling slightly. Kakashi had been down here eating when they had gotten up, tumbling down the stairs together. Sasuke had been smiling, Naruto giggling into his shoulder as they had some stupid yet funny conversation. Kakashi had smiled at them again, pulling his mask back up. He'd let them order breakfast from one of the maids and the meal had been good.

Sasuke pushed his plate back, stuffed to the seams with delicious food. Naruto sighed, glancing at the clock. He had to go back to the house soon, back to his stupid job and his apartment, empty for the weekend. Gaara was away visiting his family. While Naruto enjoyed sleeping by himself, it was a welcome break, when he was all alone in the apartment he always just ended up feeling lonely, depressed.

Still, he had some more appointments today, and he really did need the money, despite the high paycheck Kakashi had left for him, the envelope of cash on the bedside table. He'd counted it. Twice. The man had left him a little extra, and he was embarrassed by that, not sure if it was some kind of charity from Kakashi or some sort of sick thank you for bringing Sasuke with him.

Naruto had been reluctant to go over to Sasuke at that party, he'd wanted to so badly, he could see the pain in the boy's eyes, but he'd also seen the way Kakashi had been looking at the younger Uchiha. Kakashi was a pervert, when it came down to it, and Naruto had been worried about what he might do to the boy, especially where Sasuke was so new to this, almost innocent. He mostly just wanted none of Sasuke's budding sexual experiences to be tainted that way, but there was also a selfish part of him that didn't want to share. He knew that Sasuke and Itachi had something, he could see it in the sad way Sasuke had watched his brother ignore him last night, but one person was enough for him.

He stood up then, pushing his chair back from the table with a loud squeak. He winced, but Sasuke just smiled, getting up as well, and walking over to wrap his arms around the blond, albeit a little awkwardly. Naruto relaxed at this.

"Hey... uh Sasuke, I have to go soon, I have another appointment, but maybe we could see each other again later? I know you're probably gonna be busy, and it's cool if you are, but maybe we could catch dinner or something?" He blushed looking away. Sasuke pulled back a little, and Naruto tensed for the expected rejection. Sasuke was smiling cooly though, and the boy's hand stroked his cheek tenderly.

"Alright, if you want to. I'll take note of it, not make any big plans. Send word over if you're free, or just drop by. You remember how to get there, right?" Naruto nodded. He didn't think he could ever forget going over there that first time, as preoccupied and nervous as he was it was still clear in his mind. He smiled.

"Yeah, I think I will."

X

Sasuke stepped down from the carriage, there had been one waiting outside of Kakashi's house for them. Sasuke had been a bit impressed, figuring he'd have to call one himself. Naruto told him Kakashi always left one though, the man was thoughtful like that. Sasuke had smiled.

Not even arriving at Naruto's rather sketchy place of employment and residence could ruin his mood. Naruto had convinced him to come in for a cup of tea or something, it was still a good half hour until his appointment and since he'd already showered and everything there wasn't much for him to do. He followed Naruto in a small side entrance, and up a faintly familiar set of stairs. They went past the room Sasuke remembered waiting in though, past the floor of rooms where they'd spent the night, up through a rather dark, shabbier looking hallway. Naruto slipped a key from his pocket, old and tarnished looking, and opened a door.

Sasuke was a bit disappointed at the boy's quarters, they were dingier than anyplace the Uchiha had ever stayed. He didn't say anything though, suddenly afraid if he said something it might drive the blond away, embarrass him somehow. He just smiled. Naruto disappeared behind one of the three shabby looking doors, emerging again a minute later bare chested. The sight stopped Sasuke in his tracks. He liked to admire the boy's tanned skin, and he almost groaned in disappointment when a fresh white shirt covered the planes of the boy's chest over once again.

Sasuke watched Naruto put the kettle onto the one burner on their little stove, lighting the flame under it carefully with a match. The blond opened another one of the doors and Sasuke glimpsed another bed inside. He glanced up at the boy questioningly when he returned with a tin of tea, blushing slightly.

"Sorry, I forgot that Gaara keeps the good tea in there. My roommate." Naruto's blush deepened a little at the mention of his sometimes lover, and Sasuke's eyebrow went up, a jealous tinge rising in his chest.

"You have a roommate? Is he in the same ... profession?" Naruto nodded as he busied himself with a chipped white porcelain teapot, carefully spooning in a measured amount of leaves before closing the tin again.

"Yes. I think you met him on your last visit here. He's a red-head, a bit cold, no real social skills?" Sasuke smiled a little, the joking tone in Naruto's voice setting him at ease.

"I remember him. Are the two of you close?" Naruto caught the worried edge in Sasuke's voice and it made him bite his lip in indecision. In the end though, he chose to ignore the implication.

"As close as anyone could be to Gaara I guess. He doesn't do interpersonal relationships that well. It actually suits him, in this profession, he doesn't get attached." The rest of the visit went quickly, but smoothly. Sasuke managed to keep the conversation light, and he couldn't believe how funny Naruto could be at times. It was too soon when Naruto had to leave, but Sasuke put on a smile and got up, rinsing his cup out in the small sink without being asked. Naruto showed him to the door downstairs with a smile, and he waved as he stepped out into the restaurant. He had wanted to kiss Naruto goodbye then, suddenly, but the thought only served to make him nervous, and they were back in public no less.

He was about to step up to the bar and see if he could call home from here when his arm was grabbed in an iron grip. He winced in pain, and he started to curse out whoever dared to manhandle him like that, but the protest died on his lips. It was Shisui, but they boy's normal calm assurance was gone. There was desperation and anger in his eyes now, and Sasuke found himself a bit afraid of it.

"Sasuke! Where the fuck have you been, Itachi is so fucking pissed right now, and worried out of his mind. You disappeared last night, didn't come home at all, and didn't send word of where you were either. I'm not sure Itachi slept a wink, and it's all your fault. If I were you I'd start coming up with a really good excuse now, though I'm not sure it will do you much good." Sasuke winced as Shisui dragged him out, and into the carriage waiting outside.

X

Sasuke had been worried the whole way home, his stomach sinking and flipping, making him nauseous. He hadn't even thought about Itachi after he left yesterday, about how much his brother might worry about him. A sick little part of him was glad, because it meant his brother did care, but much much more of him was worried that Itachi might not care anymore, might decide he was too much work and move on.

When they'd gotten home Shisui had ran right inside, and dragged him straight to Itachi's study, where the boy sat brooding. Itachi started when Shisui busted into the room, and relief flashed across his features quickly when he saw Sasuke in tow, safe and whole. It was short lived though, and that face was quickly steeled into a cold mask that Sasuke didn't like at all. Itachi dismissed Shisui with a wave of his hand, not speaking a word until the older boy's footsteps could no longer be heard down the hallway. Sasuke wanted to run to his brother, cry his eyes out, tell him how sorry he was, but he made himself stay still, at least until Itachi had spoken.

"Sasuke." His name sounded cold in Itachi's mouth, and his chest hurt at the sound of it. He stared at his shoes, feeling his eyes grow wet. "Sasuke, what the FUCK were you thinking? Where the FUCK have you been all this time?" Itachi's eyes were cold, anger burning in their depths, but ice covering that glare. Sasuke bit his lip, not sure how to answer. Shisui had told Itachi where he found Sasuke, after all.

"Aniki, I..." Itachi cut him off, their eyes locking as Sasuke looked up. He felt his blood run cold at that look.

"Shut up Sasuke, I know where you were, you fucking slut. I was up all goddamn night worrying about you and you were at a goddamn fucking whorehouse?" Sasuke bit his lip, caught between wanting to tell Itachi the truth and not wanting to interrupt and make the situation worse. Itachi sighed, turning away and rubbing his temple with one hand. Something in Sasuke broke then, and he found himself crying harder than he ever remembered crying before, rushing up to grab his brother around the waist, burying his head in Itachi's shirt as he mumbled apologies, and promises to never, ever, ever do it again.

Itachi pushed him away though, and Sasuke fell to the floor in his shock. He couldn't find the energy to get up then, and he just sobbed, laying there on his back. He screwed his eyes shut against the tears, against that horrible hollow look in Itachi's eyes. He couldn't take this, nothing was worth that look.

He started babbling apologies again, interlaced with explanations about Naruto and the party, but no sooner than Hatake Kakashi had come out of his mouth Itachi was by his side, one hand twisted cruelly in his hair, wrenching his head up and forcing Sasuke to look at him.

"What?" The word was so burning with cold emotion that Sasuke winced, though that could also have been the accompanying twist of the hand holding his hair entirely too tight.

"aaaah, Hatake Kakashi, he's one of Naruto's patrons. He took us home with him, because I was drunk and Naruto was worried. He just... AAHH!!" Another twist of that hand cut him off, and he could feel the tears streaming hot down his cheeks again.

"Did he touch you, Sasuke?" The words held a barely contained rage, something Sasuke suspected he never wanted to see unleashed. He couldn't lie to his brother though, not now. He still felt he might be able to redeem himself here, and if not then maybe he deserved this, and Itachi could somehow offer him some sort of penance, burn that shameful deed from his soul now.

"Yes..." He whimpered the word, low and pitiful. "Not like you though, Aniki. I didn't let him inside, Naruto wouldn't allow it. It was only once I swear, and I was drunk. I just wanted you to see me, but you were with someone else and I..." A rough slap to his cheek shut him up, and the stinging pain lingered across his skin, leaving him stunned. Itachi's hand loosened in his hair, and Sasuke felt his face burning with shock and shame. He turned over, squirming until he could hide his face in his arms beneath him. He didn't want to have to look at Itachi, not when he'd done so much to hurt his brother. Itachi pulled his head up again, straddling his back now he leaned in to Sasuke's ear.

"Don't you dare try and blame me, Sasuke. You were the one who ran off with some other man, and some common whore, when I was just trying to throw you a nice party." Sasuke shook his head a little.

"Please, please, Aniki no. It's not like that, it just hurt, and I didn't know what to do. I did something bad, I know I did, just don't leave me now, gods Aniki don't leave me." He was blabbering on now and he didn't care, all he wanted was for Itachi to know how much he regretted everything, how much he wanted Itachi to forgive him, give him another chance. Itachi leaned in again, and harshly bit at his neck to shut him up. Sasuke hissed with the sharp pain of the bite, but leaned into it, bearing his neck to his brother, showing Itachi how much he wanted this, how he knew his Aniki was right, like he always was.

Itachi sat up quickly, dragging Sasuke with him, slamming the boy down onto the desk before he knew what was going on. Sasuke sat there in a daze for a second before Itachi was ripping at his shirt, tearing the cloth under his hands. Sasuke thought blankly that he'd need another one before Itachi's next party, but his brother's mouth nipping at his neck again distracted him. He was so happy, his Aniki was touching him again! Itachi's breath was hot in his ear then.

"I can tell your sorry, Otouto. You didn't really mean it. I still have to make you mine again though, you know that right? You're covered in him now, and I have to get you clean." Itachi bit into his flesh again, and Sasuke flinched a little at the pain, but at the same time it felt good, good because it was Itachi, his brother's hands on him again when he'd thought that maybe he'd never touch him, not after that. He moaned, letting his hands raise to fumble with Itachi's shirt tentatively. The older boy growled, the sound almost feral, and pulled back, ripping the shirt over his head and off, letting their bare skin touch.

The contact sent shivered through Sasuke, and he moaned again, wrapping his arms around his brother's neck and letting his thighs wrap around his brother's waist, holding Itachi close and not wanting to let him go ever again. Itachi pressed him back though, unwrapping those legs and Sasuke panicked, thinking Itachi had changed his mind and felt himself crying again, desperately spouting nonsense, begging Itachi not to leave him. The older boy smiled, swallowing Sasuke's lips with his own for the first time since he'd gotten home. This seemed to relax Sasuke a bit, and Itachi still whispered sweet little nothings against them as he pulled the boy's pants off, ripping them as well in the process, but neither of them cared then, neither thinking that far ahead. They focused on now, Sasuke hissing slightly again as Itachi rubbed his erection slightly as the boy pulled the fabric away, settling them back together quickly.

Sasuke felt his brother's cock then, hard inside the boy's pants, and something inside him swelled with pride. Itachi still liked him, at least enough to want him this way. He bucked up into his brother's hardness slightly, moaning at the friction this caused. Itachi's fingers were digging tightly into his hips then, pulling him forwards until the edge of the desk bit into his lower back as his ass hung out over the edge, the only thing keeping him from tilting over was the death grip his legs had around his brother's hips.

He reached up, his hands scrabbling on Itachi's back, his arms wrapping around the boy's neck, pulling himself up to meet Itachi, to nuzzle his face into the crook of his brother's neck until all he could breath was Itachi's smell, sharpened now by sweat and arousal. Sasuke bucked himself up, rubbing his naked crotch against his brother's clothed one.

He felt Itachi's moan under his cheek, answering his own, and all of a sudden his hold was broken, he was flat out on his back and dazed, his hips hoisted higher, hovering over the top of the desk as Itachi lined his erection up with Sasuke's hole. Sasuke swallowed hard. He knew that it would hurt, but he knew that he probably deserved it. Still, he forced himself to relax, and that coupled with Itachi's slow entry, calmed the pain down to a manageable amount.

Sasuke never lost his erection, even through the pain, due completely to just how bad he really did want his brother then, how relieved he was that Itachi didn't want to just cast him aside. He'd been so bad, getting drunk, sneaking off with other men, not coming home, not even telling anyone where he went, making Itachi worry about him. The thought of that made his heart swell and ache, all at once.

He didn't want to make his brother hurt, but the fact that he meant enough made it perfect in his mind. And now Itachi was returning that hurt to him, through his ass, as he picked up speed, his movements getting faster, harder, more desperate. Sasuke's body sung then, and his mouth hung open, each thrust into him drawing a desperate little cry from his lips. Soon he was coming, and it startled him, sneaking up until it exploded and he felt like everything bad from the last few days left him then, in that explosion.

Itachi pulled out of him at the last second, dropping Sasuke to the desk with a loud thud, jerking his cock quickly and splashing his cum across the boy's pale chest. Sasuke moaned, the feeling of the warm liquid across him somewhat soothing in his post orgasmic state. He didn't move, not when Itachi slumped forwards onto him, not when Itachi smiled into the skin of his neck before biting down harshly, sucking the skin afterwards before moving on, covering Sasuke's flesh with dark little bruises, like brands of ownership.

No one would doubt he belonged to Itachi now, and Sasuke thought idly that maybe no one else would touch him again. Something in him ached at the thought, but he pushed it away. He didn't need anyone else, if his Aniki was there that was more than enough.

X

Naruto came by foot, freshly showered and dressed as nicely as he could manage without looking formal. He remembered the way to the Uchiha townhouse clearly, but he'd still lost his way out of nerves several times. Now he stood on the impressive stone steps and gazed up at the building, anxiously shifting from one foot to the other, trying to work up the confidence to ring the bell.

His hand hovered over the little pull chain, but before he could pull it the door was snapped harshly open, and he found himself staring up into a pale and slightly irritated face. He recognized that face, the man hung around the bar, and he now connected the line and color of the face as somehow belonging to the Uchiha's. The man did not look pleased.

"Who are you and what do you want? Don't you know it's rude to loiter around a private residence like that?" Naruto gawked a little, but managed to shake it off. He smiled weakly.

"I was wondering if Sasuke might be home, he asked me to come by this evening." The man cocked an eyebrow at him.

"I feel like I recognize you. Don't you work down at the..." Naruto flinched a little, even though the man left out the word, he knew that he'd been found out. He wondered if he'd still be let inside after that. The man pulled the door open a bit more though, and beckoned Naruto inside.

"Go sit in the front room, I'll tell Itachi that you've come." Naruto felt his stomach do a small flip. He wasn't here to see Itachi right now, he was here to see Sasuke. That couldn't bode well for him, though he did feel a bit excited to see the older boy again, the anticipation growing tight in his chest.

It was awhile before Itachi appeared, a penitent looking Sasuke at his heels. Naruto's eyes widened as he saw the obvious marks on the boy's skin, an angry shade of blacking purple contrasting starkly with the pale skin. He swallowed hard, and hoped he would get out of this without serious damage to his person. Itachi looked like he might be angry, though his exterior was cold and hard as usual. The brother's sat on the small loveseat across from him, Itachi placing Sasuke down before sitting next to him. Naruto felt his body tighten slightly in fear as those cold dark eyes met his.

"I would not consider this the best time to pay a visit, Uzumaki. I am not very pleased with either of you right now. I feel I must explain some things to you. First of all, regardless of what my foolish brother here might have told you, he is mine, and I do not share well. While I can forgive him a trip or two to visit you downtown, I do not appreciate you sharing him with others." Itachi's tone was cold and hard as steel in winter, and it made Naruto shiver slightly, but he found he couldn't look away from those eyes.

"From this point forwards there will be rules, and I will not permit them to be broken again, do you understand?" Naruto nodded a bit, his breathing all but halted now out of fear. Itachi continued. "Good. Now, I do not mind if you continue to do business with Sasuke, or whatever it is you two have been doing together, but I will not allow him to see others. You must understand that your degree of concern and discretion last night, or at least what I have heard of it from Sasuke so far, is your only saving grace right now. I expect you to look after him better in the future, and I don't care how much you can make from anyone for this, no one else is to even so much as touch Sasuke. Am I clear?"

Naruto nodded again, still scared to move, until Itachi looked away. His gaze fell to Sasuke then, those dark marks clearly visible above his shirt, the way his eyes were downcast and his shoulders slumped forwards limply. Naruto was concerned, and he couldn't stop himself from rising, glancing at Itachi to gauge the older boy's reaction, and crossing to stand by Sasuke. One tanned hand reached out, fingers touching a single angry mark lightly. Sasuke's face turned up then, and their eyes met. The younger Uchiha's were red and puffy, as if he'd been crying hard, and for a long time. Naruto felt something tighten even further inside of him, his voice raspy as he spoke.

"Are you okay, Sasuke? I'm sorry for this." Sasuke managed a smile, maybe not joyful but certainly not as hollow as it might have been. Naruto relaxed a little at that. He was about to speak again when Itachi cleared his throat from beside them.

"This is a touching moment to be sure, but dinner will be ready soon. Naruto, since you are already here you will be staying. If you have any prior engagements for the evening I would suggest sending a cancelation notice." Naruto looked up, a bit affronted but still scared.

"I have nowhere to be but here. Thank you for your invitation."
