Naruto/Sasuke, Rings
Naru/Sasu: Rings, fingers
When Naruto announced with a devilish grin that he had a surprise gift for him, Sasuke knew better than to get his hopes up. The suitability of presents in general was questionable at best when it came to Naruto but the suitability of presents for him had been embarrassing to say the least.
“What is it?” he sighed not bothering to raise up from the tangle of sheets and pillows and arms long enough to give the blonde a warning glare.
Naruto disentangled himself long enough to scramble for the nightstand (a horridly predictable place to hide a surprise gift) and digging through the drawer extracted a small, blue box.
“What is it?” Sasuke repeated, eying it in clear disinterest.
“Aw, come on,” Naruto whined, plopping the object in the other boy's lap as he rose to a sitting position. “Open it.”
So Sasuke did—open it, a little more slowly than Naruto would have liked (and not at all out of spite). Inside a thin, silver band gleamed back at him.
“This is a girl's ring.”
Naruto scrunched his face in displeasure already geared for an argument. “No, it's not. Put it on.”
“No.”
In the years that they'd been apart, Naruto had become surprisingly quick in his reflexes. He snatched the ring from the box, tackling Sasuke with a deep peal of laughter (in spite of his feigned seriousness on the issue) and somehow in the ensuing onslaught of arms and legs, managed to slip the ring into place.
Sasuke frowned, examining the object where it encircled his fourth finger and after giving it a good tug griped, “Great. Now it's stuck, asshole.”
Naruto shot him a mischievous grin and answered, “Wait, I know how to get it off.”
Sasuke responded with a doubtful glare, not bothering with the “You do?” but his eyes trailed down to his hand when Naruto's fingertips brushed the top of it.
Naruto lifted Sasuke's hand to his mouth, licking the tips of his fingers before slipping the fourth one all the way in, sucking as he began to work the ring back and forth between his teeth.
He was rewarded when Sasuke flushed slightly and said, “You planned this didn't you?”
