A regular trickster!

Naruto's eyes slowly opened , them meeting his alarm clock that was sitting on his nightstand.

'9:00..? Ugh..I was hoping to sleep in later..' He sat up and stretched. He rubbed his eyes and pushed the covers off of him. The blonde blinked and looked around his room, then to the pile of dirty clothes in the corner.

'Ah..Yeah. I have to to laundry today. That's my first priority.' He stood up out of bed and went to his dresser. He searched inside for something to wear, finding an orange t-shirt and black jeans.After putting it on,he walked to his closet and opened it up. He pulled out a clothes hamper and brought it over to the pile. He began tossing clothes in and stopped when he reached the soiled uniform from a couple days back. Naruto blinked at the forgotten clothing, the scent of mildew lingering upon it. He sighed and threw it into the hamper.

'I want to start over with Sasuke. I wanna new start.' He nodded to himself and finished off with the clothes in the hamper. He took it over to the door and went back to get some change.He grabbed some change from his nightstand and looked to the floor next to his bed. He had forgotten the uniform Sasuke let him borrow. He picked it up and put it to his nose, taking in the sweet scent upon it. Peppermint almost. He brought it down from his nose and carried it back with him to the clothes hamper. He dropped it inside and opened the door, carrying the hamper out.

Naruto put in two coins into the washer and dumped his clothes in. He poured in the soap and closed the washer, then turning it on. He sat down on a bench to wait. He wished he had thought to bring a comic to pass the time, but he decided he'd just stay there and wait. Naruto looked around the laundry room. He was surprised that no one was doing laundry except him. But it was Saturday and everyone was problably sleeping in. Then Naruto heard the laundry door open and close and he turned to see who it was. It was Shino and Shikamaru who walked through the door, each of them with their own bags of laundry.

"Oh, hey Naruto." Shikamaru said.

"Hey Shikamaru. Yo Shino." Shino raised his hand in greetings, to busy putting his clothes in the washer.

"So how's it going, you two?" Naruto asked, not really interested, just wanting to be polite to the people who were nice to him.

Shikamaru raised up a dirty T-shirt of his as he moved over to the washer. "Laundry."

"Ah."

"So..." Shikamaru went to sit next to Naruto.

"So..?" Naruto felt uneasy again. Like Shikamaru knew something he didnt or something.

"How's the Uchiha boy doing?"

Naruto shot a stare at Shika. "How the hell would I know?"

"Well..Shino and me heard some things.."

"...What kind of things...?" Naruto's heart was pounding. Could it have been possible for them to have gone to the balcony and seen what they'd done?

"That Uchiha is tutoring you, of course."

Naruto relaxed. 'Ah..Of course.' "Yeah. So what about it?"

"We were thinking..Well since you guys are so tight with each other you might tell Sasuke what good guys we are."

Naruto stared at him weird. "Pfft..Are you kidding me?"

"No, actually.." Shino said walking over.

"There's no way! I mean, why would he listen? He's a bit of a jerk.."

"Sure.." Shikamaru said, unconvinced.

"No, really! He beat me up because..Er..I..Stole his wallet.."

Shika chuckled. "Only because you deserved it. And..I heard he did something more than just give you a beating.."

Naruto froze. "Wh-..What are you talking about..?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about dont you?" Shikamaru smirked.

The washer machine stopped and Naruto jolted upward. "Oh. My laundry is done. Better take it to a dryer!" He zoomed off to get his clothes.

Shino blinked and looked to Shika. "What exactly were you talking about?"

"I was talking about how Sasuke helped out out Naruto the other day. I have no idea what he was thinking."

As soon as Naruto had finished laundry he zoomed as fast as he could out of the laundry room and back to his dorm. He couldnt beleive Shika was acting like that. Or Shino. He sighed and took his clean clothes back to his room. He dug through the clothes in search of the uniform Sasuke had lent him. When he found it he folded it and laid it on the bed. He looked over at his alarm clock that read only 11:00.

'Why cant it be 3 already? I'm so bored..Would Sasuke mind if I went a few hours early? Of course he would.' He now wished he had a TV to watch. Maybe he'd go to the cafe to get something to eat or take a nap. He decided to go to the cafe because his stomach was growling. He walked out of his dorm. He began walking down the hallway and stopped. He blinked as he saw someone; a man walking up and down the hallway, carfully reading each number.

He had raven black hair, long. His eyes were black as coal. They were blank, almost lifeless with no glisten of emotion. He was wearing a black sleevless shirt and tight leather pants. He had distinct lines running from the sides of his nose. They stopped right before they met his cheeks. He looked so familiar. Like..Sasuke! But this was definatly not the raven he knew. This man was older and looked more mature. Naruto walked over to the man who seemed to be lost.

"Er..Can I help you, sir?" Naruto asked.

The man turned to Naruto and blinked. "I'm looking for dorm 31."

'31? That's Sasuke's dorm!' "Why, may I ask..?"

"My younger brother is staying there."

"Wait..Sasuke has a brother? You're his brother?!"

The man smiled some. "Yes. I am his older brother. My name is Itachi Uchiha. I take it you're a friend of Sasuke's..?"

"Well..Sorta. My name's Naruto Uzumaki. I'm sorry, I dont know where Sasuke's dorm is exactly."

"Oh. That's fine. Well, Naruto. Why dont I treat you to something at the school cafe here. We could discuss my younger brother over some hot chocolate."

Naruto blinked. He didnt know this guy. He did he was Sasuke's brother. And he could find out more about the raven. Naruto hesitantly nodded.

Itachi nodded back and walked towards the cafe.

When the hot chocolate arrived, Naruto took in the sweet, steamy scents that wafted upwards, making the skin on his face tingle. He blew away the steam and waited for it to cool. itachi was drinking coffee instead.

"So, Naruto."

Naruto looked up from a small sip he made from the hot drink.

"How good are you and Sasuke friends?"

Naruto blinked. "Well..I dunno. We're not best friends. He's helped me out with a few problems..And he's my tutor."

"Really..?" Itachi smiled a bit at Naruto.

Naruto blushed lightly and looked down. This man was beautiful.

"Y-yeah. He's really smart. I guess I dont need to tell you that. You two are brothers. Heheh.."

"My brother and I dont really keep in touch so I'm not really sure was he's up to sometimes."

"Ah.."

Itachi took a sip of his coffee. "I sometimes even worry about him."

Naruto looked back up at the man. "What do you mean..?"

"..Four years ago,..Something happened to Sasuke. Something I did. ...He tried to kill me."

Naruto's eyes widened and for a moment he couldnt understand what Itachi was saying. "Wh-..What..?"

"I ammited him to a psychiatric hospital. Two years later, he was realeased. A year later and he came here."

Naruto's mind went blank for a split second as he tried to comprehend what exactly he was being told. "Wh..."

"But he's more mature and he has better control of his emotions, I'm sure. He's 16 now, he's smart enough to know what's right from wrong now. Don't worry, Naruto. Sasuke is a good person. Dont let what I've told you cloud your friendship with him.He needs a good friend like you.." Itachi stood up and took his coffee.

"I have to go now. I think it's best if you didnt tell Sasuke I stopped by. ..I havent seen him in a year, and I've hardly talked to him so..We'll meet again. .But.....You should still watch your back with him..Good bye." And with that, Itachi was gone, out of his line of vision. Naruto sat there for awhile before he sighed and took a sip of his hot chocolate. He looked at the clock on the wall, which it read 1:46. He needed to go back and fold his laundry and go meet Sasuke at his dorm. But now he was having second thoughts about seeing him..

Dont let what I've told you cloud your friendship..

Naruto shook his head and stood up, taking his hot chocolate in hand. It was unfair to treat Sasuke that way. He was one of Naruto's only friends.

He walked back to his dorm, deciding to see Sasuke after all.

After Naruto folded laundry, he decided to take a short nap. When he awoke it was 2:40.

Naruto rubbed his eyes and blinked at the clock. It was just enough time for him to get his stuff together and find Sasuke's dorm. He had said 3:00 sharp so he'd have to look for it. He left his dorm with his bookbag and looked at the number on his door.

'Dorm number 12.'

He'd have to go on the other side of the school to look for it. He walked out of the hallway and past the courtyard, passed the gym, and back into the living district. He walked down a hallway and looked at each number carefully. Then he saw it. Dorm 31, the last door on the right side of the hallway. He stood infront of the door and blinked.

He tried to kill me.. Naruto shook his head and sighed. He brought a hand up and knocked lightly on the door. A few seconds later there was an answer.

"Hold on.." Then Sasuke came to the door. He smiled some.

" Hey, dobe."

Naruto smirked. "Yo, teme.."

Sasuke stepped aside to let Naruto in. Naruto stepped inside, slipping off his shoes.He looked around. The dorm was spotless and simple, much like his own,beside the spotless part. It had the familiar scent of peppermint. He looked over to see a huge couch and.. a TV! A big screen.

"Hey, Earth to dobe..Over here." Sasuke was over in the kitchen area. Naruto snapped out of his daze and looked over to Sasuke.

"You want something to drink? I have soda, water, tea.."

"Soda." Sasuke nodded and opened up the minifridge on the counter. The raven walked over with two cokes and a plate of assorted cookies.

Naruto smiled as Sasuke brought the tray to the small coffee table infront of the couch Naruto walked over and sat down, opening his soda and sipping it, letting the high amount of acids burn the back of his throat, taking in the sweet, sweet cafeine. Sasuke opened his own soda and took a sip before looking over to the blonde.

"So, you bring your homework?"

Naruto nodded as he stuffed a cookie into his mouth, reaching for his bookbag. He pulled out the papers and laid them on the table. Sasuke picked them up and blinked, a confused look upon his face.

"These..Papers are already finished.."

Naruto swallowed and scratched the back of his head. "Oh..Yeah. I got bored so I finished them late last night.."

"You were bored..?" Sasuke smirked at him. "These answers are right too. You dont need me as a tutor, do you?"

Naruto laughed nervously and looked down. "Well..No.."

"Then why have me around..?"

"I..I dont know..I mean..I'm your friend..arnt I..?"

Sasuke blinked at him, his eyes soft. He didnt really respond and it made Naruto nervous. He slowly looked up and his eyes widened as he saw Sasuke move, and his lips were covered by the raven's. Naruto blushed but didnt move away. Sasuke nibbled down on his bottom lip, his tongue then dipping in and brushing against his teeth, asking for entry. Sasuke scooted around the table, continuing to kiss the blonde. He snaked his hands up Naruto's sides, bringing him close. Naruto closed his eyes tight, his cheeks crimson. He didnt pull away or shout for him to stop, nor did he ask for more. Sasuke wasnt surprised. He pressed his body to Naruto's, slowly guiding him to the floor. Sasuke adjusted himself until he was sitting on top of the blonde. Sasuke broke the kiss and looked at Naruto, both of them panting. Naruto slowly opened his eyes.

"S-Sasuke.." Naruto's heart was hammering in his chest and his body trembling.

The raven sighed and ran the backside of his hand across Naruto's cheek.

"....I'm sorry. I..Couldnt control myself.." Sasuke sat and attempted to get off of the blonde but he grabbed the raven by the wrist.

"W..Wait Sasuke..I.." Naruto looked away, his cheeks burning. Sasuke smiled some and sat back atop him.The raven leaned forward and laid a gentle kiss upon Naruto's lips.
