Remember
"I remember how fast the darkness came that night because of the darkness growing in my heart."
Hanabi didn't want to leave her father's side. Ever since her mother's death Hanabi had taken her place beside her father. Her sister Hinata didn't have the same bond with their father.
Thou Hinata was an obendiant daughter, while Hanabi was the only one to talk back to Hiashi. They had a special relationship that was thicker than the blood crossing through their veins. Hanabi would go to the ends of the earth for him. But with him becoming so ill it only made it clear that she would do anything to make her father happy.
Leaving her father's room behind her, Hanabi started making her way towards Hinata's room down the hall. The hallway had had an eerie quiet till she tapped her knuckles against the door. "No answer...She must be asleep again, lazy girl," Hanabi wrapped the door again with force but the same result. "What the heck?" Grabbing the sliding door to open it all she could see was darkness with the a beam of light coming from the window.
"She never leaves...especially this late in the evening," looking around curiously, Hanabi could see no signs of anyone ever really being in the room. Stepping back she gave the door a hard slam.

Sitting on his futon Neji started to lean back getting trying to get comfortable when a knock at the door snapped him to attention. "Enter," Neji commanded. Sliding the door to the side Hanabi stood in the doorway looking at her older cousin. "Hanabi-sama," Neji rose to his feet bowing his head out of respect for his junior.
"Neji, where is Hinata!?" Hanabi commanded. Neji knew that Hanabi was different from her sister just in the way she spoke to him. No honorfics, no pleases, no thank yous just straight foward questions and answers. In a way it was the same as how he treated people except for paying respects.
"Hinata-sama had gone out, I saw her leaving as I had returned from training. I don't know where she had gone to, other then she said she would going to speak with friend," Neji lifted his head to look into Hanabi's eyes. Her mouth was pulled back, with teeth grinning together, eyes of stone.
"Why did you let her go on her own? She is the Heiress...whether we like it or not. And to top that...she is to be your wife. You should keep an eye on your wife," Hanabi glared at Neji for his carefree way of not taking care of Hinata. Neji tried to not glare back at her remark, but all he could do was sigh.
"Hanabi-sama, she made it very clear that she didn't want me to come with her, nor did she want anyone to know. I am only telling you becau...AHHHH!"
Neji felt a pain ripping through his forehead, Hanabi had activated the Bird In A Cage seal. Neji put his hands to his forehead falling to the ground in agony, "AHHH!! HAHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Neji couldn't help but to scream making it his only release. Curling up into the fetal position he cried in pain feeling his brain tighten He hadn't felt this kind of pain in so long. the only thing he could think of was Hinata. She was the only Head family member to never use the seal, no matter what grief he caused her or how he spoke to her.
Releasing the jutsu Hanabi let her hands drop, "Don't speak to a Main Family member in such a way. You aren't married to my sister yet. You understand?" Hanabi truly never cared how she treated Neji, he wasn't much of anything to her other then a way to keep an eye on her sister.
Finally able to breath Neji rose to his feet slowly. The pain sharp pain had vanished leaving a throbbing ache. Putting his hands back to his side Neji bowed his head again, "Yes Hanabi-sama, you are right. Do you wish for me to find her?" Neji hated his younger cousin at that moment for taking it upon herself to feel superior to him.
"Yes, find Hinata. My father wanted me to check on her and she wasn't in her room and now you have to find her," Hanabi barked, she knew that all Neji could do was obey.
Upon slamming the door behind her, Neji started to rub his forehead again, "Stupid Bitch...god...I don't know when she turned into one but I am glad I will never have to marry her..."

"Just a little further, I truly hope I am not intruding," the thought finally accorded to Hinata that she could be intruding on her teammate. "No...he did say if we ever need to talk I was free to ask..." Her words got swiped into the cold only to be caught by a tiny bug on a tree.
The small creature sniffed the scent of Hinata as she wandered into it's territory. Giving a second sniff the beetle raised its wing caps and jetted off into the darkness.
