The Darkest Moments

Shisui had stayed the night again the night before Itachi was suppose to leave. I actually got a glimpse of what they were doing and talking about, too.

"So, were going to finish what we started tommorro morning? How?" Shisui asked his black hair framing his curious face.

"Drowning." Itachi hadn't made eye contact with Shisui at all through the entierety of the time.

Shisui nodded. "That's fair." He held out a slip of paper. "I've already wrote the note."

Itachi took the note and glared at it from beneath the coverage of his bangs. "Why did you want to do this?" Itachi asked barely above a whisper.

"Being perfect isn't all it's cracked up to be." He answered and looked up smiling. "Hey,"

Itachi looked up at Shisui and for the first time they made eye contact.

"I thought I told you, you look prettier with your hair down." Shisui reached around and pulled the tie out of Itachi's hair. They fell in almost slow motion and framed his face perfectly.

Itachi smiled. The first time i'd seen him smile, in a long time. "Your so gay." Itachi pushed Shisui's shoulder playfully. They had this "talk" everytime Shisui came over.

"Sasuke," Shisui said out of no where.

Itachi suddenly became aware of my chakra signature, and that I was watching.

Naruto looked up at the sky. He been practising for hours, and the sky had darkened considerably. He was not going to leave though.

It all went back to training earlier. Sasuke and Sakura had been practicing in thier usual spot, and Naruto was, too, but He was half asleep.

He threw his shurikan sloppily and they hit the hand, and the arm of the dummy, oh, and one hit right above Sasuke's head.

"Hey!" Sasuke yelled. "Watch where your throwing, Usuratonkachi!"

"What did you call me?!" Naruto yelled back suddenly alert.

"Usuratonkachi! That's what I called you. Are you too dumb to understand big words?" Sasuke yelled his reply. Usually he would have ignored the blonde, but he hadn't exactly had the best time today.

"Fuck you, Teme, I could be smarter than you anyday." Naruto stepped forward and shoved his thumb into the fabric of his shirt to empasize that HE could.

"Naruto, stop arguing with Sasuke-kun!" Sakura scream disaprovingly.

The only reason he didn't punch Sasuke was what Sakura had said.

And so he was now here again. Blowing off steam for several hours.

Naruto sat down on a stump and sipped out of a water bottke he'd brought.

Naruto glared at the direction from wich a familiar chakra signature was approaching.

Sasuke walked over the hill that led to the training ground. His hands were deep in his pockets. "Hey, dobe." Was the best greeting he could give the blond.

"Leave me alone. Teme." Naruto put down the water bottle and lgared at Sasuke.

Itachi stood up and opened the door. "I'm sorry Nii-san." I said quickly.

Itachi sighed. "It's okay sasuke, just go to bed now." Itachi smiled down at me.

I smiled back at him. If there was anyone I coulf count on, It was Itachi. I walked back to my bedrrom and layed down. I couldn't sleep however, I was kept up by my unceasing thoughts about what they had said.

"Drowning.", "Finishing what we started.", "Why" and ect. Sasuke was thinking hard. so hard that when he fell asleep, he was still thinking about it.

"I didn't come down here for you, Idiot." SAsuke looked at Naruto with disdain.

"Then why did you come down here?" Naruto asked looking at Sasuke.

"I just didn't wanna be at home. What's it to you?" Sasuke glared at the younger teen.

"Oh that's right," Naruto said remembering the date suddenly. "It's the aniversary of the massacre." The blonde shinobi drank some more water.

"Don't say it like that." Sasuke said with hate filling his voice.

"Say it like what? Like I don't give a fuck and you shouldn't either?" Naruto stood up and started gathering his things.

Suddenly Naruto dropped all his things onto the ground and was pinned up against a tree with a Kunai to his throat.

"Don't say it like you understand." Sasuke spat and held the kunai against Naruto's neck.

"Go on." Naruto said grabbing Sasuke's wrist and making him press the kunai harder against his neck. "Cut me." Naruto demanded.

Sasuke just glared daggers at Naruto. "Cut me." The blonde repeated.

Sasuke didn't care anymore, it was all going on impulse now. Sasuke pulled the kunai swiftly, sharply down Naruto's neck. It didn't cut deep enough to scar, nor to kill, just enough to hurt.

Stinging erupted from the side of Naruto's neck. The kyuubi was egging him on in the back of his mind. "Do it!" The demon fox chanted. Naruto gave in and pulled Sasuke forward by the back of his head, until thier lips crashed upon eachother.

Sasuke was still on auto-piloted impulse. Sasuke pushed Naruto into the tree as he deepened the kiss.

Naruto traced Sasuke's bottom lip with his tonge. At the unexpectedness of the action Sasuke gasped and Naruto intruded Sasuke's mouth without a second thought.

Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto's neck. Sasuke's skin was cold against Naruto's skin that was still heated from training.

Naruto broke the kiss. After a moment both had regained thier senses. Sasuke took his arms from around Naruto's neck and stepped back. His eyes were side saucer's and he looked shocked.

Naruto let go of a breath he hadn't known he was holding. He slid down the trunk of the tree. Silence engulfed the two.

The only noise was thier heavy breathing. "I-I think I should go." Naruto broke the suffocating silence and started gathering his things.

Sasuke watched, silent as Naruto finished getting his shurikan and waterbottles and ran past him back into the village.

Little was known to me of what was going on back in Itachi's room, but I could surely think of some things.

What was really happening was totally off from my thinking.

Itachi had his hung head again exploring his second thoughts.

Shisui reached out and put a hand to Itachi's cheek. "Please, don't think to hard about it."

Itachi put his hand over Shisui's and looked up. Itachi sighed. "Shisui-kun, why me?"

"You can take the lonely away for a little while." Shisui permitted Itachi one last secret.

"But-" Itachi was cut off as shesui lightly kissed him. Shisui noted, as he pulled away, Itachi's eyes where wide.

"Sorry." Shisui looked out the window. He didn't really mean it though.

"It-It's okay." Itachi touching his lips with his index finger.

The next morning Naruto woke with a start. The kyuubi had woke him up with an internal scream.

Naruto glared at the kyuubi and went to make breakfast.

The kyuubi grinned. "'I don't like Sasuke like that.'" The kyuubi taunted, mimiking Naruto's voice.

"Shut it, you stupid Demon." The shinobi growled.

"I'm just saying, you DID kiss him." The fox grinned.

Without warning Naruto blocked out the demon.

It was bad enough that he had to see Sasuke at training today; He didn't need kyuubi mocking him.

Naruto sighed, ate his breakfeast, got dressed, and exited his home. He walked to the training ground, wondering what was gonna happen.

When he reached the training ground Sasuke and Sakura were both already there, Kakashi was not.

Sasuke was standing by his station looking impassive as usual. Sakura was staring at him from her station a pretty blush on her face.

Kakashi materialized in the tree behind Sasuke. "'Ello." Kakashi said and his eye was curved into a smile behind his orange novel.

"Your in a good mood." Sasuke said looking at the older Shinobi.

"I 'spose so!" Kakashi jumped down from the tree.

"Why're you so happy?" Sakura asked.

Kakashi just looked at her with a face that said, "Not telling!" "How about I take you guys out to eat?"

Naruto impulsively jumped up, "YEAH! RAMEN!" Naruto smiled. Everything looked like it would be fine.

Shisui looked at Itachi. "Really?" He asked, but he didn't seem shocked or anything.

"Yeah..." Itachi trailed off.

Shisui smiled. "Okay." Shisui Kissed Itachi again this time with a little more force.

Itachi kissed back unsurely.

Shisui broke the kiss and pushed Itachi down onto the bed. "Take away the pain for a long time, this time." Shisui wispered in Itachi's ear.

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi all took seats side by side. It went left to right; Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura, and then Naruto.

Naruto got ramen and pork, and the rest ate miso ramen.

"So, Sasuke-kun, are you looking forward to the next mission, also?" Sakura tried creating a conversation.

"Hn." Attemp one-failed.

Naruto finished slurping down his ramen. "Thanks for the ramen Kakashi Sensei!" Naruto yelled and hugged the jounin who almost choked on the noodles he was eating.


"Your welcome." Kakashi said after hee'd swalllowed his noodles.

"Hey, Sasuke-kun, do you really like ramen, or do you just think it's alright?" Sakura tried again.

"Hn." Attemp two-failed.

Itachi was breathing heavily. Was shisui asking for what he thought he was?

Shisui kissed Itachi's neck, and put his hand up the other's shirt.

Itachi's question had been answered. "Shisui, I don't think we should..."

Shisui continued kissing Itachi's neck. "C'mon, I only have one day left." Shisui pinched one of Itachi's nipples.

"Shisui..." Itachi said. "Why now?"

Everyone finished eating. Naruto thanked Kakashi a second time, before they all parted ways.

Naruto was walking down the street, and unblocked Kyuubi.

"Not as bad as you thought, eh?" Kyuubi asked swishing his tails.

"No, not really." He answered putting his hands in his pockets.

"So, was it worth it?" Kyuubi grinned widely.

"Worth what, it's still the same, Nothing happened." Naruto looked at the fox as if was stupid. "Besides, it was all just a one time...mistake."

The kyuubi rolled his eyes. "You had a dream last night."

"Ya wanna be blocked? Again?" Naruto threatened.

"Yeesh." The kyuubi then shut up.

"Naruto," A voice called from behind him.

The blonde turned to regretfully see Sasuke.

"I need to talk to you. Follow me."

Naruto followed Sasuke and the kyuubi receeded to the back of his mind.

"Why not?" Shisui pulled Itachi's shirt above the others head.

"Because, I'm going to kill you tommorro." Itachi said as if it were right in front of them.

"Exactly." Shisui made a trail of kisses down Itachi's torso. "It is much easier this way. Nobody will have to know." Shisui unbuttoned the others pants.

Itachi sat up. "Shisui," He looked down at the other male who was looking back boredly. "I-I don't know about this."

Shisui sat up straight as if hit with a lightning bolt. "Your not-Are you a virgin?" Shisui asked looking like he was about to ask.

"I'm barely legal." Itachi looked at his friend.

Shisui smiled. "Okay," He layed down on his back. "You should wait then."

Itachi looked at shisui; the sudden change of heart was unexpected, and unusual.

Sasuke and Naruto arived at the Uchiha grounds and led them to the main building.

Sasuke and Naruto entered the house and shut the door behind themselves.

Sasuke turned to Naruto. "About last night..." Sasuke tailed off.

"I'm sorry Sasuke." Naruto said looking at the raven-haired shinobi. "I just..er..lost control."

"There are so many reasons I shouldn't care," Sasuke said and looked at the far wall. "But for some reason I can only think of the one reason I should."

Naruto looked at sasuke his mouth ever so slightly open and his eyes wide. "Wha-What do you mean Sasuke-teme?"

Sasuke sttepped forward and kissed Naruto.

Naruto began moving his lips in time with Sasuke and he wrapped his hand around Sasuke's torso and pulled him closer.

headbands . He tied his own headband around Naruto's eyes blinding him and he used Naruto's to tie the blondes hands to the head board. "Does that help?" Sasuke asked.

"Leave the one on my eyes on, but unty my hands." Naruto said relunctanly. He was still not to sure about this, but being blinded made it a little better.

Sasuke untied Naruto's hands then continued kissing Naruto's neck. Sasuke went back to Naruto mouth and kissed him again.

Thier teeth clanked, thier tongues massaged eachother and they were lost in thier own world again.

Sasuke's hands roved over Naruto's body. The blondes hands wrapped around Sasukes neck and pulled him deeper into the kiss.

Sasuke unzipped Naruto's orange jacket and pulled it off. Sasuke smiled when he'd gotten the iritating fabric out of the way.
