The Fox Hunt

Naruto turned, coming face to face with the other teenager.



"What do you want, haven't you ruined my life enough?"



"Hey, I'm sorry about before, no hard feelings?"



"Oh, I still have plenty of hard feelings about that."



"Why?"



"You embarressed me in front of everybody!"



"Come on it was just a picture."



"An embarressing picture!"



"I just wanted to know if you would have lunch with me."



"No, I don't want to have lunch with you. Just leave me alone."



"Naruto I-"



"No Sai, I mean it." And with that Naruto turned and went into the cafeteria.

"What do you mean he said no?"



"He still has hard feelings about that picture I drew."



"No shit. It was a picture of him in the shower."



"It's not my fault he didn't lock the door."



"Yes, but it's your fault you drew the picture."



"What can I say, he's a true work of art!"



"Sai!"



"What?!?"



"Keep your hands and thoughts off my future boyfriend!"



"Make me!"



Sasuke raised a fist as if he was going to punch Sai, and the latter quickly brought up his hands in defense.



"Woah, I already saw what you did to Kiba, and I don't want my pretty face scarred."



"Hn"



"Oh yeah, well two can play at that game."



"Hn."



Sai sat there trying desperately not to talk. 'I will beat dickless at his own game.' Just then Naruto walked up and sat next to Sasuke.



"Hey, picture man could you leave us alone for 5 minutes?" Naruto asked.



"Oh, anything for you Naru-chan." Sai got up and left with Naruto glaring at his back.



Naruto turned towards Sasuke. "I need your help with something."



"Why me?"



"Because no one will suspect you. And someone said you'd be the best at this."



"This better not be one of your stupid pranks."



"Oh, but it is."



Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Who else will be there?"



"Shikamaru."



"How did you get that lazy ass to agree?"



"It's a secret."



Naruto told Sasuke the plan. 'Wow, it sounds kinda fun.' The bell rang and they headed for their 5th period class, Science. Everyone gathered outside the classroom door. Waiting for the teacher to come and let them in. The bell signifying that everyone should be in class rang. Finally the gray haired man walked up.



"Sorry I got-"



"Lost on the road of life."



Kakashi looked at his class. "I'm glad you understand." He moved through the kids to get to the door and unlocked it. He opened it and watched his students flood in. He strolled to the front of the room and started to speak. "Okay class today we start Sex Ed." He pulled up

the map reveling three pictures. He then also grabbed his pointer.



"This is a penis, this is a vagina, these are breasts. Any questions?" Kakashi looked out at his class and nearly fell over laughing at all the 'deer-in-the-headlights' looks he was getting from his class. He watched as a hand came up, slowly, as if unsure. "Yes, Sakura?"



"Why are you going so fast?"



"Well, I figured you've known this since 6th grade, so why hear it again. I could go slower if you'd like."



"NO!"



Kakashi chuckled at the reaction of his class. He continued through the next 40 minutes at his fast pace, crash course sex education class. When the bell finally rang all Kakashi heard was the scraping of chairs and the class was gone. The group split in half as some people went to the band room, while the others went to the art room.



Kurenai watched as her class filed in, taking their seats by the easels and tables throughout the room. After everyone took their seats, she started to speak. "Okay class, today I want you to draw something you find beautiful. The time is yours. At the end, everyone will share their pictures."



Naruto took a pencil and started to sketch his piece, careful to make every stroke perfect. If you didn't know Naruto very well when you walked by him you would assume he was drawing somebody who had a round face and unruly curly, hair. However to Neji and Kiba, it was obvious what Naruto was drawing, even when he only had one line on the paper.



'You know Kit, you should draw something else for a change.'



'Would you rather I draw strawberries?'



'You're hopeless, you know that right?'



'I don't care what you say unless it invovles what we're doing tonight.'



'Fine.'



"Dude, you're so predictable." Kiba said laughing slightly as a bowl became visible.



"I'm aware of that. I already got an earful from the fox. What are you drawing?"



"Haku holding Akamaru."



"Why am I not surprised?"



Naruto continued to draw with great concentration. After he finished the sketch of the bowl with the ramen, he grabbed his colored pencils and started to fill in the white spots, adding a shadow to the bowl. Once he was done with that he started to add the background.

Sasuke sat staring at the canvas in front of him. 'Should I draw Naruto? No, that would embaress him and he'd hate me as much as he hates Sai.' Sasuke contined to sit, playing with the paintbrush in his hand. Suddenly an idea came to his mind and he started to draw quickly, hoping his memory wouldn't fail him. He grabbed the various brushes from the paint jars as he needed them, a scene quickly coming to life.



"Okay class, it's time to share the pictures you drew. Who's first?" Kunenai looked at her class. "Okay Sakura, go ahead."



Sakura walked to the front of the room holding her picture. She turned it to the class and Sasuke almost turned red. Almost. But he was an Uchiha and Uchihas did not show emotion. The picture was of Sasuke pushing Sakura on a swing. They were both smiling.



"Very nice Sakura. Ino, you're up."



Ino walked up holding her painting behind her back. She showed it and some people gasped. It was a picture of a field of flowers. The flowers in the front had amazing detail. It was as if she had attached the flower right to her canvas. The bright pinks and purples made the flowers seem to jump off the page.



"Very nice Ino. Okay Neji, let's see yours."



Neji walked up holding a canvas. He showed the canvas to the class and again, some people gasped. His picture was of a bird flying out of a cage. The door of the cage was open and the bird, a canary, was in the middle of flapping it's wings flying into the bright blue sky.



"Very nice Neji. Shikamaru."



Shikamaru slowly got up and grabbed his drawing from the table. He showed it to the class and everyone started to laugh. Shikamaru's picture was of a bed, the pillows looked fluffly like clouds, and the blue comforter made you want to be snuggled safe and sound underneath it. But peopled laughed anyway. Kurenai tried to calm them down and Shikamaru just went back to his seat and fell asleep.



"Good job Shikamaru. Uh how 'bout you Kiba?"



Kiba stood and brought his painting to the front of the room. Lots of people smiled whilst 'ohhs' and 'ahhhs' could be heard. The picture showed Haku smiling and laughing. His was holing Akamaru who was barking happily. Behind them was a big red heart. Haku turned bright red and hid in his arms as everyone started to look at him.



"Very nice Kiba. Naruto, can we see yours now?"



"Okay Kurenai-sensei."



The smiling blonde walked up to the front of the room, tightly holding his drawing. He got down on one knee, bent his head down, then he held the picture high over him. The class started to laugh even harder then they had when they had seen Shikamaru's picture. It showed the bowl of ramen. The ramen was on a cloud and had a beam of light shining down on it. Even Kurenai was snickering.



"Okay class, calm down." Slowly, the laughing died down to giggling, then to snickering and finally everyone was quiet once again. "Thank you Naruto. Haku, you're up."

Haku walked up to the class holding his drawing. He showed it and everyone was looking in awe. On the top of the picture it said, 'May you rest in peace'. The picture wwas of Zabuza, who most people knew to be Haku's older cousin. It showed Zabuza as Haku remembered him, before he had died at a construction site. In the picture, he was leaning against a tree, smiling wide. Some people had tears in the corners of their eyes, remembering the day that Haku had come in crying.



"Very nice Haku. Sasuke you're turn."



Sasuke walked up to the front of the room, holding the canvas under his arm. He showed it to the clas and people gasped loudly. It was a picture of Mikoto and Fugaku. They were facing each other, holding hands and smiling. They were standing in front of a cherry tree, the pink blossoms swirling around them. Sakura cheered when she saw the picture. "Great picture Sasuke-kun!"



Kurenai rolled her eyes along with the rest of the class. "Very nice Sasuke. Sai, we're ready for you're picture."



Sai walked with an heir of confidence, winking at Naruto when he walked by. Suddenly, Naruto was afraid of what lay on the other side of the canvas. Sai turned the picture and Naruto fell off his chair, remaining on the floor in order to escape the stares. The picture was of Naruto, but as if that wasn't enough, he was in a maid's uniform, blushing and holding a feather duster. Sasuke was fuming mad and was glaring daggers at his cousin. Kiba looked down at Naruto, laughing.



"That's a nice look for you Naruto."



"Shut the fuck up dog breath."



"Sai!"



Sasuke shot out of his seat and dove towards the other teen. Sai yelped and dropped his painting on Kurenai's ddesk before taking off so Sasuke wouldn't catch him. They ran around the room, careful not to knock over anything too important. Sai dove under a table and slid out on the other side. Sasuke picked him up and caught him in a headlock.



"Boys!" Everyone turned to look at Kurenai. Sai was in mid struggle, and Sasuke was in mid kill-my-cousin mode. "Sasuke, release Sai right now or you'll both be sent to Tsunade's office."



Sasuke dropped Sai and crossed his hands across his chest. Sai stood up and massaged his neck. He grabbed his painting and moved back to his seat. Kurenai was about to start a lecture on appropriate drawings when the bell rang. Everyone quickly stood and bustled out of the classroom and went out into the hall to stop by their lockers before they left. Naruto opened his locker and a note fell out. He picked it up and opened it.



'Naruto-



I'm now part of your little plan to mess with Jiriaya. I'll meet you and the others outside at

8:00. Don't be late or you'll be sorry.'



Naruto shivered and folded to note back up and shoved it in his pocket. He grabbed his things and hurried to catch up with Kiba and Haku.
