A/N: This is ‘’Convictions’, the third vignette I’ve made.

 The Danger Of Passing Notes

 

There were only ten minutes left in class when Naruto finally finished his notes for Biology, and got to sit back in his chair to relax. Ebisu was talking about giving homework while his students pretended to listen.

Naruto jerked up in his seat when something pelted him in the back of his head, sliding down to rest in the collar of his jacket. When he turned around, Ino was mouthing ‘Pass it to Sasuke’ behind her hand, glancing at their sensei in case he caught them.

The blonde rolled his eyes before he dug the note out of his jacket, tossing it over Sasuke’s shoulder onto his desk. The raven actually opened, and after a few minutes, he gasped softly. The note was tossed back after the bastard scribbled something on it, and Naruto tossed it back to Ino.

He stopped paying attention then, staring listlessly out the window at the passing clouds, grunting when the note hit him in the face this time. He threw the note back over Sasuke’s shoulder, getting angry at the way these two were treating him. Like a go-between guy.

Sasuke turned in his seat, a slight smirk tilting one side of his mouth as he slipped the note back into Naruto waiting hand.

“I think you’re sexy, too.” The raven informed him, completely stunning Naruto into silence. Then Sasuke turned back around and Naruto absently threw the note back to Ino.

Naruto kicked his chair, “What the hell is that supposed to mean, asshole? I’m not into you!” He whispered furiously, poking the raven in his back. Hard.

“Then why would you tell me you were?” Sasuke hissed back, turning in his chair again.

Ino threw the note at Naruto, he threw it to Sasuke, and the raven turned back around in his seat.

“Stop giving me this note if you’re not into me!”

“That’s Ino’s note.” Naruto said dumbly, a grin coming to his mouth as Sasuke blushed for all he was worth and started to rip the thing up. “So, what’d it say, Sasuke?” The blonde teased, nudging the boy’s foot with his to get a response.

Sasuke just turned to face forward in his seat, whispering a “blooding fucking hell” because of the extreme misunderstanding with Ino’s note. Naruto just loved the irony.
