Crazy Love

'H-Hey! What are you going? I'm not asking that he wants the pink haired girl to be his mate.' Gaara thought back to his demon and tried to move away from the sand by squeezing through some of the roots but tried to do it calmly so it didn't look like he was being chased by the sand. "I have no chakra so I will be useless if someone attacks us...but we can try." He replied and folded his arms frowning as he looked back at his gourd.



Shukaku let the sand wrap around Gaara's legs and drag him over to Lee then push him into the taller boy. "A-ah... Gaara-kun what are you doing..?" He asked blushing deeply. 'Just fucking ask him now!!' He yelled.



Gaara blushed deeply and tried to move back only to nearly fall over from the sand around his legs. "I-Its not me its S-Shukaku." He said his voice breaking out of monotone since he was awkward. He tried to get his legs free and started to feel embarrassed. 'Shukaku?? What are you doing? You never let people touch me and now your pushing me into someone???'



'I am currrriiioouusss!!!' Shukaku yelled out loudly into Gaara's mind. "Oh uh.. why is he doing that?" Lee asked backing up a little bit awkward by having Gaara touching him like that even though it was not really his fault.



"I don't really know." Gaara said and finely got free of the sand but stumbled and fell back on the grass. 'I am not some test subject don't try weird things.' He thought and sat up wincing a little. He really didn't understand what was going on with him...he felt that weird feeling again that he had gotten when Lee had sat with him on the roof so long ago.



Lee blinked then smiled and reached his hand to Gaara so he could help him up. "Umm alright.. are you ok?" 'Oh come on, I feel what you feel I am curious. You love him I can tell.. sooo just ask and try it out.' Shukaku said to his host.



Gaara blinked and looked at Lee's hand then blushed at what his demon said, he set his hand in the older males feeling even more awkward. 'Love?? There is no way I could...I don't know how...Ask him what? Try what out?'



'Loving someone now you know? And trying out a guy, it might be interesting,' Shukaku told his host while grinning widely. Lee helped Gaara up and patted him on the back, "Yosh, you seem alright."



The sand ninja blushed darker and lifted his hands up to ruffle up his red hair. "Gaaah! For the last time I don't love him! I'm male for one, I don't think he wants to be with another male. I have heard him rant about his love for that pink haired girl before...You can't prove I love him so there! Drop the subject.' He ranted at his demon then brushed dirt off him. Clearing his throat he turned to look at Lee. "I'm fine...so which way? ..I hate having to ask but could you help me get the gourd..?" He asked and folded his arms.



Lee nodded and walked over picking the gourd up and carrying it for Gaara. 'This is a little easier with no casts,' Lee thought with a sweat drop. Then he grinned at Gaara, "This way Gaara-kun!" 'Stubborn child..' Shukaku mumbled to his host.



"Wait you don't need to carry it for me.." Gaara said walking beside Lee and moving his hands up to try and take the gourd from him. 'Damn right I am.. now shut up and stop bugging me your giving me a head ach.' The redhead thought feeling annoyed that the demon now knew something to tease him about.



"No no no, I am alright," Lee said to Gaara with a large grin and kept carrying the gourd. He already had messed up his healing limbs today, a little more work wasn't too bad. 'Tch.. whatever..' Shukaku said coldly upset at how stubborn his host could be.



When they finely arrived at the village the redhead was barely able to keep himself up but he tried to keep up his tough act and walked through the gates. Already Temari and Shikamaru had made it back to the village along with Kankuro and Kiba. Neji and Chouji had been found and were rushed to the hospital. Gaara frowned since it had started to pour down rain the moment they stepped foot into the village. He was a little surprised Lee had not rushed off the moment they got there and he looked at the leaf ninja who was walking beside him.



"Yosh! Youthful rain for good news to the mission I hope," Lee said walking to the hospital and in it and when he spotted his friends he grinned and waved still holding the gourd. "Hey guys!" He called out but still walked at the slow pace never leaving Gaara's side for one moment.



Gaara finely felt to tired and sat down on a bench and put his face in his hands. Shikamaru walked up to Lee and glanced at Gaara getting a slightly nervous look, he was still a bit freaked out by the redhead. "Hey Lee.." He said and raised a eye brow seeing Lee was holding the gourd.



The leaf ninja moved around him for a moment and set the gourd next to Gaara then moved back over to Shikamaru. "Sooo how was the mission? A youthful success??" He said with a wide grin always trying to look on the bright side of things and not think the worse. Temari stared at the hyper leaf ninja then looked a little concerned at her younger brother. "Gaara.. are you alright? Do you need to meditate?" She asked softly, but she did not touch her little brother out of habit even though she wanted to hug him tightly. When they had arrived in Konoha they knew to help but she had no clue what to expect, so when her little brother ran off alone of course she freaked out a little on the inside, but she kept that to herself. However she wanted to huggle her little brother at that moment since she knew he was ok.



Shikamaru sighed and shook his head. "We failed..Sasuke is gone and Neji and Chouji got badly hurt..." He said and sighed, the browned haired male was so tired and he just wanted to go home and rest. "Where is Uzumaki Naruto?" Gaara asked lifting his head to look up at the leaf ninja. "Naruto is still unconscious.. Kakashi brought him in." Shikamaru replied. "Well it seems we are going to be stuck here for awhile jaan." Kankuro said as he walked down the hallway and up to them. "Our orders were to help the leaf and with some of their ninja hurt we are gonna have to stick around longer.. that ok with you Gaara?" The older brother asked. Gaara nodded and folded his arms. "I understand..." He said simply.



Lee's smile faltered a little bit hearing the bad news but when he heard Gaara was staying for awhile his grin brightened right back up again. Temari blinked at her brother then looked to the older one. "Kankuro how long do we have to stay?" She asked just as simply as Gaara had responded before. Kiba called out going up to them as quickly as he could all bandaged up. He blinked to Lee who was grinning like an idiot then shook his head. "I want to say thank you for helping out, can I treat you and your siblings to dinner?" He asked then winced when a nurse came running in. "Oh no you don't Inuzuka-san, you get right back in that room and rest! I am tired of arguing with you!" The nurse yelled at him and dragged him away by his robe. Lee sweat dropped then blinked, Kiba had a good idea. "Uhh howabout I replace Kiba's offer with my own?" He said to the sand siblings. "You can come as well Shikamaru, the mission may have failed but we are all still alive!" The truth was though he just really wanted more time to spend with the redhead, even if other people were around as well.



Kankuro sweat dropped and started walking down the hallway. "Sorry kid but no thanks. Temari you got the money go buy us a hotel room I'll find ya later jaan." He said and fallowed the nurse that was dragging Kiba. Shikamaru sighed; there goes his plan on going home and going to sleep. He looked over at Temari then deiced maybe skipping sleep was not so troublesome. Gaara stood up shakily and nodded to what Lee said. "I think that would be a good way to get back our strength."



"Yosh! Good healthy food! You in or out Shikamaru?" He asked his friend. Temari sighed softly and stood up grabbing her fan. "I am sorry Lee.. I am going to decline that offer, I have things to do.." She said and strode passed all three males. Lee grabbed Gaara's gourd for him then looked back at Shikamaru for his answer.



Shikamaru pouted at this. "Now hang on you troublesome woman where are you going?" He asked shoving his hands in his pockets as he fallowed after the blond. Gaara couldn't help but smirk in amusement at this. "Hm inserting.. I guess your stuck with me Rock Lee.." The sand ninja said and folded his arms.



"Stop calling me troublesome! And it is none of your concern," Lee heard the woman yell before the door closed. "I guess so," He said softly and turned. "What do you like to eat?" he asked casually. However inside Lee was spazzing, 'This counts as a date right?? Well not really but yes.. but ugh! This is so confusing!'



Gaara looked around for a moment not really liking being in hospitals then started walking to the exit. "It doesn't matter I just want to go somewhere that is not loud please.." He replied tiredly.



The leaf ninja lead the smaller male to his favorite restaurant in town which luckily was pretty quiet.
