Fireworks went off in Konoha the moment it was dark enough. The entire town of Konoha was out to party, inviting all of their allies and everything. Even Yukigakure was partying because of Hinata; in their eyes, she was a true hero, choosing to step-up to this challenge and bringing them from the ends of obscurity in just a short, short time. Everyone was dressed in their best kimono and yukata. There were games, activities, events…everything in Konoha had been included in it’s great festival. There were people dancing, eating, catching gold fish and drinking merrily. It was anyone’s guess that Jiraiya was lost in all of the merriment with a drunken Tsunade by his side. When Hinata and Naruto had emerged from the Hokage’s personal home, dressed to their best, everyone cheered. Not bad, considering they’d beaten the tar out of one another just hours ago. The powers of Byakko and Kyuubi were astounding. Hinata was dressed in a dainty light-blue yukata with white, yuki-sakura petals on them. Her long, black hair was pulled into a single, bun with two, long braids coming from the base of the bun and trailing down her back. Naruto was looking just as good, in his favorite, orange kimono with a blue belt around his waist. Everyone just cheered once more. Hinata blushed, giggling when Naruto put his arm around her shoulder. Walking forward with a bushel of flowers in the crook of her arm was Sakura, who was dolled up, quite beautifully, in a dark pink kimono with light pink sakura petals on them. Her pink pair was pulled backwards and out of her face, held with a green butterfly clip. Walking beside her was Sasuke who was wearing a proud smile, wearing a dark-blue kimono with his clan’s symbol white and red fan on the back.

“Congratulations, Naruto-Kun. Here, Hinata-Chan, these are for you.” Sakura smiled.

Hinata happily accepted the flowers, thanking the godparents of her only child.

“Speaking of, where is Hikaru?” Naruto asked.

”He took off playing with Hikari, Tsubasa, Yotsuba and Sun-Ce. Last I saw of them, they were but the goldfish tank.” Sasuke stated matter-of-factly.

“We were all thinking about going to the memorial to watch the midnight fireworks! You guys should come. Everyone else is.” Sakura smiled.

”We’d love to.”

Hinata looked up at the full, white moon. In an hour, not only would there be a Planetary Alignment, but a great fireworks show. Hinata felt as if she could rest easy, knowing Hanzori had changed his ways and her father was locked away. The parents all found themselves watching their children dance to the beat of a popular children’s television show, which included an old kalxon drum in the song and a dancing hamster during the ending credits. The children were imitating the dance perfectly. Sakura was gushing about how cute her daughter was, but had to hit a passerby when they agreed that Tsubasa was the cutest ‘girl’ they’d ever seen. Hikari and Hikaru were dancing in perfect tandem together. No one doubted that the son of the great Hokage and the daughter of Konoha’s finest medical-nin and ANBU agent would eventually get together. It wasn’t until half an hour before the fireworks and Planetary Alignment that the parents began rounding up their children and started making their way over to the Hokage memorial, with a face of Uzumaki Naruto carved into it now. Hikari ran over to Hinata, grabbing her yukata.

”Yes, sweetie?”

”Hikaru-Chan’s not coming.”

”Why not?” Hinata replied.

“Because a man took Hikaru-Chan away.”

Hinata’s eyes widened and she scanned the crowds for her child, but no sign of him.

”NARUTO!” she screamed.

Hinata’s scream had caught the attention of her husband and their friends, all dressed in wonderful yukata and kimono.

”What’s the matter?”

”Hikaru’s missing!”

Under any other circumstances, Naruto wouldn’t have been worried, but tonight, it terrified him.

”He’s probably just playing around somewhere. He always does that.” Sakura smiled.

”No, mommy! A man said Hikaru had to go with him!” Hikari protested.

The parents became more and more uneasy.

“Maybe he went over by the Hokage Memorial. You know, the special meeting spot and all!”

Hinata prayed TenTen was right. By the time they had reached the memorial, the fireworks show had already started and still, no sight of Hikaru. Hinata’s scream pierced through the crowds once more.

”NARUTO LOOK UP!”

Naruto squinted to see in the blaze of colors, but surely enough, there was someone standing atop of the Hokage memorial, with something next to him.

“SHIKAMARU! KIBA! CEASE THE FIREWORKS AND GET SOME SPOTLIGHTS UP THERE!”

Within twenty seconds, the fireworks had stopped and two searchlights were shining brightly at the top of the Hokage memorial. People were in a panic when they saw Hanzori Hyuuga standing atop of the memorial. Slowly, behind him, the red moon was beginning to rise.

“HANZORI!” Naruto yelled.

Everyone cleared the way for the Hokage who stood at the bottom of the great memorial. Hanzori stood casually, arms crossed over his chest. By his side, tied up was an unconscious…

”HIKARU!” Sasuke barked.

”Hanzori! What is the meaning of this?!” Hinata yelled.

Hanzori looked down upon the bright down, all focused on him. He looked at his beautiful, baby sister. Loud enough for everyone to hear him, he replied,

”Simple, my younger sister! After so long, I finally have the pieces I need to raise Gobi No Houkou!”

Just hearing the dog-demon’s name sent the town into a panic. Just when the red moon reached it’s midnight alliance, Hanzori laughed maniacally.

”NOW! The time is upon us!”

When he grabbed Hikaru and dangled him over the edge of the memorial like he meant to drop him, Hinata screamed; a loud, eerie mother’s wail for her only child.

“HIKARU!”

The child began to glow an eerie gold color.

”Return to me, your original form…! I CALL THE PIECES OF GOBI’S TALISMAN!”

Gaara’s gasp of panic was the first to be heard. Everyone watched the Kazekage, his sister, Temari, the Kusakage, their Hokage, Naruto, and lastly, the Yukikage, Hinata all suddenly begin to glow. From Gaara’s sand gourd, his part of the talisman, exploded out of the gourd and rushed towards Hikaru’s glowing body. Hinata tried desperately to hang on to her piece, even after all the missing pieces were in Hanzori’s hand. Hinata was unexpectedly yanked off the ground.

”HINATA!”

The Hokage rushed towards the memorial, Sasuke and Neji by his side while the rest of his friends hung back, watching the children. Everyone rushed upwards to the Hokage memorial, just in time to see Hikaru’s body levitating in front of a terror-stricken Hinata who could only watch.

”Now! The final piece…!”

They watched as the Paw of Gobi erupted from the child’s glowing body. His body continued to levitate there, even when the final piece of the talisman was competed and the completed key was in Hanzori’s hands. Sasuke ran towards Hikaru, trying to grab him, but was almost propelled off the memorial by a barrier.

“YOU BASTARD! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!” Naruto yelled.

“Ah, just who I wanted to see…Naruto Uzumaki…give me Kyuubi!” Hanzori demanded.

“Over my dead body…!” he growled, kneeling next to Hinata.

“Well, maybe over my daughter’s dead body…” a sinister voice chuckled.

From behind Hanzori, stood Hiashi Hyuuga. Well and walking on his own.

”How?! How the hell…?!” Neji growled low in his throat.

”Ah, my darling nephew…How is not important as why.” Hiashi said cryptically.

Before anyone could say anything, Hiashi made a very unfamiliar jutsu symbol. The completed key in Hanzori’s hand began glowing brightly. When Hinata stood up, slowly walking towards them, no one knew what to think…Until Naruto saw the soulless look in her eye.

”HINATA! HINATA STOP!”

From below, terrified townspeople watched as an amazing light came from Hinata’s body, blinding everyone for a moment.

”Oh…My…God…” Temari’s eyes widened.

The light faded, revealing Hinata’s body limply falling forward. Standing behind the great memorial, larger than life was the great guardian of North…Byakko. Naruto rushed over to Hinata’s body, which was as cold as ice. Lifeless. Naruto grit his teeth, ignoring Sasuke’s and Sakura’s protests to keep himself calm. Slowly standing, Naruto held his lifeless wife in his arms and a bright glowing came from him.

“You…you bastards want Kyuubi so…bad…?”

The bright orange light almost overtook the entire sky as Naruto yelled in a mixture of rage and anguish,

”YOU CAN HAVE HIM! JUST GIVE ME BACK HINATA AND MY SON!”

The ground of Konoha began violently shaking and people scattered, trying to get away from the frenzy, going so far as to run over one another. Naruto’s friends stayed, however, damned if they were just going to sit by and watch. Like the devil himself rising from depths of hell, all of Naruto’s orange chakra began filtering out of his body until the flesh and blood Kyuubi was standing beside Byakko, both creatures roaring ferociously, an iron collar around their necks. Were they still under some sort of control?

”K…Kyuubi…” Sakura’s eyes widened in panic.

Neji and Sasuke rushed to Naruto who was surprisingly still conscious, but…his eyes were sad. Cold and just as lifeless as the woman he held in his arms.

“We have to get out of here, now!” Neji yelled.

”N…no…not without my son…” Naruto growled.

Sasuke went to make another break for Hikaru, but was forced backwards by the same barrier encompassing his young body.

”Now, now! The show is just starting! GOBI! COME FORTH! THOSE WHO GAVE YOU BIRTH ARE HERE! TAKE THIS CHILD AS YOUR SACRAFICE!”

Hikaru’s eyes flew open, revealing a mysterious golden color. Sasuke and Neji dragged Naruto and Hinata off of the memorial, meeting up with their friends at the very bottom.

“HINATA-CHAN!” TenTen sobbed.

The monsters’ thunderous roars shook the entire ground. Several ANBU and Jounin began using weapons, trying to hit Hanzori and Hiashi, but they simply bounced off of a barrier created around them. Another bright flash caught everyone’s attention. Hikaru’s body ceased glowing and fell straight down. Sasuke jumped out, catching the child in his arms, panting heavily, as if he’d just felt the greatest fear of all. The child was still warm. The key began glowing, taking the form of the behemoth, Gobi no Houkou. He announced his presence with an Earth-Shattering howl.

“Th…they did it…Kyuubi, Byakko and Gobi…have all awakened…” Sakura barely whispered.
