A Troublesome Christmas
Yaoiloverclause: This is it! The LAST chapter of this book! If you all wonder why the hell I’m make a NejiShika then all I have to tell you is…eating ramen with eggnog may not be a good idea after spending six hours on the computer a day…and I read a kool story about them and said "Oh what the hey, I'll make one with them, plus two people asked me to make one anyway!"
Naruto: Wow, you really HAVE no life!

Present 7. A Troublesome Christmas
Shikamaru was lying on the frozen grass looking at the white sky. Since it was snowing last night, the sky was full of clouds. That would make Shikamaru very happy right? Well it doesn't because the whole sky is covered in clouds, so he can't see any shape at all, the grass is wetting his back and ass and it was cold as hell. But Shikamaru still came out anyway. He had nothing else to do so he actually had no choice.
"This is so troublesome," the lazy boy sighed as he closed his eyes. Just then he heard someone walking his way. 'It might be Ino again' he sighed as he pretended to be asleep.
When the footsteps were just above his head, Shikamaru started to slowly open his eyes. He looked up to see no one? 'What the hell?' the boy quickly sat up. He looked around for the person but saw no one. He then heard flapping below him. He looked down to see a person with dark long hair wearing a damp white yukata holding a bird in its hands. The bird spread it's wings and flew into the sky.
Shikamaru looked at the bird fly away, he slightly smiled before he lay back down. 'Well, at least it wasn't Ino' just as he was about to fall back asleep, someone tapped his shoulder. "What?" he asked in annoyance as he kept his eyes closed.
"You'll catch a cold if you stay out here," the person said.
‘That voice,’ Shikamaru opened his eyes to see that Neji was staring at him. “I should say the same to you, you’re wearing cloths that can make you freeze in a second,” he said as he looked away when he saw Neji’s upper thigh through the fabric
“I just finish cleansing myself,” Neji said as he offered a hand.
Shikamaru closed his eyes once more, “Cleansing, I though people stopped doing that,”
“Not my family,” Neji said in an annoyed tone.
Shikamaru looked at Neji, he was about to say something but he forgot when he looked into the other’s eyes. ‘I’ve never noticed that his eyes are the same color of clouds…’ he couldn’t stop looking until Neji turned around.
“Is something interesting about me?” Negi asked as he sat down by the lazy boy.
“No, it’s just odd. Not interesting,” Shikamaru said as he closed his eyes.
Ne3ji raised an eyebrow, “Oh? What’s so odd about me?”
The lazy boy yawned before saying, “You’re eyes,”
“What about my eyes?”
“They just remind me of something,” he said quietly.
“Like what?”
Unfortunately Shikamaru fell asleep after saying “something” Neji raised an eyebrow before picked the boy up and walked home. He didn’t know what else to do, he sure wasn’t going to let someone freeze especially Shikamaru. To Neji, Shikamaru is intelligent boy that deserve to be a Chuunin.
At Neji’s house…
Shikamaru woke up in a soft white bed, he looked around to see that he was obviously wasn’t in his room. He sat up and looked out the window, it had a good sight for cloud watching but now wasn’t a good time to look. He nearly jumped when the door opened. He turned to see Neji walking in with a tray that had a cup of warm milk, two pieces of toast, and one scrambled egg.
“Oh, you’re finally awake,” the Hyuuga said as he set the tray down and sat on the edge of the bed.
“How did I get here?” Shikamaru asked as he reached for the cup of milk.
Neji got up, picked up the cup and handed it to the lazy boy. “You fell asleep,”
Shikamaru took a sip of the liquid before asking, “Yeah I know, but how did I get here?”
“I took you here,” Neji said as he picked up the whole tray and set it on Shikamaru’s lap.
“Why?” the lazy boy asked as he took a bit of the toast.
“I wasn’t going to leave someone in the cold like that,” Neji answered as he walked to the closet.
“So, whose room is this?” Shikamaru asked as he put some of the egg on the toast.
“Mine,” Neji said as he took out navy blue shorts and a white sweater. “There wasn’t any other room so I put you in here,”
Shikamaru nodded as he opened his mouth to take a bit of his egg-covered toast, when he heard ruffling he liked up to see Neji’s bare back and boxers. He dropped his toast and gasped. The boy’s back was slender and pale, almost pale like Sasuke’s. (Yaoiloverclause: Don’t ask how he knew how pale Sasuke’s back is, just don’t ask) His face burned as Neji’s hands reached to the hem of the boxers and started lowering it. Shikamaru quickly looked away before he stuffed the dropped toast into his mouth.
Neji quickly put on a new pair of boxers and shorts, he then put on his shirt and sweater before he turned to see if Shikamaru’s done with his food. The boy raised an eyebrow as he looked at the blushing Chuunin. The other’s cheeks were big like a chipmunk. “Are you chocking?”
Shikamaru spit out his food when he heard Neji’s voice. ‘That scared the hell out of me!’ He coughed for a moment before turning to the older boy. “I was…” he said in a ragged tone.
“Well, it’s looks like you’re done with food,” Neji said as he looked at the mess on his sheets. “I’ll be back,” he said as he picked up the tray and walked out the door.
Thirty minuets later…
Neji came back into the room with a new set of sheets and a cordless phone. “You’re mom called,”
“Tell her I’m dead,” Shikamaru said as he got up to let Neji change the bed.
“Well, are going to be here for the party then?” Neji asked as he threw the messy sheets into the hamper next to the bed.
“What party?” Shikamaru asked as he sat back down.
“The Christmas party my family is having,” Neji said as he sat next to Shikamaru.
“No, I don’t really like parties,” the lazy boy sighed.
Neji looked out the window, “You’re teammates and friends are going to be there,”
“Yeah, but I still not going,”
“Me either,” Neji said as he stood up.
“Ade?” Shikamaru looked up at the other boy.
Neji walked to the window and touched the cold glass, “I just asked you if you’re going so I could tell you where you’re going to wait.”
“Oh, so what are you going to do?”
“Walk around until the party is over, you want to come”
Shikamaru raised an eyebrow before answering, “…Okay,”
Before the party…
Neji and Shikamaru were heading out the door when the doorbell rang. Hinata quickly answered it and greeted the guest. Unfortunately she fainted when she realized she was talking to Naruto. Of course Neji got pissed and almost killed Naruto, if it wasn’t for Sasuke and Shikamaru Naruto would have lost an arm.
“That was rude you bastard!” Naruto yelled as he cradled his injured arm.
“Well you did make Hinata faint and all,” Shikamaru pointed out.
“But all I did was say hi!” Naruto winded.
“…I’m leaving, some one Shikamaru,” Neji said as he opened the front door.
“You two are together?” Naruto asked as he looked at Neji with hope.
Shikamaru eyes widened. “What?!”
Naruto smiled happily, “That’s great! Good job Neji-”
“We have to go NOW,” Neji growled as he grabbed Shikamaru’s arm and dragged the boy out the door.
When they got far enough to not hear Naruto’s voice, Neji let go of Shikamaru’s arm and started walking. Shikamaru looked at Neji for a second before following. “What was that all about?”
“Nothing, Naruto is just being stupid,” Neji growled.
Shikamaru frowned, “What’s wrong with you?”
“Nothing,”
Shikamaru put his hands on his hips, “Yeah and I’m the loudest boy in town.”
Neji stopped walking, “…”
Shikamaru rolled his eyes, “Oh come on, just tell me, it’s not like I’m going to hate you for it,”
“…” Neji faced the lazy boy.
Shikamaru sighed, “Jeez you’re so troublesome-”
Neji grabbed Shikamaru’s shoulders and kissed him. Shikamaru’s eyed widened before he twitched his lip in response. Neji pulled away and looked at Shikamaru’s reaction.
“…That was it?”
Neji frowned, “What do you mean ‘That was it?’”
“You were mad because of a kiss, god no one ever heard of asking. This is so troublesome,” The boy sighed, “You only had to ask and I would’ve kissed you,”
“…” Neji looked away.
Shikamaru sighed before made Neji face him; he then leaned up and kissed Neji on the lips. “You’re too cocky for your own good,” he said as he pulled away.
Neji closed his eyes and started walking. Shikamaru sighed before he started following behind.

Naruto: Yeah, you make Kakashi’s timing look good

Naruto: you call a few leather straps and reindeer horns cloths? What the hell is wrong with you? I thought I was suppose to be an elf!
Yaoiloverclause: oh, elf ears didn’t look right so I put reindeer horns! I even drew a picture of you wearing that out fit, I’m giving it to my favorite authors! And if you guys want to see it, then you have to ask the author’s permission because those pictures are for them!
