“Now look up at the board and see how fights first.” The announcer said.

Sasuke vs. Yuta

The story begins

'Oh that’s great not only is Sasuke hurt but now he has to fight the first round well good luck buddy.' Naruto thought looking at him.

Sasuke walked over to the center while everyone else walked up the stairs. Naruto right off the bat knew Sasuke was in pain so he couldn’t do any jutsus.

The ref. came up and yelled “Hajime”.

Sasuke ran forward and tried to hit the guy but missed and was sent flying back when the guy countered. Sasuke tried to get up but was stopped when the other ninja grabbed him by the head and started to suck out Sasuke’s chakra.

Naruto watching this up in the balcony and was mildly interested at how Sasuke would get out of the attack but he did and used what looked like leaf shadow dance with a few alterations. What did surprise Naruto was when he saw that Sasuke had dark like leaves cover him but they soon disappeared afterwards.

‘But how did he learn that move? Did he copy it from someone else? Now matter it can be easily countered’.

What Sasuke had done was hit the guy on the chin making fly up then he went under the guy and elbowed him in the side while finishing it up with powerful kick all in the air.

“Not bad Sasuke I might just do something like that myself”. Naruto muttered.

Winner Sasuke

Sasuke was so tired he started to fall but Kakashi had caught him.

‘So Kakashi’s your sensei not to bad’. Naruto thought trying really had not to touch his neck.

“Hey Naruto are you alright.” Haku said quietly while Naruto only nodded.

“Hey you want to hang out with Sasuke’s team?” Naruto said walking over to them.

“No not right now but maybe later.” Haku said smiling.

Naruto only shrugged before going over.

“Hey Sakura so Sasuke did pretty good huh.” Naruto said stopping right beside her.

“I hope Sasuke’s alright.” Sakura said silently.

“Don’t worry about him, he’ll probably be fine. What you need to worry about is when your fight comes up.” Naruto said casually.

“Hey Naruto.” Shikamaru said walking up with his team.

“Hey guys, I’m glad you made it through the forest and thanks for helping out.” Naruto said.

Haku who was a little bit away from Naruto and the rest smiled. He was finally opening up. Naruto wasn’t being cold and distant but actually talking to strangers.

“Hey Kira you now what the plan is right? We need to do it right when they attack. I want you to gather all of the spies and give them this letter.” Haku said giving a piece of paper to Kira how pocketed it.

“What about Jin.” Kira said Haku looked over at her. Always with curt answers.

“he has already done his job but I think that we will have to scrap that plan now because of Naruto.” Haku said. Kira looked over at Haku. Always the mother hen.

“So are you ready for your match?” Kiba said to Naruto.

“Well kind of…” Naruto couldn’t say anymore when an extreme burst of pain came up his spine to his head.

Naruto quickly grabbed his neck and put pressure on it while gritting his teeth.

“Are you alright.” Sakura whispered. She knew he also had the same thing as did Sasuke and was really worried.

“Yeah don’t worry it comes and goes.” Naruto said putting his hand down. ‘Damn it why did I use my hand’.

“You sure you’re alright man.” Kiba spoke up and Naruto only nodded.

At the other side of the balcony a junin with the sound was looking at Naruto smiling before vanishing on the spot.

There were a couple more battles but Naruto wasn’t paying attention to them. Instead he was looking around like always and talking to Sakura and Hinata. That’s when he didn’t see Kabuto anywhere.

“Hey what happened to Kabuto?” Naruto said to no one particular.

“He left before we started the primaries.” Said Choji while eating.

What he left and these are just the primaries? Man where have I been? I really need to start paying attention.

Before Naruto could think anymore a puff of smoke appeared behind them to revile Kakashi.

“Kakashi sensei where have you been?” Sakura said.

“I was just taking Sasuke to the hospital.” Kakashi said looking at Naruto.

“Why would Sasuke go to the hospital”. Kiba said.

“Oh he just depleted his chakra so he’s resting no worries. By the way who are you?” Kakashi said looking at Naruto again.

Kakashi knew he looked familiar and when he saw the Hokage gaze up at the young blonde he knew something was up. They had reports from Cloud that they were going to send some shinobi here.

“This is Naruto from Cloud and that’s his teammates over there.” Sakura said pointing to Haku and Kira.

“Hey Naruto your up.” Sakura said pointing to the board.

Naruto vs. Kiba

“Well Kiba good luck and may the best man win.” Naruto said walking down the stairs.

“Yeah and that’s going to be me.” Kiba said jumping of the balcony to land on the arena.

Naruto got into his fighting stance and waited.

The ref. came up and yelled “Hajime”.

Naruto took out a kunai and started to run at kiba. Like Naruto had predicted Kiba was using his dog so he would have to be fast.

Naruto jumped up and threw the kunai while Kiba blocked it and made a punch at Naruto. He blocked the punch and kicked Kiba in the gut making him skip a few meters away.

Kiba then gave his dog a pill so the thing would be ten times more powerful. Just great, thought Naruto as he ran at Kiba.

Kiba only smiled and jumped up as did his dog twisting in the air and aiming at Naruto.

Naruto couldn’t dodge so he let the attack hit him making him slam into the wall.

‘Not bad Kiba but that really didn't hurt’. Naruto thought straitening up.

‘Ok I need to use chakra but maybe a small amount won’t bother me’. Then Naruto started to do some seals while taking out a kunai.

The pain was getting worse but Naruto pushed it down while jumping in the air and yelling, “ Shadow kunai no jutsu.”

Then Naruto threw the kunai and soon there was fifty coming at kiba.

Kiba tried to dodge but five had cut through his skin. It stung him making him hesitate for a couple of seconds. While he was distracted Naruto ran behind Kiba doing another jutsu when the seal opened.

Naruto could feel the pain growing and soon he saw the dark leaf like marks on his hand rapidly growing.

Up on the balcony Sakura was looking at Naruto worried. She turned to Kakashi.

“What’s happening? Why are the marks appearing?” Sakura asked Kakashi.

“I don’t know but I’m going to have to stop the fight if this gets out of control.” Kakashi said looking at Naruto.

Naruto in the meantime was winning the battle of pushing the marks back in the seal just like Sasuke did.

‘I’m not going to lose here and I’m not going to lose to Sasuke’.

Naruto then finished the jutsu and yelled “ Kondon dark wall of flame” through gritted teeth.

Suddenly a huge wall of flame appeared around Kiba closing him in it. Naruto moved his hand down and the wall crushed Kiba.

Naruto then polled his hand up making the firewall disappear. Kiba and his dog where on the ground unconscious but not dead.

Winner Naruto the ref. said.

Hearing this Naruto started to walk but couldn’t seem to move all that great. He started to stumble and would have fallen if it weren’t for Itachi’s hand on his shoulder stabling him.

“You did pretty good and you even let him live.” Itachi said.

Naruto only smiled before he completely blacked out.

‘Yeah you just put to much strain on yourself well lets get you out of here’. Itachi thought picking Naruto up and walking over to Kakashi.

“Are you sure you can seal it.” Itachi said to Kakashi.

“Yeah I already sealed the other one.” Kakashi said grabbing Naruto from Itachi.

When Naruto woke up Kakashi was carrying him.

‘Why is Kakashi carrying me? What happened to the other fights?’

“What happened?” Naruto asked him. Kakashi looked down and smiled.

“You used to much chakra and that curse seal didn’t help either.” Kakashi said walking into a room.

“Oh so you already know, what are you going to do?” Naruto asked curiously.

“I’m going to seal it up like I did with Sasuke.” Kakashi said putting Naruto down in a circle with a bunch of writing all over it. Then he helped Naruto take off his black shirt.

“Now try to relax this is going to hurt a little.” Kakashi said while writing on Naruto’s back.

Kakashi stepped back and did some hand seals then he slammed his hands on the ground yelling, “Seal”.

Naruto could feel the words that Kakashi wrote come up his back towards the seal. It hurt like a bitch but he tried not to yell out so he gritted his teeth. It felt like it was burning his insides traveling up to his brain.

When it was done Naruto was panting trying not to fall into darkness.

“It’s done now you can rest Naruto.” Kakashi said and that was all Naruto needed to hear before falling on the ground.

Kakashi looked at Naruto a little more before he picked him up and carried him to the hospital.

You really do you like the fourth, Kakashi thought walking out of the room.

Meanwhile back with Itachi and Haku. They were watching the matches.

“So do you trust Kakashi?” Haku said quietly.

“Yes I do and no he doesn’t know who I am or any of us. And yes we are going to abandon the job. I got a message from Kakato and he said he also agreed with me.” Itachi said.

“You now Naruto and Sasuke aren’t going to like this.” Haku said looking at Itachi.

“It’s for there safety as well as the Leaf and Cloud. The Hokaze already suspects something. I also want Sasuke’s whole team to come and anyone else.” Itachi finished.

Haku looked at him worried. He didn’t know it was this bad but Itachi was worried. He would throw away the plan and take as many as he could to safety.

Then Kakashi reappeared behind Sakura smiling.

“So is he alright?” Sakura said.

“Yes he is Sakura.” Kakshi said walking over to Itachi.

“So it’s the curse seal isn’t.” Itachi said and Kakashi nodded.

“Well thank you for helping him.” Itachi said vanishing.

When the primary matches were complete Orochimaru went outside to talk to Kabuto.

“So what did you learn”. Orochimaru said.

“From what I gathered it’s most likely Tanden. It helps the user to not only predict his opponent’s moves but can also see into the future with what his opponent will do. You can also semi copy an attack.” Kabuto finished pushing up his glasses.

“I see that is very interesting. I want to move up the attack. When the third test starts get ready you got that Kabuto.” Orochimaru said.

Orochimaru looked at how Kabuto nervous. Did he really want me to win or does he want me dead? This is very interesting. And that bloodline the Tanden is very rare and on top of that he is the Kyuubi’s vessel.

“If you don’t want me to get stronger then you will have to kill him.” Orochimaru said smiling. He wanted to test his servant.

“I would not do that Orochimaru-sama, now please excess me.” Kabuto said vanishing. Orochimaru was wondering if he really would go as far as to kill them before also vanishing.

At the hospital Naruto and Sasuke were in the same room together with Anbu guarding them.

Next: Plan so what is the plan? Well I think it involves Naruto, Sasuke his team and Hinata… Maybe more.

Where will we go? The Cloud? Naruto thought. Wait what did you say Haku I have to play dead!
