Chapter Six: A new Naruto

Naruto woke up feeling like shit, his hair all in a tangled mess. He sat up his head swaying from side to side, his eyes slit like, refusing to open, wishing to shut again so to go back to the land of nod.

“UR…” He jumped out of bed on the right side (left side had a wall and window) made his way to bathroom directly in front of him, with a groaning shuffle of feet constant murmuring to himself, that coffee was needed…soon.

The bathroom was a shambles, to say the least, in front of Naruto lay the sink, which held his toothpast, his tooth-brush, it was clean, but the beginning’s of green mold, the signs of damp, were starting to appear on the wall behind it, and with another groan Naruto, like a well oiled machine, began to clean his teeth, and wash his face.

After the had gone through the daily list of feeding himself and walking himself with a nice cup of coffee, he made his way back to his bedroom, and started looking for his usual clothes, sending thing flying left, right and centre, he stopped, after he sent things on his bedside flying, onto his bed.

“What?” That’s when he herd the sound sound of a music box playing, and looking for the point of that sound, he found it one the bed, plus the shining glare of light being reflected off the surface.

“What’s…this?” Naruto stare at the shining object lying on the bed playing the sad melody, and walked over to it, picking it up, by the chain, looking at it with sad eyes, but smiled, remembering the events of last night, or whenever that had happened, tying it around his neck, and shutting it with a soft click.

“My first and only gift…time to go scho…”

“That isn’t the only present…Naruto.” Naruto turned around to find Kyuubi standing there, and pointed a finger at him.

“How did you…” Kyuubi smiled

“Teleporting…and no it isn’t what you humans do, it’s instant.” Kyuubi held out a wrapped parcel, with one of his tails, smiling, Naruto took it sitting on the bed, Kyuubi joining him, as Naruto opened it.

“What…clothes?” Naruto looked at Kyuubi puzzled yet pleased at once, Kyuubi reached behind his back, bringing out the leaf forehead protector, dangling it between thumb and index finger.

“Oh…don’t forget this… ‘Ninja’ Naruto, oh and I destroyed what you once called clothes.” Naruto eye popped out of his head at that remark.

“You…WHAT!” Kyuubi just wrapped an arm around him hugging him close and stroking his hair gently while leaning his head on his head, his long hair draping around Naruto like a veil, but quickly gathered it, drapping it over the boy’s shoulder, and resumed with softly stroking his hair.

“That orange…monstrosity, didn’t show off your fine (running a finger down his clothed chest and a tail down his spine, making him shudder)…physical…form, better.” Naruto shivered, as Kyuubi whispered in his ear, then leaned down and kissed him on his forehead, before letter him go, and walking to the other side of the room, and leaning against the wall.
Folding his arms over his chest, and giving a fine seductive smile at Naruto, but the said boy wasn’t looking at his face but at the silver locket around his neck.

“Where, did you get that?” Kyuubi looked down picking it off his chest, running his fingers over it gently to get the detail and texture of the silver, and image, looking at the one around Naruto’s neck.

“I made them for you and me.” Naruto stared for a second, then looked down at his own locket turning it over, finding on the back- (My heart will always belong to you)- written in fancy handwriting, and looked at Kyuubi with a faint blush on his face, at which he quickly turned away, and picked up his new clothes and marched off to the bathroom.

“I like him when he’s like this.” Kyuubi thought with a smile on his face, and waited for Naruto to come out with his clothes on, well the only set since he had destroyed the others, thinking he needed and change and deserved better, than these filthy humans could offer

When Naruto emerged Kyuubi just smiled knowingly. “Beautiful.”
“Do I look...ok?” Kyuubi walked over to him smiling.

“Why don’t you see with your own eyes…hmm?” With that, he ran his hand from his level to the floor, and seconds later a thing later of pure ice formed, showing Naruto to himself. Naruto’s mouth was wide open.

“Is that me?” Naruto looked at his reflection, for in front of him he saw a young blonde male with a brown coat, which was a mild brown, long-sleeved coat, reaching to just above his ankles, on his feet he wore his sandals, because that was the only piece of clothing Kyuubi had left intact. How wore cream trousers, black finer-less gloves, and a tight black tee shirt, also he wore his head-band

“Yes…and are you happy that I got rid of the things you called clothes…hmm? If you don’t like it or the colour, I can change it.” Naruto shook his head, giving no verbal answer, and Kyuubi clicked his fingers, and the mirror vanished. Then Naruto looked at the clock.

“FUCK…I’M LATE!” And so he ran off his new cape flapping as he ran out the door with a slam.

“I’ll see you later then…love.” Kyuubi said with a smile fingering his locket between his finger, opening it to here its tune (it’s the same tune as Naruto’s) and disappeared as his image faded from the apartment, the sound of the melody soon fading after.
