Chapter Seven
Hey all, thanks so much to everyone who reviewed. Sorry this is late, just been so busy and with christmas nearly here, it's just been stressful.
Anyway, hope you all like this chapter. Enjoy.
Oh and there will be quite a bit of Anita bashing in this chapter. Sorry to fans who like her.

Chapter Seven
The next night, they were once again in female form and tailing Anita when she went to work. It was boring, and Naruto was feeling really sick, and he had been pouting and glaring at Sasuke rather a lot. He sighed in relief as Anita finally made her way into the Circus of the Damned, where he knew the woman was spending the night, which meant they had finished, and were allowed to spend the night how they wished.
“What do you want to do now dobe?” Sasuke asked.
Naruto shrugged. “Don’t care.” He mumbled.
Sasuke gritted his teeth and forced himself to stay calm. According to Kyuubi, Naruto was three months pregnant and they had six months left. Months of emotions and hoping Naruto would not beat the shit out of him. He was also worried and wished for Naruto to be seen by a doctor.
Walking back into the Circus of the Damned, he nodded as Neji and Gaara left for their rooms and he pulled Naruto in the direction of theirs. When they were safely in their room, Sasuke made Naruto lay down, which he did obediently, which made Sasuke wonder why Naruto was being good. He waited till his dobe was asleep before leaving the room.

Anita stood with her arms crossed and she was glaring at Asher. She had been so happy with the miracle that had happened and restored the blonde vampires face, but she was angry that he was keeping things from her. She wanted to know what had happened between him and Naruto. She was used to getting her own way, and now she was being denied answers and she didn’t like it. “Damn it.” She hissed. “I demand you tell me, this instant.” She growled.
Asher glared at the woman he had once loved, but had slowly come to detest. She had many good qualities, but the one that made him hate her was the one that she wouldn’t share her men. It was alright for all the men in her life to share her, but it wasn’t allowed the other way around, which meant he and Jean-Claude had to be together in secret when she was not around. His glare hardened. “I am sorry, but I made an oath and I will be keeping it. Your just jealous because for once you are not the centre of attention.”
Anita’s jaw dropped, but was cut off from replying when someone knocked on the door.
“Enter.” Jean-Claude called, silently thanking whoever it was for interrupting what could have very well turned into a nasty argument.
The door opened and Sasuke entered. He ignored the glare from the dark haired woman and turned to Asher. “May I speak with you in private?”
Asher nodded and began to leave, when Anita stood in his way. “No, whatever it is you have to say, you can say it here.” She said firmly.
Asher and Sasuke glared. “Then I will speak with him when you are not here.” Sasuke said and began to leave.
“Wait.” Asher said. “Do not dare think you can order me around.” Asher said, his voice lowering dangerously. He moved aside and followed the dark haired teen from the room.
“What can I do for you?” He asked as soon as the door was closed.
Sasuke pursed his lips. “Naruto’s pregnant.” He saw Asher’s jaw drop slightly, but the vampire was working hard to keep his expression clear. “I was wondering whether there was a doctor who could examine him?”
Asher was in shock, a man who was pregnant, but in the world he lived in, he had seen and heard of many unusual things. “Yes, there is. I will contact her. Will you want this to remain a secret?”
“Yes, I know it’s hard and puts a strain on your relationships, but I want Naruto and my child to stay safe.”
Asher nodded. “I understand.” He didn’t like keeping this from Jean-Claude, but he had no problem keeping it from Anita. “I will let you know as soon as I have contacted her.”
Sasuke nodded. “Thank you.” He walked away and Asher returned to the room, where Anita was ranting at Jean-Claude.
She stopped when the door opened and glared. “What was that all about?”
Asher ignored her. “Will you contact Dr Lillian for me? I have need of her.”
The dark haired vampire just nodded and lifted the phone. He would ask questions later.
While he was talking, Anita worked on Asher once more. “Please Asher. Please tell me.”
Asher sighed, she thought being sweet would get what she wanted. “Don’t even try to act nice. I cannot tell you.” He caught her arm, as she swung for him. His hand tightened on her arm. “I am beginning to dislike you very much. I will not be returning to your bed again.” He pushed the now gob-smacked woman away from him and turned to Jean-Claude who had finished the phone call and was now standing. He too was in shock. What was happening? Things seemed to be coming apart. It was not just because of the arrival of Naruto and his friends, he had noticed this strain between Anita and Asher for many months now and he was sad, sad because he wanted to keep the three of them together. He could see why Asher was starting to hate Anita, he too felt these feelings, but he wouldn’t, no couldn’t push Anita out of his life. Shaking his thoughts away, he would pursue them at another time. “Dr Lillian will be here within the hour.”
“Thank you Jean-Claude.” He left the room.
Anita was looking after him with her mouth open and her eyes wide. She turned to the dark haired vampire. “Did he mean that?” She asked.
“I’m afraid so, Anita.” She flinched at him saying her name, he rarely called her by her name. She didn’t know what was happening, things had been going down hill for a while now, and with Naruto and his friends here, things had just got worse.
“What now?” She asked.
“There is nothing we can do, I’m afraid. Once Asher has made up his mind, nothing will change it.” Jean-Claude leant back in his chair and closed his eyes. He didn’t blame Asher, but he would miss his love when Anita stayed the night. “Dr Lillian will be here shortly, maybe you should go!”
“I’m not going anywhere. I want to know what is going on. The were-rats protect me, if I can’t get answers from anyone here, then hopefully they will.” She stormed out of the room, and glared at all who looked at her.

Dr Lillian, with her guard Fredo, entered the Circus of the Damned and into Jean-Claude’s office. She nodded in greeting to Anita, who had stationed her beside her lover. “Hello Anita.” She nodded to Jean-Claude. “Who is my patient today?”
The door opened and Asher entered. “Please come with me, I will take you to him.”
Dr Lillian followed the vampire from the room, with Fredo behind her. Asher led them to Naruto and Sasuke’s room, and knocked on the door, before opening it. He ushered the two inside, but held a hand out as Anita tried to enter. “I’m sorry, but Sasuke and Naruto wish for this to be confidential.”
Anita looked to Lillian, the woman shook her head. “I’m sorry Anita, you should know about patient/doctor confidentiality.”
The door closed and Anita glared at it. Was it so wrong to know what was going on? She sighed and went back to Jean-Claude.

Meanwhile Sasuke looked at the woman doctor, and nodded in approval. “Will you promise this will not leave the room?” He asked, his hands massaging Naruto’s shoulders.
“You have my word.” Lillian answered.
“I’m am Sasuke, and this is my lover Naruto, he’s three months pregnant, and I would like you to examine him to make sure he is alright.” He looked at the woman closely to gauge her reaction, but there wasn’t one. She just nodded and began taking out objects from her large bag.
“Okay, let me take your blood pressure, hold out your arm.” She said and began to do an examination…
“Well, everything seems to be fine. I would like you to come to see me.” She said and pulled out a card. “At this address, and I will be able to give you a scan.” She handed the dark haired boy the card. “My phone number is on there too, if you need me for any reason, even if it’s just reassurance, please call me.” She smiled, she had only been in the their presence for a little while, but she was already fond of the blonde boy, and he had the most beautiful blue eyes.
“Thank you Dr Lillian.” Naruto said, he was feeling rather shy and a little embarrassed, even though the woman was very nice and the man, who had been introduced as Fredo had been very discreet, not even raising an eyebrow when Sasuke told them he was pregnant.
Sasuke nodded to both of them as they began to leave the room. Lillian turned back. “Oh and make sure you rest, no strenuous activities.” She raised an eyebrow and only left when Naruto nodded.
They went back to Jean-Claude and told him they were done. Anita pushed away from the wall, and looked hopefully to the woman. Lillian ignored her, and she didn’t like that.
“We will be taking our leave. One thing I will say, make sure Naruto gets plenty of rest. If he is working for you, then I suggest you find him something easy for him to do. Good night to you all.” She left with Fredo and closed the door.
Anita glared at Asher, who ignored her. “Do you have need of me tonight?” He asked Jean-Claude.
The dark haired vampire wanted to say yes, but with Anita here, he couldn’t. “No, mon ami. You are free for tonight.”
When Asher had left, he returned his attention to some papers on his desk. Anita pursed her lips. “I wonder why Naruto has to rest, he seemed fine to me. What could be wrong with him.”
“I am in the dark as much as you are.”
“So why don’t you order answers. This isn’t like you Jean-Claude.”
“I know Anita, but I will wait. When Naruto comes to trust me, he might then confide in me. Until then, I will just wait. Do you not have work tonight?”
Anita raised an eyebrow. It was like he was trying to get rid of her. She smiled. “No, why don’t we go to the bedroom.” She suggested.
Jean-Claude just nodded. “As you wish.”
