hey there! are you doing better already? i'm really sorry about what's up with your boyfriend and bestfriend. you may hurt now, but keep in mind, you'll get over it given time. :) anyway, this chapter really set the pace going with the sasuke-gaara rivalry. i like how sasuke was really worried but was hesitant to show it. i found the situation with gaara interesting, so possessive and sure to give sasuke a big competition. i just hope he doesn't get too violent. hope sasuke gets naruto back in his arms real soon! thanks for the update! :)

Sasuke decided to try home one more time before he went to his last resort, Itachi. Yes, he was putting all of his faith in Naruto being home so he wouldn’t have to do that. (Oh god, please be home Naruto.)
Sasuke walked through the main doors and headed to the elevator.

Naruto was standing in front of the condo door.
:Thank you Gaara for saving me and bringing me home. Maybe we can hang out sometime.:
Gaara nodded his head. Naruto went to write something else but was stopped by Gaara’s hand. Gaara lifted Naruto’s chin and pressed his lips against Naruto’s. Naruto went to pull away when he felt a pair of arms grab him from the back and lock him in a hug.
Naruto looked up and saw Sasuke. He smiled brightly at him but Sasuke didn’t notice as he was currently exchanging death glares with the red head.
Naruto looked back and forth between the two. He thought he heard Sasuke growl. He crooked his head to the side in confusion. He couldn’t free his arms to ask what was wrong.
“Well Naruto, I’ll be here to pick you up Friday.”
“He can’t-“ Sasuke went to tell the red head off but he was already in the elevator. This time Sasuke really did growl. That red head bastard had the nerve to wink at Naruto.
“Where the hell were you –“ Sasuke cut himself off when he saw Naruto’s cheek. Sasuke put his hand over the bruise. “Who did this? Was it him?”
Naruto shook his head no.
“Then WHO?”
Naruto looked at Sasuke. Why was he yelling at him?
Sasuke let go of Naruto and walked inside. He wasn’t getting anywhere with the blond. (Damn it)
Naruto scribbled down on the paper everything that happened. He didn’t want Sasuke angry with him.
Sasuke read the page. He could feel his anger boiling inside him. Yes, he’d hunt them down and kill them all. Maybe he would take them to a foreign country, string them up by the feet then blind fold a bunch of kids. Yeah, then give them bats with nails sticking out and tell them if they hit hard enough candy will come out. Yes, it was perfect. That’s what he’d do.
Naruto tapped on Sasuke’s shoulder, holding up another paper.
:I’m sorry:
“What the hell for, you idiot?”
Naruto rose his eyebrow. Wasn’t Sasuke angry with him?
Sasuke sighed. He really was a dobe.
“I’m not mad at you. Take a shower and go to bed. At 4:00 we’re going to the doctor’s office.”
Naruto drew a question mark. Sasuke felt a headache coming.
“We’re going to get you checked out. Maybe they can get your voice working again.”
Naruto nodded. Before he walked off he leaned up and kissed Sasuke’s cheek. (It made Naruto happy that Sasuke was worried.)
Sasuke sat on the couch. He’d take a shower after Naruto. He reached over and grabbed the phone and dialed the number to the office.
“Sakura, I’m not coming in today. Take messages and reschedule appointments.”
“Sir-“
Sasuke hung up the phone and leaned back against the couch. He was really angry, no beyond angry he was pissed. Pissed at himself for having Naruto walk home alone. Pissed that the red head kissed Naruto. And pissed cause he wanted to kill the guys that hurt Naruto. He’d put in a call to Junngo and the other and find out who those bastards were and make them pay.
