chapter 7
(Ok, so as far as this story is concerned, this is act 2, where the story is going to thicken in a hurry, you’ve been warned)

Chapter 7: Fathers Don’t Want to be Grandparents.
Tsunade and Sakura were waiting for her at the Hospital, and Hinata couldn’t wait. Tsunade knew what it was for, but made Hiashi realize it was a physical, *it was time for her to get one anyways,* Tsunade thought, checking over her patient’s medical records. “Ok Hinata-chan, sit on the bed,” Sakura asked; Hinata sat up on the bed and looked ready to just get it over and done with. “Now, now, would you relax,” the Legendary Medical Ninja said, “you have to have a physical anyways, it’s not like you won’t be pregnant in 10 minutes or so.” Tsunade ‘requested’ a full report of Ino, Sakura, and Hinata’s last ‘mission’ in Sunagakure, and all 3 were more then willing to talk, at a diner, with some of the other Kunoichi. Hinata had her full check-up, (including a vaginal exam, which she has needed for a while,) then her urine sample to check for pregnancy.
Sakura sat with Hinata in the exam room while they waited for the results, “what if I’m not, what if I can’t get pregnant?” Hinata was getting very nervous, but Sakura gave her a hugs and let the anxious Hyuga rest on her chest. “It’s okay Hinata-chan,” Sakura smiled, she told Hinata at the restaurant that she could consider the Hyuga girl to be like a sister because she’s going out with Naruto, her old friend and teammate. She ran her hand through Hinata’s hair, humming a song softly to calm her down a bit, and Hinata just snuggled up to her. Tsunade walked back through the door, smiling, “Hyuga Hinata, congratulations, you’re gonna be a mommy,” Tsunade cheered, and Hinata practically jumped into her arms in praise. The elder Hokage gave her a hug, but got a little serious, “is it ok if your father knows?” All Hinata did was nod, “if he doesn’t like it, or if he has a problem with Naruto-kun, I don’t care, I love Naruto-kun, and that’s all there is to it!” This caused the 2 medical ninja to scream for joy for the young woman, “Way to go girl!” Sakura cheered, and Hinata blushed, smiling brightly.

Naruto was coming home from the 5 D rank missions he requested to do, so he could keep himself occupied for a while to wait for the results of the test. He got a lease on a 4 bedroom house yesterday, it was a great deal, after Ino and Sakura *his fellow roommates* sweet talked the owner into one. He took off his jacket and set it down the couch and sat there for a second, when Ino came over and hugged him, giggling. “Sakura told me to tell you, Hinata is…” and that’s all she had to say, because he was jumping around with her on his back, excited for the news.
Hinata and Sakura came home together, as Hinata had wanted to talk with Tsunade all about childcare (from a doctor or nurses point of view) until Sakura’s shift was over. And all they could smell in their new home was food, “and not ramen either,” Sakura added; Hinata just giggled. When they walked through the door, both girls were amazed who was making the food. Naruto, Ten-Ten, and Ino were getting food prepared, Choji and Neji were helping to get a second table ready for the guests, and Shikamaru was sleeping on the couch. Sakura went to help Naruto and the girls and Hinata went to help the boys…after poking Shikamaru to get him up. “If it were for the fact that you’re pregnant, this would have been bothersome,” Shikamaru sighed, smiling at the new mother-to-be.
Everyone sat down and ate, praising Naruto and Hinata for this accomplishment. Shino and Kiba had also stopped by to say hello, but Kiba wasn’t too happy, “I still say you should have gone out with me,” Kiba grunted. “Mind-Body Switch,” Ino yelled, taking over Kiba’s body and making him go into the bathroom with a large bottle for a little ‘punishment.’ “He should just get over it,” Naruto sighed, and his lover nodded, “he’ll never change,” Shino replied, sighing from the embarrassment his teammate just cause him. After dinner, they all sat in the living area and talked about their accomplishments and all that, while Hinata snuggled up to Naruto, listening to his soft heartbeat made her fall asleep smiling.

Hyuga Hiashi was not by any means in a good mood, breaking practice dummies into splinters as he cursed, “THAT NARUTO BASTARD, DEFLOWERING AND IMPREGNATING MY DAUGHTER!!” The news Tsunade had given him was not pleasant, but he would deal with both of them tomorrow, “after I prepare to fight off that little Kyuubi prick,” he said, splitting another dummy in half without even using the Gentle Fist technique.
