Kakashi himself had ordered a medic to see if they could stabilize the victim. He knew he should have moved earlier. Running a hand through his short silver hair he inspected the rest of the room. Seeing that the TV screen was cracked in and spots of blood were here and there not to mention mud prints on the floor. The window was broken by the right wall with glass shards all over the floor. The door was a wreak, hanging by a hinge and splintered wood all over the place. The whole room smelling like blood and other things.
“Hey stop you can’t go in there.” Kakashi heard someone shout outside.
He turned around only to see a black blur come staggering into the wreaked front door and imminently stopped. He could see the drawing horror on the young man’s face.
“What happened here?” Sasuke said into the silent room. "Where's Naruto."

What may Come
Rain, it seemed like it was always raining now a days. The steady rain down pour beating against the window panes. Creating a small hammering sound along with the steady creaking of the roof. Thundering all throughout the quiet home. The dark clouds in the sky looming over the small insignificant structure.
He used to like the rain and the cold that went with it. Used to jump at the sight and play in it like it was a sunny day outside.
But now it just was there. No special thing about it. No wonderment nor amusement trying to tug at his heart.
Shifting a little he gazed at the sight before him trying and failing to not remember his past. It was just like this day had started off nearly eighteen years ago.
The rain was making it hard to see out the window but the little blond boy could care less as he constantly jumped up and down on the little brown sofa. His bright blue eyes shining with eager anticipation for his dad to get back. He could vaguely hear his mom in the kitten, cooking up a storm for her other.
The TV was playing in the background, the volume low, as the lights flickered on and off due to the storm outside. But the boy was neither worried nor afraid. He was exited and practically jumping up and down on the sofa.
“Stop that Naru and sit down. He will be here soon.” His mother said from the kitchen.
“Oh but…” Naruto was saying in his whiny voice as he did what he was told to.
“And no making faces Naruto.” His mother said, cutting of the blonde’s sentence.
Huffing Naruto leaned back towards the window to watch the rain fall. Smiling he reached out with his small tan hand and placed it on the window sill. Feeling the cold and small vibrations from the wind and water.
He just hoped his dad would hurry up and get home. He missed him, not to mention his stomach was growling for food. But his mom had plainly said no food until dinner. Squirming around he turned his head towards the TV in the living room only to see a commercial and nothing else. Bored his little bright eyes wondered around his home, spotting the small glass table right in front of another couch. This time the color was a beige or cream. Next to it sat a small oak table cluttered with magazines and remotes. The carpet was a soft off white, while the walls were a cream leaning towards white just like the carpet.
The fireplace was going, for he could hear the snaps and pops of dried wood burning. Feel the heat coming from the fire and seeing the glowing orange tint surrounding the room.
Above the mantel were several pictures of the loving family. Some had his mom, a tall slender brown haired woman with doe eyes. While others showed a tall strong man with spiky blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. Another picture was of his father with another man. The second figure was a tall muscular, imposing man with a head full of dark hair. His dark intense eyes were staring ahead blankly even as the blond man’s arm had been around his shoulder smiling. Right in front of the two men were their exact carbon copies but only chibi sized. Right down to their same posture to their highlights. Smiling Naruto bounced remembering when they had taken that picture. His dad and his friend had come over with another boy by the name of Sasuke. They had played all day, more like fought on who could use what toys all day. But he had fun, Sasuke was the first person who wasn't an adult enter Naruto's house, so they instantly became friends.
Looking back the little one pouted when he had still not spotted his dad. Looking at the clock on the wall he wondered when his dad would be back soon. Turning fully he sat down on the soft sofa and kicked his legs, turning his head left to right. Trying to decide what to do that wouldn’t get him into to much trouble.
Humming Naruto changed the channel to the cartoon station as he listened to his mom banging a pot around then cursing up a storm.
Giggling the little boy tilted his head when he heard something. Turning his eyes widened as he yelled out.
“Daddy’s here. He’s here so we can eat mommy.” He shouted out with joy as he stood on the sofa.
“Don’t stand on the sofa Naru.” His mom said as she passed by the boy heading towards the wooden door.
Pouting Naruto sat down as he watched his mom twist her hands on her apron looking out the front door, her face a mask of concentration. Making sure she wasn’t looking Naruto grinned as he stepped back up on the sofa again and looked out. The rain had lessened and the mist had nearly dissipated. He could see several figures walking up to the front door.
Puzzled he hopped down and ran around a corner as he peeked his spiky head out. He could hear the front door opening with several loud voices ringing throughout the small home. He could also hear foot steps indicating more then two people entering his home. Looking around he could see at least four adults walking in talking all at once. Looking up Naruto spotted the tall dark haired man from the picture.
Jumping a little he looked down at the grownups legs hoping to see a small dark haired child but to his dismay he did not spot any.
Frowning Naruto turned around to head for the kitchen. His mom had said they would be able to eat once daddy had shown up. Walking into the nice clean tiled kitchen he paused and leaned agaist one of the white granite counters.Wondering where he should go, he waited for his mother or father to show up and introduce their new friends.
Hearing talking in the living room Naruto debated on either to venture out there or not by himself.
“Naru why don’t you take your meal up stairs.” His mom said as she entered the kitchen a subtle frown on her forehead.
Her hands were yet again twisting on her apron but Naruto did not notice.
“But mom I want to eat with dad.” He whined as he watched his mother start a plate for him.
”No buts Naru. You know your father is working hard.” She said softly as she ruffled up the boys messy hair.
Smiling a little Naruto nodded not wanting to give his mom any trouble because he knew his mom and dad fought a lot and did not want to be the cause of their fighting. It seemed that when ever they fought his name would be spoken out loud indicating that they were mad at him.
“Now get up there and watch some TV or better yet read.” She finished as she handed the small boy his meal.
“I will.” He said even as he had his left hand behind his back, fingers crossed.
Running the rest of the way out of the kitchen he slowed as he neared the living room. He paused just beyond the thresh hold before looking up where the stairs were. He could either go up like his mom had said or he could just take a peak on what was happening.
He wouldn’t walk out into the living room, no he would just pop his head out and see what the big commotion was about. Grinning at his logic Naruto tip toed the rest of the way passing the stairs as he went. He could hear talking going on.
“…No that wont do…Need to…Make the experiment go right.” He heard before Naruto breathed deeply as he quickly popped his head out from behind the corner.
He saw the fire merrily going, casting its bright orange glow and several chairs that had been put in front of it. At the left hand corner he could just make out his dad sitting next to Sasuke’s dad, but the other men were strangers to him. One had silver hair that seemed to flop wildly to the right. Naruto wasn’t sure if he had spiked it up that way or not but it looked sort of funny. Putting a hand to his mouth Naruto silently giggled as he watched the hair lean from right to left. It was very entertaining to him.
Next was an other dark haired man, his hair going down to his middle back. He seemed to be arguing and yelling the most out of all the men gathered there. Finally the last person that sat right in the shadows of the small cozy fire. Naruto couldn’t really get a good look at the man but knew that his hair was spiked up and that it was short.
“No we are already behind in this research.” The man with the silver hair spoke up, as he directed his question towards the last male near the shadows.
“It does not matter.” Was the reply.
The man’s voice had a hard edge to it like he was attempting not to grind his teeth together.
“What we should do is gather more, ‘specimens’ that way we can continue on.” The man with the long dark hair replied in an oily voice.
“No I will not be part of that. I won’t just go and snatch them off the street.” Naruto’s dad said loudly across the room.
He looked upset for Naruto could tell his jaw was practically withering with tension. Not to mention his eyes were narrowed and hard as diamonds.
“I second that we will not become criminals on top of messing with nature.” The silver haired man spoke up as he slouched in his chair looking like he had all the time in the world.
“What do you expect us to do then, treat ourselves. Dance around while we’re so close to this…” The long haired man was demanding as he was getting up to his seat.
But he was cut of when Naruto’s dad Minato had also stood up and glared at the man. Naruto in the background was a little imitated to say the least. He had never seen his dad act this way never.
“Gentlemen I don’t think it would be wise to continue when we have a guest standing by.” The shadowed spiky man said turning his head as did all the others towards Naruto.
Naruto for his part just stood there for a moment not comprehending he had been caught until his dad had on his stern serious face.
“Naruto what are you doing there.” He said softly. Though his tone was soft, his face spoke a different tune.
Naruto just shook his head and lowered his eyes. He knew his dad was not happy with him. Seeing a shadow cross his face he looked up ashamed ready to apologize to his dad but it wasn’t his dad that was blocking the light.
No it was the long haired man. Now that he got a good look at the man his eyes shown yellow and slitted, looking up at the hands that were reaching for him Naruto did what any little kid did screamed.
"Orochimaru get away from Naru now." Naruto heard through all the commotion. Looking up teary eyed he saw his mother striding across the living room to his side. He jumped a little though when he felt someone pick him up off the ground. Turning his head he saw his dad's face smiling down at him.
"Naruto what have you to say for yourself young man." Minato said as he shifted his son in his arms. Feeling protective the little blonde peeked out with one eye towards all the guest. As soon as he felt a warm hand on his back indicating his mother right behind him he breathed out slowly, feeling his heart still beating fast.
"I'm sorry I screamed." He said softly as he looked at the man with the weird eyes. "But he's weird." He fished as he pointed towards said man.
Laughing Minato set down his son and went to apologize to Orochimaru. Meanwhile Naruto was staring at his mothers disappointed face.
"Naru I told you to go up stairs did I not." She said to him. Naruto nodded his head with his big eyes tearing up again. He didn't want his mom to be mad at him. They could start up a fight with everyone here. And find out that he was the cause of it.
"Don't worry hun we were just wrapping up our discussion. Naruto you can stay by the nice warm fire now." His dad said as he stood up with everyone else. As everyone was stepping out towards the front door Naruto got a hand shack from the dark haired man that was covered in shadows and a ruffling of hair from the silver haired man. The last one, with those creepy eyes bent down to Naruto's height when his parents weren't looking, sending the other guests out with good wishes. Making plans for their next meeting.
"What is your name." The man said in a silky oily tone, that was hard around the edges.
"Naruto." He said looking at the man. Now that he was this close and had seen the eyes, they weren't that frightening. No if he wanted to venture he would have thought they looked cool.
"Well Naru, I have a gift for you, but don't tell your dad I'm giving it to you instead of him." He man finished as he shifted his stance before bring out a small stuffed toy. Hesitantly Naruto reached out with small hands to grab at the stuffed animal. Taking it he eyed his new toy with curiosity. It was a stuffed wolf with black, gray, and, brown markings along with beady black small eyes.
Smiling Naruto hugged the new toy and thanked the man. Smiling Orochimaru slide his hand through the boys spikes as he walked by, humming a tune as he went through the front door ignoring Minato and his wife.
"Naru where did you get that." His mother asked as she closed the front door. Naruto looked up holding the stuffed creature to his breast. "That man with the weird eyes gave this to me." He replied as he walked back to the living room. Naruto hopped up on the couch as he changed the channel. Switching it on the news since he knew his mom always liked the station.
No more then two minutes later his mom and dad had also stepped through the living room. Both of their faces looking a sickly pale white. Their breathing a little more harsh, not to mention their stance was stiff and up right.
"Naruto I want you to get your things packed up. Your going on a road trip." Minato said happily even if the cheerfulness had not reached his eyes.
Looking up Naruto stared at his father, puzzled. He knew something was wrong but then again a road trip would be fun. Nodding his head he skipped up the stairs towards his room getting ready for the road trip. Packing some of his clothes and socks in a bag. As soon as he was done he raced down stairs hearing his parents argue again. Stopping he tightend the straps to the bag. They were fighting again and it was all his fault.
"We can leave...get away..." His mothers voice rang out with agitaion.
"No...not with this experiment...He mad... killed Uchiha" His father said in return.
"OK I'm ready." Naruto said as he bounded the last few stairs. Wanting to stop his parents from snapping at each other.
"Ok sweety lets go." His mom said as she grabbed the blonde's arm, making Naruto drop the stuffed wolf on the floor. His father was back in the living room smothering the fire and grabbing last minute supplies.
"No my toy." He said as soon as the toy dropped. But his mother just kept dragging to the front door. "No my toy." He said louder.
"I'll get you a new one." Was the hurried reply. But seeing the little blonde dragging his feet and pointing towards the living room where the toy dropped. She bent down and took his teary eyed face in her warm palms.
"Naru listen we need to leave. Please go outside and wait for us there we will be right there. Wait outside near the car please." She finished when the small blonde tried to protest.
"Fine but can you grab him for me." Naruto replied. Seeing the nodding of the head he turned the knob and headed out towards the door. Never once looking back to see his mothers beautiful face twisting in agony.
Hearing the thunder and feeling the rain pelt down his head. He never did see his parents again. Thus why he hated the rain so much.
