“Naruto.” Sasuke said desperately, following Naruto around the room as the blonde threw his clothes into a single duffel bag, wanting to get out of there as soon as he could. If he stayed any longer, he’d give in and stay just like the bastard wanted. “You can’t do this, dobe. We’ve been together for three years. You can’t just up and walk out of my life like this!”



“You did the same damn thing six years back, if my memory is to be believed.” Naruto snapped back, shoving the clothes Sasuke had bought him in the raven’s face. “I don’t want to spend the rest of my life with an emotionally stunted asshole.” The blonde hissed, zipping his bag up and heading for the bedroom door, his steps determined and angry.



Sasuke caught him by the arm, the other man’s grip painful.



“You said you would love me no matter what, dobe. For better or worse, that’s the deal.”



Naruto shook the raven’s hand off, glare firmly in place.



“You won’t marry me.” Naruto accused, laughing at the irony of Sasuke’s words as he headed for the door and threw it open.



After three years of being together, you’d think a guy would pop the fucking question all ready, but Sasuke didn’t do marriage and Naruto wanted everything. The works.



They clashed a lot when it came to what they wanted.



“But it’s too late for that, bastard.” Naruto sighed.



Sasuke remained silent at Naruto’s words, his lip wedged between his teeth. Naruto just rolled his eyes and walked out, part of him wanting Sasuke to chase after him.



But he didn’t.
