Land Of The Deadly Love

"AH!" The redhead yelped and tightened his arms around the older male blushing faintly being able to feel just how muscle Lee really was. 'I hate bikes so damn much!' He thought and looked around at the houses they were passing. 'Well...good thing Lee already knows where I live.' He thought and frowned seeing smoke coming from a burning house they were passing.



Lee made a few sharp turns and avoided multiple zombies before pulling to a stop at Gaara's house. Setting the kick stand down he smiled and then he took his helmet off. "You ok?" He questioned glancing back at Gaara.



Gaara was frozen in place still having his arms tightly wrapped around Lee. "Y-Yeah fine.." He muttered and blinked looking up at him then looking out the house. 'Please be alright please...' He thought feeling his heart start to pound.



Lee blinked and got off of the motorcycle after getting the redhead's arms off of him. "Hey... it will be ok.." Lee said gently caressing his cheeks then he leaned in and kissed his forehead. "You just have to relax.."



Gaara blushed at this then got off the bike and looked at the door, he bit his lip then ran to the door throwing it open. "Temari? Kankuro?" He yelled and walked into the house then glanced back at Lee when he walked in behind him. "Hello?!"



Lee glanced around at the room hearing nothing but Gaara's voice echoing. Finally after what seemed like forever a woman appeared from the corner and it shocked Lee. She went to slice a knife at him but Lee ducked his head down eyes wide. "Hey I'm alive," He said and she backed up. "Oh.. Sorry.. I was worried about my brother.." She said then pulled Gaara into a hug. "Where have you been??"  



Gaara hugged his older sister back tightly and buried his face into her shoulder. "T-Temari! I was so worried you guys weren't ok! We had to get away from the s-school.." He said and felt a huge wave of relive knowing his sister was alive.



Temari gently rubbed Gaara's back and glared a little at Lee. "He is a friend from school right..?" She said her eyes scanning over Lee not trusting him since she had been raised to be naturally over protective of her family and over observant on people. "Uh, yeah I am a friend from school.." Lee said with a sweat drop.



Gaara pulled back enough to look up at his sister and patted her shoulder. "You can trust him don't worry...we are um..." He trailed off when he heard a thud outside and looked over his shoulder. "Lee close the door." He said hearing something big was moving down the street.



Lee felt confused hearing it as well and shut the door then finished Gaara's sentence. "We are dating now so, it is a pleasure to meet you Gaara's older sister," Lee said and held out his hand. Temari looked wearily then nodded and shook his hand before quickly pulling away. "Where are you going?" She asked.



Gaara blushed and rubbed his elbow, he then blinked when they kept hearing the thudding noise for a bit then suddenly it stopped. He looked over at the window but couldn't see anything. "Where is Kankuro anyway?" He asked looking around for his older brother.



"He ran off when this happened because he wanted to help in some way. I told him it was a stupid thing to do but he didn't listen," Temari told her brother and pulled out a gun she had attached to her side. "Get away from the door.." She said not trusting the noise. Lee blinked and slowly backed away from it. "Why?" He questioned.



Gaara glanced at her then moved over to stand next to Lee. "That sounded big what do you think that was..." He asked and set a hand on his stomach. 'What is happening to our city?' He thought and tightened his hand into a fist. "Is the car still here?" He asked knowing the bike could only carry two.



"There have been... monsters.. around.. animals and people that are morphed and not like the others. It might be one of them.." She explained then nodded over to the keys on the table. "Yeah the car is here, Kankuro took off on foot.." She explained and still kept the gun pointed at the door.



"Then you can drive us...we need to meet the rest of our group at the top of the huge hill..you know the super rich people." Gaara said and walked over getting the keys and slipping them into his pocket.



Temari slipped over to the door that lead to the garage and she nodded, "Come on get in the car.." Lee followed the siblings and piled into the car. After getting the keys from her younger brother Temari started up the car and smiled sweetly, "Hang on.." Then the garage opened and she drove out. How ever as they were driving away something started to chase them making Temari have to gain speed. Lee's eyes grew wide as he looked backwards. A huge lion that was missing all of it's hair but it's main and his lips were burned away to show over the overly sharp razor blade teeth was chasing them.



Gaara looked back and gasped. "The hell...it looks like it was skinned!" He said and rolled down the window sticking his head out to see it better. "It's starting to gain on us a bit you might want to drive faster.." He said setting a hand on his sister's shoulder. 'Was the animals in the zoo effected?' He thought.



"Shoot at it!" Temari demanded and grabbed a shot gun she had hid next to her seat in the car incase of emergencies and she handed it to him. Then pressing down as far down on the gas as she could, she tried to drive safely and get away. "What the heck is going on!" Lee yelled.



Gaara leaned out the window and took careful aim before firing at it making the creature stumble but it still kept running. "Damn this thing is tough.." He muttered and pumped the shotgun before firing again at it trying to slow it down. 'Never thought I would use this gun on a living thing…is that still living I can't even tell anymore.' He thought.



Lee was freaked out not enjoying the noise of pain the animal emitted when it stumbled then got right back up and continued to chase. "Just get it over with Gaara-kun.." He said wincing each time the gun went off. Temari took a quick turn and watched the beast slam into a building in the rear view mirror stalling it for a moment before it shook it's head and continued to chase after them. God damn it.." Temari growled out and started to head for a deserted bridge.



Gaara winced from having to lean his stomach on the side the window and kept firing off rounds at it. "It won't die! What the hell is with this thing!" He said and grit his teeth when they hit a bump. He moved the gun down a little and aimed at the legs trying to make it trip up again.



"Gaara get back in the car..." Temari said to her little brother and when he didn't hear her she yelled. "Gaara get back in the car!" Lee took a deep breath to relax then leaned forward, "Temari what are you-" The blond shoved a small button in his hand. "Press the green button when we go over the bridge.." She said and he was about to ask why when she snapped, "Just do it!"



Gaara pulled himself back into the car and put his seat belt back on, his hand gripping his wounded stomach. "Sis? What do you have planned?" He said his eyes widening looking at the button in Lee's hand then looked out the window at the big cat still in chase. 'This is like a fucked up version of animal planet.' He thought with a sweat drop.



Temari drove quickly over the bridge, "Just push the button!" Lee jumped and pushed it and a giant explosion happened the bridge falling to pieces. The giant lion skidded to a stop and roared at the car, circling looking down at the water before looking back at them. Temari had stopped the car panting and the big cat decided to give up and just turn around returning to where it came from.



Gaara let out a relived sigh and glanced back at Lee. "Lee-kun..? Are you ok?" He asked and then leaned back his chair all the way and put his hands over his eyes. "Oh my god...was that thing from the zoo?" He asked and looked up at Lee since his chair was now leaned back onto the seat next to the older males.



Lee dropped the button, "I did not know it would do that.. at least it did not kill it.." Temari let out a long breath and got out of the car to stretch and go to the back. "I set that up in case of emergencies yesterday.. guess it came in handy.." She told them and got a few more guns out of the trunk of the car.



Gaara shut his eyes feeling a little dazed and rubbed his forehead. "I hope it dies on its own before it attacks someone else...I shoot it up pretty good.." He muttered then moved his shirt up a little to check his bandages.



Lee carefully leaned up and checked them over. "We should have had Tsunade-sensei clean your wounds up again before we left.." He told the redhead and kissed his forehead. Temari got back into the car and then calmly started driving them to the house in the distance.



Gaara blushed faintly and tilted his head back so he could see Lee better. "They didn't reopen luckily..they just really hurt.." He said and reached back to set the shot gun next to his boyfriend. "I hope we see Kankuro again.." He muttered.



"Maybe," Lee said and relaxed in the back seat. After what seemed like forever Temari slammed on the breaks. "Kankuro... Kankuro!" She yelled and grabbed a gun jumping out of the car and ran off after the male that was her brother leaving Lee and Gaara alone. "Shit.." Lee couldn't help but say and moved over getting in the driver's seat and going to follow the blonde but they ended up getting lost and not following Ian's tip not to go passed parks. Lee was stuck surrounded by zombie children and parents at the park who were banging on the window.

Gaara climbed into the back seat and grabbed the shotgun and opened the skylight, he stood up in the car and started firing at the zombies in front of car to clear the path. "Damn it! Lee try and drive through them!" He said and had to duck when a zombie swiped at his head.



Lee revved the engine but could not do it and sighed. Shutting the car off he turned to Gaara and go in the back with him. "We have to run for it.." He told him and gently kissed Gaara on the head. "I love you, I will go first and make a path for you alright?" He said softly stroking Gaara's cheek.



"W-What! Lee we should try and get through them to get back to Temari! I don't want to risk losing you already.." Gaara said gripping onto the front of Lee's shirt with one hand and picked up the backpack filled with guns in the other that his sister had left.



"No come on Gaara-kun I will be fine.. I promise.. I love you.." Lee leaned in and closed his eyes pressing his lips to Gaara's. "Now when I open the door bolt and I will be right behind you, there is an old temple up the stairs near here.. go there alright?" Lee said softly still gently stroking Gaara's cheek.



Gaara blushed dark from the kiss and lifted a hand to touch his lips. "Y-You better help me f-find Temari later.." He said and pulled the shotgun up, he hugged Lee tightly for a moment then let go. "O-Ok...please don't get hurt...I c-can't lose you.." He said feeling his eyes burn just at the thought.



Lee nodded and then jumped out of the top of the car and jumped down. After throwing a few punches and kicks to the zombies a few were on the ground and he yelled to his boyfriend, "Now run now!"



Gaara gulped then quickly climbed out of the top of the car and used the last shot on his gun to blast more zombies out of his way, he then ran as fast as he could up the old steps and into the tree's. 'P-Please be ok!' He thought and ran all the way to the temple, he opened the door and slipped inside before dropping to his knees and panting hard. He had never run that fast in his life.



Lee got away from all the zombies and made sure none were following him before getting to the temple. Slipping in Lee panted and went to the main corridor falling to the ground panting hard since he had just fought his way through with just hands and feet through the heard of zombies.



Gaara slowly got up and walked over to the door and looked outside glancing around trying to see if he could see Lee. When he saw nothing he felt his heart start to ach and waited a few minutes. 'W-Where is he?? D-Damn it we should of tried to drive through them..' He thought his eyes tearing up, he shut the door then leaned on it. When more time past he let himself slide down to the floor and hugged his knees to his chest.



Lee had gotten up worried after awhile trying to find the small redheaded boy. When he finally did he ran over and got down on his knees hugging him tightly. "Gaara-kun! I was so worried I did not do a good job and make a good pass way for you.." He said eyes going to tear up as he snuggled the redhead in his arms.



Gaara was still for a second then throw his arms around Lee's neck and knocked him over onto the floor. "I t-thought they got you...p-please next time try and g-get through them you s-scared me.." He said not realizing he was laying on top of his boyfriend.



Lee blushed lightly then gently kissed Gaara again like he had done in the car. "I will never leave you again..." Lee said in a soft loving tone and kept his arms wrapped tightly around the petite waist.



The redhead blushed deeply and looked off to the side shyly. "Y-Your the first to ever kiss me.." He said and playfully messed up his boyfriends hair. "And you better not you almost gave me a heart attack!" He said gripping onto his shirt a little.



The older male shifted a little under Gaara on the floor and looked up at him. "I am sorry I did not mean to upset you.." He explained and gently wrapped his arms even tighter around Gaara.



Gaara blushed again and laid his head down on the older males chest listening to his heart beat. "Y-You're ok? You're not hurt?" He asked literally clinging onto Lee not wanting to let go.



"Not one bit.. in fact.. I feel better than ever..." Lee told him and tilted Gaara's head kissing him once again. This time though he did not pull back, Lee was going to get as much as he could out of the kiss, he just wanted to prove to Gaara how much he loved him.



Gaara blushed darker and his eyes widened in surprise for a moment before closing them tightly. He shyly kissed back feeling his heart starting to beat faster and set his hand on the side of Lee's cheek. 'M-Maybe I w-was wrong before...m-maybe he does really love me..' He thought.



Lee's hand slid down unable to help himself and nighttime slowly fell upon the two males.
