An Act of Love

Sasuke's fingers started to feel on Naruto's exposed chest , tugging open the kimono more than it was already. With his blurry vision, he couldn't quite make out everything of what he was doing. Going entirely by touch, sound, smell, and taste, he moved on instinct. The salty taste on Naruto's neck, for example, started to fill his mouth after every lick against the tanned skin.  Pinned down against the bathroom wall by Sasuke's body weight, Naruto clung to the loose navy blue sleeves. "Sasuke, not in here."  Sighing, the other ninja stopped pushing. Resting his forehead against the skin of Naruto's chest, he nuzzled at the nearly invisible blond fuzz. With his sore eyes closed, he spoke softly. "You always say no."

Smiling, Naruto's fingers ran through the long black hair. "I said, not in here. I didn't say no. I like to have my chastity taken on softer surfaces." Smirking, Sasuke looked up.

"How many times have you lost your chastity, exactly?" Snorting, the blond shrugged.

"Two, three, twelve? I've lost count."

Putting his hand on Naruto's chest, Sasuke scratched like a cat "You're going to have to lead me if you want to go anywhere. These drops keep my eyes dilated for awhile. Not that I need to see where I want to go once I get you down..."  The vision had completely gone blurry, barely able to make out Naruto's face. It was as if his world was a melting oil painting. Naruto frowned, leaning his face forward to nose Sasuke's gently.  "Just give me your hand and close your eyes. You trust me, right?"  A soft smile came over Sasuke's face, hands moving down the sleeved arms until fingers touched against rough hands. Grabbing them, he answered. "No, not at all."

The voice held a tease, making Naruto smile as he moved away from the wall. Closing his eyes, Sasuke's sharp ears listened for familiar sounds. Naruto's steps were very distinct. The heavy pads made a unique noise on the wooden floor boards as he walked backwards at first.  Turning, he released one of Sasuke's hands, hurrying his steps a bit. "Come on, Sasuke."  There was a playfully tone to the soft voice that caused Sasuke's to quicken his own light steps. Hearing a door open, a cool breeze was felt against his skin. The man wanted to laugh that he was being dragged outside somewhere to do it. "Jump down the stairs." Obeying, he lightly hopped from the wooden deck a smooth, stone walkway.

"Where are we going, pervert? " Naruto grinned, keeping his hand locked around the thinner fingers. The pace slowed to walking, heading down hill of the path. "We're going to town. Best place to hide is in public, right?" Feeling the blond stop, Sasuke stopped too. "Come on, I got your sandals. Lean on me." With shuffling, Sasuke leaned over, toes slipping into the tongs of the shoes. "So your plan is to walk hand in hand into town? And do what?" Simply smiling, Naruto retook Sasuke's hand.

"Don't worry about what I'm going to do. I'm gonna take care of you and let you do all sort of perverted things to me. Isn't that enough?"

"Hah. Fine. As long as you don't cry again." Sasuke had his eyes half open for a moment as he looked toward Naruto.

"Who was crying?! Jerk."

Enjoying the cool night air, Naruto and Sasuke leisurely strolled, hand in hand, down the path into town. Unknown to Sasuke, Naruto had grabbed his froggy wallet on the way out of the house, a bottle of eye medication, and had a small backpack thrown over a shoulder. He had planned to be gone for awhile, though did worry about his livestock.  He would make arrangements with a friend in town to take care of them while he was gone. Sasuke would gradually open his eyes, looking down at the road to see if his vision had cleared yet. Unfortunately, his body wasn't what it use to be. The time it took for him to recovery was a slower process since he had taken Itachi's eyes. It lingered in his mind that the transplant had made him inherent Itachi's weakened state. With his eyes closed, his mind started to replay over and over again the fight with his brother. Unintentionally,  the grip tighted to Naruto's hand.

"Hm? Are you okay?"

Sasuke's mind was interrupted by kind words. Forcing a smile, he turned blindly to look. "Sorry. I'm fine."

"Steps, four of them."

Naruto trotted up first, waiting for Sasuke to come after. Pushing a large glass door open, Naruto stopped in front of a desk. "We're going to need a room for the night."  Sasuke had stopped as well, taking in the sounds and smells of the local hotel. He listened to Naruto embarrassingly laugh off the teasing of the female desk clerk regarding  the boys in a room for the night who also walked in while holding hands. The jingly sounds of the key being passed cued Sasuke it was time to start walking again, but this time he moved to hug like a lover would to Naruto's arm. More giggles arose from the clerk, but Naruto didn't move to push him off. Although, blushing pretty hard, he sort of liked the attention.

Into the elevator and up a few floors, the ding was the signal to step off. Down a carpeted hall, Naruto finally stopped to fiddle the key into the door. The room smelled fresh, neatly vacuumed and well-maintained. While it lacked the smell of home, Sasuke thought it was pleasant enough. Some incense lingered in the air, softly burning in a tea house shaped, steel container. Naruto flipped the light switch, walking Sasuke over to the bed. "Bed's behind ya. I'm going to unpack a bit." Sasuke took a bouncing seat, wiggling up and down to test the bouncy.  "Unpack?"

"I got some stuff for the trip. Change of clothes, kunais, stars, and...well. I got your sword too. Plus money for the train ticket."

"My...sword? Train ticket? Where the hell are you going?" Feeling betrayed, Sasuke's voice growled. After all that they just fought over, Naruto was going to leave him now?

"We are going to the Hidden Leaf. I just didn't want you to go mad. I..." he paused, picking up and inspected the sharp edges of the weaponry. "You were right on one thing. We need to stop whoever is hunting us. We haven't done anything, and I know Gaara will protest to that. However, I don't think his words are going to stop them from still trying right away. And...there is something else I want to do."

"Something else?" Sasuke glared, leaning over suspiciously. "Don't give me that crap. Spit it out." Naruto sighed, moving to sit next to him on the bed. His arms laid heavily over his legs, head down toward the floor. "Sasuke, do you remember when you came back and Kakashi-Sensei told you about his Sharingan? " Sasuke blinked, tilting his head. "You plan on killing me and taking my eyes?"

"What? No! Not...exactly." Sasuke laughed then.

"How are you not exactly going to kill me and take my eyes?"

The blond sighed, looking closely at Sasuke. The eyes were cloudy, nearly light grey. The once dark, sharp and piercing beauties were getting worse. "Kakashi-Sensei told us about how he lost his eye in a fight and his friend, who was an Uchiha and dying, offered his eye to him. It wasn't taken or stolen, it was given and now he can use the Sharingan. It was...an act of love." Sasuke frowned then, fingers reaching up to touch one of his eyelids. "You...want me to give you my eyes because I love you?"

Naruto shook his head, reaching over to touch Sasuke's face. Fingers gently stroked his cheeks, a tired smile coming over Naruto's lips. He had made up his mind. "No, I want to give you mine because I love you."
