Shikamaru went to the Yamanaka’s flower shop, glad that Ino wasn’t there, bought some flowers. Inoichi told him that he would find Ino at the dumpling shop. Shikamaru went there, flowers held behind his back, and approached Ino as she was standing just outside of the dumpling shop. “Ino.” “Oh, hey Shikamaru, what’s up?” Shikamaru looked up. “The sky, some nice clouds, the sun…” Ino laughed. “Oh, you are such a joker.” Shikamaru smiled. “It’s a drag for me to embarrass myself like this, but here—“ he held out the flowers for her. “I’d like it if you would go on a date with me.” Ino was stunned. “We’re just a boy and a girl today. Not shinobi, not village repairmen, but simply a boy and a girl. I’d like it if you would go.” “I…I don’t know what to say, Shikamaru. Sure, I’ll go on a date with you.” She took the flowers out of his hand, and they made their way down the street together. ** Meanwhile, Neji was with Hinata, training, by the river. Tenten was nervous, but she wanted to talk to Neji…it seemed like he had been avoiding her lately. “Neji nii-san,” Hinata said softly, pointed to Tenten, and she walked away. “Tenten…” Neji murmured. “Neji, I’ve been wanting to talk to you. Ever since I told you about the baby, you’ve kind of been avoiding me…do you not want the baby?” “That’s not it at all!” Neji said. “I just…I don’t know how to react. I…can’t believe that you are carrying my child…that my child, my flesh and blood, is growing inside of you.” “Can we go, Neji?” “Go?” “On a date. Let’s go.” She took his arm, and pulled him to go buy some pastries, and then they went and found themselves under plum blossom trees, Neji’s hands in Tenten’s hair, touching, licking, sucking each other. Tenten wasn’t showing yet, save for a small, little roundness about her abdomen. Neji’s cock swelled, along with his pride, as he entered her softly with her on her hands and knees and him behind her. Why did you ask me?” “Was it wrong of me to ask the girl I’m in love with, the girl I think is the most beautiful in the village, one of my best friends, out on a date?” “Well….when you put it that way,” Ino said, and she leaned into him slowly. His heart raced, but he met her the rest of the way, and softly pressed his lips against hers. Electricity shot through both of them, and they gasped and pulled closely to one another. “Ino…” “Shikamaru…” They kissed for a few more moments, and then Shikamaru walked her home, and then went back to his own home, calling it a night before things got out of hand. They were just a boy and a girl.
