Chapter Six: A Fox in Plain Sight

Kyuubi appeared in the forest just south of Konoha, shutting the locket a moment after looking at it briefly.

“How was he, brother?” Kyuubi turned, his hair and tails, moving with in fluid motion, to find his sister leaning against a tree, arms folded across her chest and a smile on her face. Kyuubi settled at this but looked to the floor, and immediately Kyu-ni eyes open wide in realisation, his action confirming what she already suspected.

“You’re in love with him…aren’t you?” Kyuubi head shot up, but she raised her index finger up waging it playfully.

“You can’t hide your emotions from me, my lordly brother, how long has been now…10.000 years, and that’s long enough to know what my brother is feeling. You may hid it from our people but not from me.” Kyuubi sighed in defeat.

“You are right sister.” Kyu-ni smiled, and placed a hand on his shoulder.

“You should go to him.” Kyuubi looked at her with hurt eyes.

“But I can’t-“

“Yes…just go as a student, or teacher at the Ninja academy there, we’ll enter Konoha together, I’ll ask you, my son to attend the Ninja academy. We can say that your father wanted you to become one.” She looked at the locket around his neck. “Since you and Naruto have nearly the same locket…you can tell everyone your brothers.” Kyuubi looked at her like she was stupid.

“If I say we were brothers, the old Hokage will not believe us, because Aarashi Uzamaki only had one son and that’s Naruto.” He said for a matter of fact, and at which Kyu-ni tilted her head, scratching it also.

“Is there any relatives on his mother’s side?” Kyu-ni said at which Kyuubi nodded rubbing his chin with his left index finger, and frowned.

“Yes…but they all died, and no one knows much of the 4th’s wife, in Konoha…she has no sister left, I personally saw to that.” He said with a grin.

“Well…they don’t check on people’s backgrounds much. My sacred guardian job, is stationed not very far from here, in a little town called…I forgot it’s name but it means tranquil waters. I’ll alter the memories of people there…just in-case any Ninja try and trace back our history.” Kyu-ni said and smiled afterwards, clapping her hands together, giggling like a school girl.

“Come on, let’s get this done already sister. “ Then shimmered away, Kyu-ni stared for a moment, and puffing out her cheeks, and pouting she followed suit.

Two individuals walked up to the gates of Konoha one was a young teenager male with a light tan, his eyes a muddy red, he had light brown hair reaching to his waist, with a tie, so it formed a pony-tail which started just at the nape of the neck, his bangs still covered his eyes, a smile on his lips. He wore used brown coat which came down to his knees, and underneath this was a blue shirt, and brown trousers and a pair of sandals, with no socks.

“I HATE having to be an old wrinkled human.” Kyu-ni said from behind the boy.

“Come now ‘mother’ this has to be done.” Kyuubi said with a smile. Kyu-ni wasn’t that much different from her original self, except she had wrinkles, her silver her turned white and wispy, and she wor a blue flowing thin robe.

“Don’t call me mother my lordly brother…I’ll be happy when I get these wrinkles out…I hate having to age…or feel out, well 10.000 is old is there sense.” They made it to the gates, being stopped by some guards.

“What is your business here?” Kyu-ni stepped forwards frowning at the guard.

“I am here to enlist my son in the academy, and to see my brother Aarshi, you know him as the fourth Hokage.” The guards looked at each other, one went away.

(“Shit…if they bring Suratobi, that old coot, I’ll be done, Did you take all her momeries when you killed Arashi’s sister?”) Kyuubi just gave a nod.

(“Yes… I thought that they would have come in useful twelve years ago.”)

(“Thanks….give them to me now.) Kyu-ni turned to Kyuubi holding a hand on his shoulder, this may have looked like reassurance from the human point of view, but at tat one contact Kyuubi was passing memories to his sister, and just as it was done, the guard returned with Hokage as expected, who gave a sad smile.

“How are you doing Sarani (Turning to Kyuubi) you must be… Siaku Kisune correct?” He nodded bowing his head. “Please…would you come with me.”

“Oh is it ok, if my son goes to the academy…also we want to see our cousin…Naruto, I think if it was a boy…am I right?” The Hokage paled a bit placing his pipe back in his mouth taking a puff.

“Did I say something wrong? I know because of my brother.” Suratobi pulled his his pipe out motioned for a guard.

“Please take young Kisune here to the academy, and inform Iruka, that he has a new student starting, oh and fetch him and Naruto when Lady Kisune and I have finished our little meeting.” The guard bowed approaching Kyuubi.

“I f you would follow me I’ll show you to the academy.” Kyuubi hugged his sister, and followed the guard, while Suratobi put a arm around Kyu-ni’s shoulder.

“I have some bad news.” Then they vanished in a poof of smoke.


(MEAN WHILE AT THE ACADEM)


“Naruto’s late again…I’ll introduce you to the new student we have today after Naruto gets here.” Little did they know Naruto was just outside the door listening a sad look on his face when they screamed with joy, over some joy of a new student, and of course Sakura with her giant mouth was the first to squeal, her approval?

“Really, Iruka-Sensei? Well he’ll be more interesting than Naruto at least.” Followed by, Ino’s laughing.

“Come now…even if a new student is starting, that’s a bit hard even for you Sakura.” Naruto’s face calmed, at least Shikamaru was still on his side, he knew.

(“Better go in then…what will they think I wonder? The people couldn’t stop staring at me.”) He looked down twiddling his locket in his fingers, and opened the door.

“Naruto…you’re…” Iruka fell silent as did everyone in the room.

“Naruto…is that you?” Sakura said eyes wide as Naruto just walked in down the stairs, and sat in his seat and opened his locket, the sound of music filled the room, a sad sound and every one fell silent listening, but Naruto only looked at it, and listened, only thinking of the one who gave him it.

(“The only one who cared.”) Iruka spoke up then.

“Well…you look…different Naruto (He looks just like ‘him’ it’s scary). Anyway we have anew student I would like you all to meet.” Naruto shut his locket at that point to listen to him and looked to the door that was on the left of Iruka, as it opened.

“This is Siaku Kisune.” Naruto just ignored it and opened his locket again, the music filling the air again.

“Naruto…put that away, show some respect for our new student.” Iruka said in a frustrated voice, Naruto just looked up with sad eyes, distant and glazed, that is until the he saw the person walking through the door.

(“Kyuubi.”) Kyuubi just smiled, because he was going to spend as much avliable time with his intended ‘cousin’ and lover to be.

“Every one... Naruto I thought I told you to stop that music.” Iruka shouted as the sound of music filled the room. Naruto looked down at his locket, people looking from Naruto to the new student, then Naruto opened his locket, and the tune sang in sweet unison, the sound of footsteps getting closer and closer, and there stood ‘Kyuubi’ his locket open in his left hand.

(“Hello little one of mine. Just think of what you wish to say and I will hear it.”) Kyuubi spoke into Naruto’s mind.

(“Why are you here?”)Kyuubi smiled caring and lovingly at Naruto, then in front of everyone no less.

(“I am taking school with you as your cousin…even I have to have my fun Naruto. Just play along.”)

“Who are you…and why are you hugging me?” Naruto, Kyuubi looked at him with a smile.

“I am your cousin.” Every one’s faces turned in shock, and all shouted in unison.

“WHAT!”

Well that were chapter five people hoped you enjoyed it.
If you didn’t already get this’ll be a Naruto/Kyuubi pairing.
I personally thought the ending was a bit crap, but I can always fully edit the story once it’s done.
