Ah, after a long hiatus, I'm happy to say that I've returned.

Chapter Eight - Rumors
Rumors have a way of turning for the worst...
It was a dry, and bleary Monday. Nothing ever happens on Mondays, right?
You've never been to Konoha, have you?
In Konoha, Uzamkai Naruto has the reputation of being the number one loudest ninja in the entire village - rivaled by only one person. His name? Or rather, her name? Haruno Sakura of course!
When there's a rumor you want spread (or don't want spread, it's all the same to her), Haruno Sakura is the girl for the job!
"INO! Did you hear what I heard today?"
"No," Ino replied, her ears perked for the coming news. Rumors were always so delicious! "What did you hear?"
"You just have to hear this!"
Oh dear. Things could get just a little bit sticky...
Ah, Monday. An everyday... well, an everyday day for Aburame Shino. Impervious to the dreary, dry weather outside his apartment complex, he walked over to the training grounds across the village, as he did every morning.
As he arrived to the grounds, he met a peculiar sight. A flash of pink, and whoof! Haruno Sakura was at his side. She gave him an enourmous grin that masked (or rather, tried) the true intentions of her visit.
"Hello, Sakura." Shino greeted in his usual monotone. He was never one for idle chit-chat.
"Hello Shino-kun!" she said happily, stretching out the suffix in a rather high pitched, annoying squeal that threatened to deafen the poor Aburame.
"What brings you by?" Shino asked, rather uncertain of his current situation.
She paused. Making quite a scene of filing her nails (where did the file come from?) before she said, "I've heard a rumor lately... that you're seeing someone special." She grinned again.
Uh-oh.
Shino froze. Well, that didn't make much of a difference in his stature. He was always stiff (Not down there you perverts).
"... You must've heard wrong." He was pleased to hear that his usual monotone had not broken stride.
"I heard you're seeing Neji!"
Well, so much for not breaking stride.
The young Aburame sputtered. "Ex-excuse me?"
"I heard you're seeing Neji! Is it true?" she asked happily.
"YOU'RE SEEING WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO?"
In a flash of orange (accompanied by a nifty smoke effect), Shino was grabbed around the middle and was unceremoniously carried away, a loud screeching voice echoing in the distance.
Completely oblivious to the scene that had just occured before her, Sakura merely shrugged.
She'd take that as a no.
So much for an exciting Monday, eh?
Err. Please realize that the 'seeing Neji' thing is merely a joke. Just some humor before I start introducing the more complicated stuff. xD
