Caught by Night

Disclaimer... I don't own Naruto! Nor will there ever be that once in a million years chance where the owner of the anime, breaks down in front of my house and asks to use my phone. While he/she use's it they get hit by lighting and in there dying breath they give me ALL of Naruto...So I'm saying that even though it would be nice to own such a cool anime/manga like that one, I won't, but here's me barrowing Naruto. *Runs away with itachi, and an evil laugh!*


Chapter 8, Sai's heartfelt truth.

Naruto released the white haired man after a pair of glasses had fallen to the floor. "Your a Bastard you know that..." He said harshly. This fucker wouldn't talk, due to promises he made to a man who was dead? All Naruto wanted to do was blast this fucker through a wall, but being that Gaara stood off in the corner, he was afraid of that idea as well.

"Ah ah, Naruto-San temper temper. I do Know that curse oh so well, since it is one I help develop, but the truth is I shall keep my mouth closed till you can find that secret of the seal yourself." Kabuto said calmly.

Oh, how this fuck head tested every last fiber of Naruto's being. First his strength, because it took an awfully strong person not to kill this man. Next his patients, and this he was quickly losing his battle of. And last control, for Kyuubi knew who was before him, and yet the two couldn't become one as easily as they wished, for the fear of a swift and painful death came to thought.

"So tell me how Sasuke-Sama is? Has he been welcomed back yet?" Kabuto asked.

"You leave Sasuke out of this. This is you, me, and that fuck head you called a master. Tell me what I want to know!" Naruto yelled.

"I see, your key lies in him." Kabuto said. "Yet that would make since."

"The fuck does that mean...?" Naruto asked stepping back. What's Sasuke have to do with all this, other then what the Basterd had already done?

"That is the secret. The one you and he will have to learn, but I promise you, you'll hate everything within you once you learn the mystery." Kabuto said a smile brazing his face.

Gaara approached the man and stared.

"Yes, Kazakage-Sama, or should I say Uke? I'm not sure I don't lie with you at night, clear that up for me." Kabuto said. The game he was playing he knew well, this game, this game he enjoyed.

Gaara's hand struck the man hard across the face. "Shut up! And answer Naruto's question." The man before him had hit a nerve. No one knew of the visit's with the Hyuga, not even his best friend. This was due to rules of the Hyuga household, and he wanted nothing more then to let his lover be a free bird like he needed to be.

"Buttons buttons, how many can I push?" Kabuto's voice rolled out from looking at the floor. His voice sounded oddly calm like as if he hadn't just been struck, or like as if he didn't care what would happen to his life. "You know if you kill me, you'll never learn, I'll never tell." He moved his gaze back at Gaara. "Want to kill me...Gaara! Do you so badly want me dead?" His face turned to Naruto, who was standing back. "How about you Naruto? Doesn't your fox friend want to play with me right about now? Oh I bet he does, I'm betting that your dying to let him go and let him do as he pleases, then again, all wounds would open, and you'd bleed to death."

Naruto shivered. The last statement he had said meant Naruto's worst fear was true. If he and Kyuubi couldn't handle being as they are now. Then he'd die.

"Oh you guessed that I think." Kabuto said. "Well then, I wonder is that why your here, and not where you should?"

"What does that mean?" Gaara asked. taking the man in his hands.

"The heart is in two Naruto, find it and heal all, before you return." kabuto said.

"The fuck does that mean?" Gaara asked again.

Naruto stared at the floor. "Can you have Tsunade send Sasuke here?" He asked.

Gaara turned.

Sai began to draw an empty apartment, a home that was devoid of all life, he didn't even think a bug crept on that floor since Dickless left. He couldn't find his friend, not one soul had been lucky enough to find him all week. He sketched to bed just as neat and clean as last night when he was here.

The loud sound of someone opening a window came to the ex-root ninja. If it were Naruto he would have used the door this he knew. Stopping his scratching sound of pencil to paper he waited. The sound of a foot and a second foot hitting the floor outside the room was clear.

Sai place the book on the bed and gently walked to the other side of the door. He had half the mind of killing this robber. He knew it was a robber because of the sloppy way they were now getting around Dickless's apartment. As he waited there he heard a chair be pulled out from the table and then back in. 'Did they just sit down? No they put there stuff down.' Sai thought.

Suddenly a loud clang noise awoke the Root ninja, with Sai and he pulled open the door jumped out to a candle lit kitchen. His sword drawn ready to strike. "Halt, you are under arrest!" His sword rested at the neck of a man who now was looking just as surprised as Sai. Large Onyx eyes filled with what seemed to be tears, and his Raven hair all a mess proving lack of sleep. "Uchiha, Sasuke?" He whispered.

Sasuke had already been nearly on the floor. Sai pushed him there more. Damn it and he was crying too. This couldn't have gotten any worse.

Sai's sword didn't move from the inch away from the deadly place in Sasuke's neck. "Uchiha what are you doing here?" He asked.

Sasuke tried his hardest to make his voice sound loud and tough as always, but he could only manage a small low and so clearly tear filled plea. "Move the sword Sai...Please."

The uncommon word from the Uchiha made Sai remove the sword. "I ask a second time..." He was interrupted by Sasuke pointing to the table.

Sai looked over at the table and saw a few open scrolls. each one started with Naruto's name. Then there was a few un-opened scrolls containing the 4th Hokage's symbol on the front. There was two scrolls about the demon fox Kyuubi, and then a bag of scrolls sat in a chair. Sai pulled out one and it had the forbidden seal on it. looking at Sasuke who was now trying hard to stand up, he wondered. "What's your plan? I never thought of you the type to place a curse seal on anyone." He said.

"I would, never harm, Naruto." Sasuke said trying to rid himself of the last of his tears. Great here he was crying in front of someone who knew nothing about it. 'Fucking great!' He thought.

Sai placed the scroll back in the bag then walked over to Sasuke. He looked around, on the ground was a tea kettle and water. 'So that's what fell.' He thought. Looking at Sasuke again, he watched as the Uchiha tried so hard to place his whole head under cold water. "What are you doing?" He asked, not getting the action.

"You'd never understand Sai, you wouldn't get it." Sasuke choked.

"Try me!" Sai said. He crossed his arms, copying the action the Uchiha did normally when he wanted his way.

Sasuke looked up and stared, was he hearing things? or was there a flash of a smile in those words. Staring at Sai he saw a small smile. "I guess the dobe got to you too?" Sasuke said.

"You'd say that." Sai said.

Sasuke found a towel and began to dry off.

"Why did you stop? You didn't have to, I'm not cold hearted, I just lack you know." Sai said.

Sasuke knew this was true, Sai lacked in what he had, but he knew so little of him so this could only be ignorance. "I'm sorry."

"No sorrys needed, I just need answers. What is all this? Why do you have it?" Sai said.

"I'm trying to help Naruto, Trying to save him or I'm not sure what you call it. I'm trying to do something." Sasuke said as he walked over to the table. "All I lack is information on his mother, but because she didn't belong to the leaf country it just state's her name in the 4th's scroll's."

"Wait save him? From what?" Sai asked.

Sasuke turned. "I'm calling it The lovers Blood Curse Seal. Its where he gets hurt thinking about me or if I get mad. Do you understand?" Sasuke said.

Sai picked up the kettle and threw down a towel to dry the floor. He filled the kettle and set it on the stove. "You're telling me everything." He sat down.

Once Sasuke had finished telling Sai about the second meeting with Naruto in the woods, (leaving out the part that Naruto was going to Suna.) He waited.

"Dickless loves you I could tell before Valley Of The End. He had your headband in his pocket at all times. Sakura knew it too, she in fact told me about it. She explained to me what love was. I had made a mistake saying I was taking the place of a loser teammate for your group and he got upset. Something I didn't understand at the time. He grabbed me so hard I was in shock by it, eyes red like I had never seen, and I didn't know of a stronger Chakra then this one." Sai said. "Sakura and Kakashi pulled him off me. And he left. I learned not to screw with him. He was cocky, that's why I call him Dickless."

Sasuke looked at a scroll. "God he's such a dobe. Two and a half years I was gone. He could have spent that time thinking of someone else, but...I can't help but thank if he didn't have a one track mind If I'd still be rotting with the Snake now." Sasuke picked up a Kyuubi scroll, and opened it.

"That's true." Sai said.

"What's your thought's of the dobe Sai?" Sasuke asked.

"As a person, he's a kind person, full of a spirit that I'm not sure where he gets it from. I do understand he was shunned by the village, and hated by all the adults in the village, so where he gets all this Hidden Leaf pride from. as a fighter...well, I'm shocked he's not a Hokage yet, he's awfully strong shinobi. Then as a teammate, he's a great one, works well in the team, but you know that." Sai answered.

Sasuke sat in the chair and opened another scroll.

"Want to hear some truth from me?" Sai asked.

Sasuke looked up.

"You should be looking for him. It seems like your the only one who'd know where to find Dickless." Sai said. "Anyways, I was once told that a heart will find its other half no matter how far they are."

Sasuke smiled roughly. "Thanks." He rolled up the scrolls, 'Sai was right!' he thought as he tossed them i the bag. "I'm going to do just that, tell Tsunade I'm going to look for Naruto, and I'll return even if I die doing this." He got up and walked to the door and opened it.

Quickly Sai nodded and watched the Raven disappear.

Naruto watched as a small dog was released into the woods near Suna. Latter tied to the leg of it. He begged the note would get there Suna.
