chapter 8
A/N: Yo. The next chapter is here! Thanks for reviewing guys it gives me strength (dramatic no? but it’s true~~~) Oh well enjoy.

Chapter 8
Konoha ninjas are jumping from tree to tree at a great speed, in a hurry to reach their destined location as soon as possible. Well one of them is. The brunette haired man turned to face the other who is lazy following him a few feet behind.
“Kakashi can you please speed up a little” He said in irritation.
Kakashi sighed and scratched his itching jaw “Koi we are almost there anyway why do you have to be in such a hurry? I’m sure Naruto is fine. He is under the care of Uchiha Sasuke anyway”
Iruka had caught the emphasis and let a small smile grace his face. The raven haired teen was so infatuated with Naruto (yeah he knew how much, it was obvious). “I know but I can’t help it”
The silver haired man chuckled. His brunette lover can be such a worry wart. ‘Motherly-like’ so. He then turned his head to the other two figures not far away. “You guys better keep up! We better hurry before Iruka’s hair grays” ducking a flying kunai in time he pointed towards a direction. “Look we’re here!”
Deciding to let his cheeky lover go this time, Iruka jumped down from the tree while the rest followed him as he walked briskly into the safe house.
“Naru~to!”
Clank. Clank. Crash!
Without hesitation the teachers ran to the direction of the noise. Iruka abruptly break causing Kakashi to bump at his back when a flash of black and purple zoomed pass him. S-sasuke? With a broom?
“Um Sasuke” the raven haired man paused and look up.
“Oh. Iruka Sensei! Kakashi too!” He grinned! BRIGHTLY. Oh god.
Goosebumps formed on Iruka’s arm. What on earth happened? Naruto walked out from the kitchen.
“Naruto!” The brunette pulled him into a tight hug.
“I-iruka tousan what are you doing here? Kakashi sensei too”
“We all came here as soon as possible after receiving news from Sasuke yesterday”
“We all?” Sasuke’s brow visibly twitched.
“Yes we all Uchiha. Have you grown deaf?” Just then, Hyuuga Neji stepped into the kitchen entrance with the Kazekage in tow.
“Neji? G-gaara?!”
Everyone in the room inwardly rolled their eyes at Naruto. Only the blonde-knuckle-head-number-one-surprising-ninja would call the Kazakage by his name…. minus the honorific. But everyone save for Neji’s eyes widened into saucers (if they could) when the blonde-knuckle-head-number-one-surprising-ninja jumped from Iruka’s loose embrace and glomped the red head. Totally.
“GaaraGaaraGaara! I missed you~~”
Surprisingly though, the usually extremely stoic sand yielder return the hug. He smiled and he even gave Naruto kiss on the forehead! Well sure everyone knew the two Junchuuriki shared a kind of bond but they definitely never expect that Gaara Of The Sand could or would be this affectionate.
“Naruto, look at you. You’re all messed up” Gaara commented lightly as he adjusted the front of Naruto’s kimono. (If the red head had noticed that it’s a female kimono, he had made the best choice not to mention it) “are you okay? Were you hurt? You look feverish” He placed a hand on Naruto’s cheek.
“O-oh? I think it’s just a little hot I guess hahaha I was cooking just now ahem…. Shit the noodles!” The blonde rushed over to the stove and turn off all the fire. “Hey why don’t you guys go unpack and I’ll prepare breakfast for all of you? Wait, do we have enough?” He mumbled to himself as he checked the cupboard to reconfirm. “Yeah we do. All of you haven’t had your breakfast I’m sure...... guys?”
Naruto turn to look when he received no reply. They all in turn stared back at him. Kakashi is suspected to be smirking behind his mask but it is difficult to tell.
Neji broke the silence “You look surprisingly fitting in that get up and all” like a girl.
“Ask the one who responsible for all this” The blonde replied coolly, knowing what Neji was implying.
“Ma~ it’s a complement isn’t it?”
“We’ll be back” Iruka cut in before his lover irked the blonde into taking drastic actions.
The gang was about to take a turn to the passage of rooms but stopped abruptly when Naruto had spoken unusually formal to the Uchiha. Just Un-Naruto-like. Something must be up. Iruka couldn’t resist but to hide beside a nearby wall close enough for him to hear their conversation yet not too close to be caught.
“My my. I never thought you had such a habit in you Ruka. I thought we shouldn’t eavesdrop on other people tsk tsk tsk”
“Well this is different… shh shh I can’t hear them” The genin teacher protested in whispers.
Neji snorted.

“Sasuke… can you help me arrange the table… please?”

Naruto is having a very difficult time forming a proper sentence and maintaining eye contact with the raven hotty. What was Sasuke trying to tell him before they were interrupted? He was irritated and relieved at the same time it’s confusing! A part of him wanted to know what Sasuke would have told him and the other may not have wanted to hear the truth. He knew now that Sasuke had not outright rejected him. He had claimed that Naruto is not filthy. That is good right? But it didn’t mean Sasuke will love him the way Naruto wanted him to. He spared a secrete glance at his secrete love. Sigh. The Uchiha could still look dashing even though it is just arranging chopsticks on the bunny shaped rests. Those large warm hands. It was on him a while ago.
Naruto decided to avert his eyes before getting caught staring. He strained the noodles and set them aside before opening one of the cabinets above him to get soup bowls. To his demise, the blond couldn’t reach for the other three as they were pushed to the back. He stretched himself as much as he could but only managed to brush its edges. Should he ask for Sasuke’s help? No he still can’t do it. So he tried and tried and… tried until he squawked when he was suddenly in the air.
“Sasuke!”
“Don’t struggle dobe or I’ll drop you” The raven tightened his an arm around the boy’s waist for balance.
How can I not struggle when you have the other blasted arm of yours around my thighs, BENEATH my kimono?!
“Hurry up I can’t hold up for long”
Naruto is sure he’s beet red now. Not sparing a glance nor utter another word, he quickly obtained the needed ceramic wares. Sasuke slowly lower him.

“You know, I think they were also in the middle of ‘something’ just before we arrived”

“Their clothes were crumpled, messy hair, his face was all red, he kinda look feverish. Yeah I think they were. Not to mention the pain-in-the-ass (Sasuke) was glaring at us openly. Don’t tell me you didn’t get the killing vibe he was directing like a radio wave” Neji slide the door to his and Gaara’s chosen room.
Just then something flew pass and imbedded the wall nearby. The four of them quickly entered their rooms. Uchiha Sasuke walked over to retrieve his kunai after heard a muffled apology from Iruka.

A couple of days later……
“Thank you Sakura. Good job” Tsunade looked through the report her student handed to her from a mission well completed. “Go have a good rest and be back to help the medical department in a couple of days. There are a few antidotes and medicine that needs to be prepared. We are running low on them already. You’re dismissed”
“Hai! Thank you Tsunade-sama….... um Tsunade-sama?”
“Hnmm?” The busy women look up from the report to face her student.
“Is Sasuke and Naruto back from mission yet?”
“No not yet. Why?”
“… its nothing just wondering that’s all. They are alright.. right?”
“Yes they are. No worries the mission is low rank. It just time consuming that’s all. If it makes you feel better, I received a report from Sasuke yesterday and they’re progress in the mission is A-ok”
“Really? Well that’s great then” Sakura smiled feeling relieved now. Her friends were gone for about a week and they hadn’t return. She feared that somewhere along the mission, things had turned sour. “Thank you Tsunade-sama” Sakura bowed.
The female Hokage set Sakura’s report aside and arches her back to stretch her stiff body. She stood up and walked over to the window for some fresh air. These few days she had been drowned in papers and papers of… paperwork. Shizune had been on her ass like plague for the entire day. But thanks to her constant nagging, ¾ of the paperwork is done.
“Ah~~~ fresh air~” Tsunade breathe deeply, savouring the moment. It has already been more than a week that Naruto and Sasuke had been away. How are things progressing there I wonder. Oh wait. Naruto should be reaching the peek of his heat about now. Tsunade went over to her a large safe box that holds top secret info. Unlocking it she pulls out one of Naruto’s profile and flipping them to read her scribbles under Mating Season: Symptoms/Traits.
Beginning of the heat: Hair grows long with a mixture of red strands. Most probably representing Kyuubi no kitsune’s chakra being active or something of that sort. Body becomes weaker. Chakra production in the body decreases. Healing process compared to before is much slower (more like a regular person). Senses screwed up (difficulty in sensing presence of another person/ cannot sense another person’s chakra)
About a week or slightly more after that, Naruto begins to show symptoms of experiencing heat. Body gets feverish often. Experiencing occasional ‘lttle electrocuting shocks that tingle throughout the body’ as quoted by Naruto (most probably sexual arousal). Sense of ‘touch’ is heightened. Gets aroused easily. Body produces a kind of pheromone (Scent is sweet and refreshing like the Jasmine flower)
NOTE:
Hypotheses,
Anyone around Naruto should be in contact of the pheromone but somehow only certain people will react to the scent. People who have a reaction to the pheromone will feel feverish and aroused. Increase of sexual desire.
However for safety precautions its best if Naruto stays away from the majority of the crow during the period.
These symptoms will gradually reduce after the peek.
NOTE:
Extract of various suppressions are collected and tested. A serum/antidote to the pheromone was successfully produced from the test. Formulas are to refer in file UN/K/Ph 1a.
NOTE:
During First mating season: peek lasts for 12 days. Taken four days for symptoms to reduce and return to normal.
During Second mating season: peek lasts for 10 days. Taken five days for symptoms to reduce etc.
During the third? Who knows. She will just have to ask Kakashi and Iruka when they get back. She had given orders for them to drought down any new or out of the ordinary changes that the brat might face. Tsunade close the profile and gave some thought. I only gave Kakashi four vials of serum which is enough for the four of them to use when Naruto starts producing more of the pheromone. Do I regret not giving Sasuke one?
