End of a monster
Chapter 8: End of a monster:
Orochimaru gave a surprised hiss as he saw the one hundred clones jumping into the air before throwing their Shurikans directly at him.
He was too exhausted to dodge them all… and the result was that he was hit countless times by the deadly weapons, leaving him bleeding and on the edge of death. The clones, which had used all their stored chakra for the final attack, disappeared with a puff leaving only the original blonde and a dying Snake-sanin in the demolished battlefield that was once Kabuto´s lab.
Both men were panting and covered in blood.
Naruto´s breathing quickly returned to normal even though the poison was spreading fast throughout his body… slowly paralyzing him. His healing ability would prevent the poison from killing him but he would still be slowed down and weakened… He had to end this fast. There was no way that he would give up so close to the end of this exiting battle… so close to Sasuke… yes Sasuke.
He mobilized all the strength and chakra he had left inside of him; focusing it to form his strongest and most lethal attack.
He knew that he didn’t have enough chakra to summon another clone. He had to form the Rasengan by himself this time.
He built up a concentrated form of the remaining chakra in the palm of his hand, feeling the familiar pain grow until he recognized the correct pattern of energy.
“Wind Release: RASENGAN!” He rushed forward, pushing the blue chakra sphere into the chest of his opponent as hard as he could.
Orochimaru was too weak to even move a finger as the blonde attacked him with one of his most powerful jutsus. He could do nothing except to watch as the blue sphere was pressed against his chest.
He screamed in pain as he felt the sphere tear through his trembling body leaving a huge round hole through his ribcage, ripping apart his heart.

Crimson eyes widened as the terrifying scream of the dying Orochimaru reached his aching mind.
“Uchiha-san… Wake up… you got to see this!” Sai pinched his arm to make him open his eyes faster.
“WHAT?” Sasuke snarled with a tone that bore promises of a painful death to the ink-shinobi if he didn’t stop his actions right away.
“Naruto… He... ” Sai backed away to safety.
“He’s awake… Where?” He struggled to get to his feet, cursing himself for showing weakness in front of Sai and the blonde.
Sai didn’t say anything, he pointed at the spot where Sasuke had fought with his former master.
The Uchiha followed the pointing finger with his eyes. He stared at the scenery in disbelief.
Naruto was standing close to Orochimaru´s limp body… his hand reaching through a circular hole, of the size of a small plate, in his chest.
The blonde was panting heavily and seemed to be in a lot of pain and very exhausted.
“What just happened?” Sasuke asked in confusion.
“Naruto killed your master, after saving your ass as well as mine,” Sai said silently, as if he had just realized the truth.
Sasuke would have kicked the ink shinobi´s behind if Naruto hadn’t just dropped to his knees from exhaustion and the poison in his veins.
Sasuke was beside the blonde before he hit the floor. Catching the blonde and dragging him free of the dead Snake-sanin before he got on his knees to embrace a softly smiling Naruto in his quivering arms; his head resting on the raven-haired male’s thighs.
“Naruto?” He whispered on the verge of tears, scared of losing the blonde male.
“I knew… that you’d… come… to save me… Teme!” The blonde whispered as he softly stroked Sasuke´s hand with trembling blood-splattered fingers.
“Please… tell me… that you are… going… to be… fine!” The dark-eyed male begged. Naruto thought that the strong avenger looked a bit like a scared child that was about to close the most precious thing in his life.
“I´m fine… Teme… or at least… I’m going to be… just give me… an hour… or maybe two!” Sasuke´s skin was smooth but cold. Naruto lifted his hand to his swollen lips and kissed the pale hand softly before giving the raven-haired male a warm and reassuring smile.
“Really… I´m fine… don’t worry… you’ll only… wrinkle… that perfect skin… of yours...”
Sasuke looked at him with a frown.
“Baka… Here I was worrying about your well being… and all you do is to joke around!”
Naruto closed his eyes, preparing himself to get a hit on his head… but instead of a hit he felt warm tears dropping down on his face.
He reopened his eyes to stare at Sasuke. “Sasuke? Please… Don’t cry… I’m sorry...” He paused to breathe. “I’ll do anything… Please don’t cry for me!”
“I thought that I lost you… Please don’t leave me alone… please stay with me forever!”
