Umm...YEAYAYAYAAYY I love reviews!!! But let me address some of them...

Sneakyfox-I’d love to include those two in fact I will include Sasuke but as of right now it’d take entirely too much work to tie Neji in there but if you need a Neji fix then go read my other stories...he’s in all of those.

Animelover-Returning to their senses is going to take a little while longer...but not too long.

“Ahhh” the raccoon demon gasped as his lover sucked him even deeper into his throat. Above him, Naruto gasped hoarsely as he too came shooting onto the sand as he swallowed the bitter, salty, sticky liquid that shot into his throat. Around them the world heaved and rolled, tossing the sand around them as they remained motionless in the eye of their chakra storms.

All across the land, people braced themselves as their homes and shops, their streets and stores shifted and rocked under yet another wave of chakra.

Sasuke skidded to a halt as he fought for balance, the roof underneath him pitching dangerously as another wave of energy rolled through the earth. Leaping down onto the more stable ground, his team landing next to him. Sakura had been unusually silent as Sai absorbed the chakra with some of his ink beasts.

“The shock wave is like a tangle with four chakra lines. Red, and blue give off this orange, rust color as they overlap but the other set is black and blue that give a darker blue almost purple color. All the colors are merging together before they zing off in every direction.” Sai analyzed in depth as he created five little winged rat-like ink creatures. Inbedding the message into each mouse he sent them off, one bound for each squad, one for the hokage, and one for Kakashi and his hounds.

Outside Konoha, Shibi and Tsume seemed to be having no luck as they encountered the same distress in all the villages before they slammed into the tangled chakra mess. Tracking it through their assigned territories, they ended up doubling back again and again in an unending mess of tangles and confused variations. Each one sending the same message to the hokage: Unusual chakra patterns that seem to lead no where.

Tsunade sighed as she received the little flying doormouse and his message.

‘Four chakra patterns, blue, black, red. Blue for Gaara, and his opponent, other ones black and red, demon possibly. Gaara could still have residue from Shukaku. But red?’

As she was mulling over these clues, Jiraiya stepped into her office. “Same thing Tsunade, tangled chakra lines that don’t seem to go anywhere. Kakashi’s dogs have split up and each one following a different line but the still end up doubling back. Either Naruto was kidnapped by someone who has the capability to distort chakra or his own chakra is in a mess, also we can’t rule out the demons.” He stated as he stood by the large clear windows of her office that showed the setting sun. Last day, one more day and the five days would be up and Konoha would be within her rights to press matters with Suna.

Speaking of Suna, a large desert falcon swept into the room to drop a letter in the Godaime’s lap, winging around he landed on a bird perch waiting for a return message. Quickly opening it up she read it. “Apparently Temari and Kankurou are extremely concerned about Gaara. The five days are up and there has been no word on anything. The Sand are already designating squads to go out to Dune Valley. We are welcome to come but we may not send more then 2 teams so as not to alert the people or distress any surrounding nations. As of now, the squads intend to leave at dawn tomorrow.”

Looking up at Jiraiya she glanced down at the letter again before her head shot up “Jiraiya what color chakra did the Kyuubi emit during the great battle?”

“Red. Why?”

“Naruto always had confused chakra lines, blue and orange mostly but if the fox’s chakra was to fight with Naruto’s what would happen?” She asked demandingly, her eyes deadly serious.

“The blue would most likely war with the red and produce a oran— but it still doesn’t explain the black and blue." He reminded her, “Yes it does Gaara’s normal chakra pattern is blue but Shukaku’s was black, even though the raccoon demon was removed it still doesn’t mean that Gaara is completely clean of all that residue.”

“But the intensity of the waves can not support this Tsunade. It’s too much chakra, like the demons themselves are fighting."

“Can’t rule out demon possession...” The blond woman sighed as she turned her face away.

“If Naruto's really possessed...If the council gets a whiff of this...” Jiraiya spoke softly, ominously as he too looked out at the impending night, the sun falling behind the mountainous portraits of the village’s past.

“Naruto would be—“

“Destroyed” Jiraiya finished for her “The council will never let it go, you know that.” His dark eyes intense as he sought to make her understand. “Yes! I kn...I know. I’ll send the ones closest to Naruto, to get him back.”

“At this rate Tsuande we might have to fight him.” Jiraiya let her know “There have only been two times when I was close to death. Only two Tsunade. Once when you over-reacted and then once when Naruto lost control...

I could not stop him. Or control him. When I came to, he was nursing me back to health and had apparently forgotten what had happened but I will never forget it. If he can harness that kind of power and control it with a human mind he could be unstoppable, but if he gets overwhelmed by the demon then he is nothing more then than humanoid monster that leveled Konoha 20 years ago.”

She looked down at her desk as she thought rapidly “We will just have to assess the situation, can you go with the teams, you can infiltrate Suna so as not to alert or worry them but the teams are going to need your guidance.”

“I couldn’t stop him Tsunade, but I will go, remember that alone I can not help him.” Nodding she grabbed onto his words “but at least you can help assess the situation if he’s still fighting the Kazekage then at least Gaara can hold his own—

The world shudder before rocking over the rolling land as the earth moved with the overwhelming energy explosion. Bracing themselves the sannin, managed to ride the wavering floorboards before Tsunade finished “at least he can hold his own, so perhaps it not as bad as we’re making it.” She reasoned before Jiraiya locked his dark eyes on her again

“Or Gaara is just as possessed as Naruto...”

Tsume raised her head as the warm glows of the falling sun reflected off her red tribal marks. 'We have receive new information, just remain where you are and continue gathering information but you need not worry about the tangled chakra lines.' Nodding her head, her wild hair whipping slightly in the wind, she relayed the message to her team of anbu and continued her mission in the Snow country. Down along the southern edge of Suna, Shibi too cocked his head to receive the message.

Back in Konoha, the four squads returned to their hokage’s office just as Kakashi leapt in through the window. “Hinata you will continue to comb the chakra lines with Ino and Sai throughout the village. Sakura you are needed back in the medical ward, Chouji and Tenten you will study the forest paths that lead to Suna, do not pass into the Hill country, just analyze it till the border. You six are dismissed, keep me informed of your findings.”

Waiting for them to leave, she turned to address the rest. “Kakashi you will head one of the teams into Suna, straight into the Dune Valley. Shino and Neji you are to track the chakra lines into Suna with him. Sasuke you will lead team B in a little ways north of Kakashi’s team. Shikamaru, you and Kiba will also track the chakra paths into the Dune valley. You should be able to locate the center of the battle.”

Stopping short, she re-focused and continued briefing “We have reason to believe that the Kazekage and Naruto are in some type of battle, you will approach at a distance to evaluate the situation. Under no circumstances are any of you to interfere unless Jiraiya or I tell you otherwise. The chakra waves will get more powerful the closer you get but we are unsure as to how much stronger. Be extremely wary of both Gaara and Naruto whom we also have reason to believe are currently unstable.”

Glancing briefly out the huge office windows, she watched as the sun completely disappeared letting another solid night sky blanket the world. Tsunade turned back to them, “You are to pack light and travel fast, you leave in 10 minutes and proceed with caution.” Flicking her hand she dismissed them all.

“Are you sure about this?” Jiraiya asked her before he too walked out

This was kind of a bleg chapter but I needed to advance the plot a little...just a little. Anyway preview...Akatsuki, preludes to battles, Sasuke and some clues...
