Chapter 8

The wrath bubbling within his system was something that he just couldn't control. Blood was rushing to his face, turning his usually pale skin bright red. He could feel his head pounding as logical thoughts fled his mind. Large hands balled into fists and every few minutes they would clench and unclench. There was no way to control what was going to happen in the hours to come. After all Madara Uchiha was half man, half monster. Whoever happened to cross his path would just have to suffer. How could one puny male werewolf stir such anger within him? How could the pact allow Sasuke Uchiha to become their alpha? Having a child lead them would only cause their down fall. Madara stopped in his tracks and raised his head toward the concealed moon. In the midst of his fury a loud and terrifying growl was ripped from his throat. Madara was in the mood to kill humans. Looking forward, he stretched before breaking off into a run. He would arrive to the nearest human city in less than a few hours. Maybe then he would be able to calm his wrath by spilling innocent blood.

By the time he arrived in town, his blood lust was at its peak. His sharp hearing picked up every sound and his nose twitched every few seconds as various scents were picked up. If he didn't regain some sort of composure then he would give himself away and that was more trouble than it was worth. Before reaching the entrance of the city, he straightened up and fixed his clothes. Blending in wasn't difficult because no one seemed to notice or care about his presence. Madara's eyes studied each human that passed him carefully, which one would he kill first? A flyer posted on a window stopped him in his tracks. With haste he ripped it off and read over it quickly. A devious smirk spread across his face as he clutched the paper in his hand. A plot to destroy Sasuke was blooming within his mind. All thoughts of killing humans were put aside; after all he could do that at anytime.

SASUNARU

A loud knock on the door startled Iruka. Who would visit him in the middle of the night? Iruka wasn't in the mood to answer the door so he decided to ignore the knocking. However the persistent knocking did not cease, but instead got much louder. With no other options left, Iruka got to his feet and threw his door open. He was more than ready to give the person at the door a piece of his mind. That plan didn't go quite as planned when he noticed that the person standing outside was holding one of the flyers that he had left around town. Iruka's heart began to race as his mouth went completely dry. He felt light headed and tried to stay upright, but it was quite hard. Silently in all his mental and physical distress, he hoped that this stranger had news about Naruto. Taking in deep breaths, Iruka tried to stay calm and patient.

"Uzumkai Naruto has been kidnapped, but do not worry he is alive. I can take you to where he is being held and you may negotiate his release." Madara's voice did not falter; he remained firm and made eye contact with Iruka. There was no hint in his eyes that he was lying yet telling the truth all at once. He was somewhat shocked when the male standing at the door lost consciousness. Madara rolled his eyes and grabbed the man and dragged him inside the house. This was one reason why he loathed humans, they were so feeble. Simply hearing what Madara had said was enough to make him faint. A loud sigh filled the room as Madara threw the male on the couch. He took a seat and waited patiently for the man to regain consciousness.

SASUNARU

Iruka sat up and groaned, why did it feel like he had a hangover? Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, he yawned. He was startled when he noticed that he wasn't alone. Sitting across from his was a rather large and pale man. Iruka straightened up and smiled warmly at the man before him. "I must apologize for fainting; I was just not expecting something like this. I am having a hard time containing my emotions at this very minute, but I promise you I will remain conscious. I am Iruka; it is very nice to meet you." His chocolate brown eyes registered every breath that the man inhaled; he waited patiently for an answer. "It is quite alright, I understand that you were in shock. I am Ryu and I am here to help you."

So many emotions were running haywire and Iruka just couldn't focus on what was happening. All he knew was that he would be able to get Naruto back. Before he knew what he was doing, he had grabbed Ryu's hand and clasped it in his own. "I cannot thank you enough for wanting to help me. Can you tell me everything that you know?"

Madara tried his best not to smirk; the stupidity of humans was so amusing. Instead of smirking, he tried his best to smile warmly at the human known as Iruka. He lightly squeezed Iruka's hand before beginning to speak. "First off you cannot call the police. If you show up with police then Naruto will most likely be killed. The people that have kidnapped your child are blood thirsty and will not think twice before taking a life of an innocent. The best plan is to come with me and reason with these monsters. I will help you as much as I can this I promise you." When Madara looked at the human, he was quite disgusted. The man known as Iruka had began to sob uncontrollably, his grip on his hand increased by tenfold. This much human contact was making Madara sick; he would reek of human rather than human blood. Human blood was one of the most delicious scents in Madara's opinion. He pushed all those wonderful thoughts to the back of his mind as Iruka began to speak.

"T-Th-Thank you so much! I am in your debt. You do not understand how much this means to me. When can we leave?" Iruka's voice was filled with joy and thankfulness. He could not believe that he would be able to see Naruto again. He would do everything in his power to get Naruto back, no matter what it was. Iruka knew that he would not go home until he had Naruto. He made a solemn vow in the deep part of his heart that he would protect Naruto until the day he died.

"We can leave right now. Don't worry about paying me back because helping someone in need is enough of a reward." Madara got up and walked toward the door waiting for Iruka to gather his belongings and join him. An evil smirk was plastered on his face; everything was going according to the plan.
