Several days passed, and Kodi went and knocked on Kurenai’s door. He saw through his rinnegan eyes that she was approaching the door, and he held out some flowers for her when she answered. “I know that you have already rejected me, Kurenai-san…but I think that your beauty is finer then all of the jewels in this world. Your eyes are like blood red rubies, your hair like the finest onyx. Your skin is like alabaster stone, and smooth like the softest flower petals.” Kurenai was overwhelmed. She smiled softly at Kodi, and nodded, taking the flowers from him. “Thank you.” “Please accept me.” “Just…give me another day to think about it. If I decide yes, then I will give you a red rose tomorrow. Wait for me out here, no matter how long it takes, and if you are still here when I answer the door, then I will at least acknowledge your feelings, even if I don’t choose to give you a chance.” He nodded. ** That night, Kurenai was out and about when she saw Shikamaru and Ino out on a date. So, they were going on dates now. Shikamaru was opening up, and Ino was accepting it. Could she do the same for Kodi? She saw other girls who had lost lovers on dates with men, as well. Could she do it? …And if she could….Would she? ** The next day, Kodi waited outside of Kurenai’s house, as she had instructed, and waited for her answer. She came to the door, and she smiled, giving him a nod and a single red rose. He smiled, and took her hand. This was the beginning of a relationship.
