Mission success – The world comes to a strange parallel

Nine: Mission success – The world comes to a strange parallel

For several weeks, the team of Shikamaru, Neji, Choji, Sasuke and Naruto were missing from the village. No one had any information about their whereabouts or when they had left the village.
The rest of the people went about their lives and no one seemed too worried about the young men.
Three dogs ran through the streets and barely avoided knocking over the pedestrians as they went. They dodged them easily and when they had passed, no one remarked on this.
They hurried up the stairs of an apartment house and began barking at the door, disrupting the neighborhood and causing a nuisance of themselves.
The door finally opened and they shoved past.
Shino stood there, in his boxer shorts. His ever-present sunglasses not present.
“I wasn’t hurting her, you know?” he said to the three as they followed him down the hall.
Hana sat under the covers and watched the three enter the bedroom and hurry over to her. She glared at them and shook her head.
“I told you to stay with Tsume. What am I going to do with you?” she said, as they rested their heads on the side of the mattress in a sorry looking line-up. Hana looked up from this to the man in the doorway, leaning against the doorframe and staring at her. “I’m sorry, Shino. It didn’t work. I told you they wouldn’t understand. I don’t know what to do with them.”
“Just tell them that I wouldn’t hurt you. Then, get them to wait outside.” He suggested.
“Did you hear him? Now, aren’t you ashamed of yourselves? Go out in the other room and be quiet. Do you understand me?” she said, and the largest lifted his head to bark once before prancing out the door, followed by his siblings.
“I hope that worked. I don’t know if I can stand it any longer. I want you, Hana-chan. But, I can’t have them in the room for this.” He said kneeling on the bed near her.
“I know. I want that too. And they don’t need to be here right now. Come on, let’s try this again.” She said, pulling him down over her as she fell back on the blankets.
“Okay, where were we?” he said as his lips found hers and they moved together.
The dogs wandered the living room of Shino’s apartment and every so often one would sit and look down the hall. They would shift once more before stopping again and gazing longingly down the hall.
Shino rolled the blankets down and watched the soft skin of the woman appear. She was completely feminine and though she came from a tough and resolved family she was the most alluring person in his eyes.
He had removed his boxers and as he sank into her warmth he was so filled with need that she had only to wrap those long shapely legs around him and he knew he would be lost. She seemed to know this as she waited for his movements and looked at him with eyes clouded with desire.
Shino shifted within her depths and she rolled her head back in response. It was a move of pure liquid sensuality and he felt himself reacting. His thrust increased pace perceptively and his body temperature rose to match the heat created by their friction. Her legs finally could not hold themselves to the bed and they moved around him, pulling him into her with more force as he held his arms taunt over her and looked into her face, watching the desire and lust overcome her features.
Shino was addicted to the way Hana looked as orgasm overtook her face and he could come just by watching her.
He loved the way her eyes disappeared as they rolled back and she would then cry out, and that signaled for him to follow. It was as if he was attached by invisible cords and she could manipulate him like one of Kankurou’s puppets.
He didn’t care, as her body tightened around him and the feeling was like electricity flowing through his nervous system and tightening his muscles.
He flexed and thrust one more time as his body was clenched in his climax and he lost track of what his thoughts were going on about.
Then, as if the cords were cut, his body fell and like the boneless puppet he had become, he collapsed on top of her. All thoughts were gone and none would be replacing them for several minutes.
Hana sighed and her hands made tiny movements along his shoulders and back.
“When did you first know that you loved me?” she asked.
He lifted his head and rested his chin on her collar as he looked at her. She tilted her head to look back at him and smiled.
“Do you remember when Akamaru was sick? Kiba and I were about fourteen at the time. I watched you take care of that little thing and I was lost.”
Her hands moved down, warming his arms and invigorating the muscles there.
“And when did I finally convince you that I was the only one worth your time?” he asked rolling to the side and pulling her with him.
“When I caught you sending out those annoying little stink bugs to cover the scent after Kuromaru had marked his territory in the south forest. I was hard pressed to keep a straight face as Tsume tried to calm him down. I wanted to kiss you silly and that is when I realized. Of course, you were only seventeen, so I didn’t do it.” She said.
“Seventeen? You should have. I would have loved it.”
“Tsume would have killed me. She wasn’t thrilled when you reached nineteen,” Hana said, rolling into him once more. "So, tell me the truth, how long have you had me bugged?”
“You knew?” He asked, pushing her back to look in eyes sparkling with amusement, “How?”
“I didn’t. But I had my suspicions.” She admitted. Shino rolled his eyes and pulled her back, his hands moving up and down her back, reacquainting himself with each and every detail.
“Around that same time. I caught you with Sukima and it made me terribly jealous. They have been watching you for me, ever since. Are you angry?” he asked, fearing her answer.
“No. I guess all that matters is that we finally found each other. And that no one will come between us again.”
“Your mother has hinted that she wants to.” He reminded her.
“Tsume want me to marry and have puppies. I want you.” She said, burying her head in his shoulder and neck.
“You could do both.” He began, and Hana pulled back to look in his eyes. “Marry me and we could begin those puppies whenever you want.”
“Are you serious?” she said and he nodded deliberately.
“I love you, Inuzuka Hana. I want us to be together every waking minute and I want to know that when I come home from a mission you will be here, to greet me and help me return to myself. And I want to do the same for you. What is your answer?” he begged.
Hana stared at him for several more seconds.
In the hall way of the apartment three dogs began to leap and jump, howling and whining, yipping and barking. They rolled together as they played. Happy, now that their owner was also.
“My answer is yes.” She said, leaning close and joining his lips with hers.

When the team returned from the stone country, they were joined by Gaara, Kankurou and two strange women. A few wondered where Sasuke was, but he showed up a few days later and all speculation ceased.
Rumors filled the town and two new families were begun when Hana moved in with Shino and Sasuke and Naruto bought a cottage on the edge of town and moved in together.
The missions continued, and life went on. These things were common in the Village of the Leaf and no one speculated on them for very long.
The two young women were seen around town fairly often and had become a part of the strange cycle that made the village a life force of it’s own.
Now and then, new people came, and now and then, old people died. That was life.
