Hey everyone. I just thought I'd let you all know what's going on.
NO, WE HAVE NOT ABANDONED THIS STORY.

Now that we have that out of the way, I can fill you in on what's happening. The delay is almost completely my (mirandler's) fault. I have had a lot of really draining personal stuff going on. Nothing bad, just...complicated, and time consuming. I've been spread really thin lately. I swear to you all, I'm trying my best to do as much as I can as fast as I can, but I have about a thousand other things that I have to get done at the same time, too.
In about two weeks I'll be moving about 500 miles away from where I'm living now to be closer to my family, which I'm actually really excited about. The good news for you guys is that the co-author and I will be living about five miles away from each other and be able to get these chapters, and future stories, done a lot quicker. The downside to that is that for the next two weeks, I'm going to be very swamped finishing jobs, taking care of stuff here as far as bills and bank accounts and fun stuff like that, and worst of all, letting all of my friends know that I'm leaving. Right now almost all of them are really mad at me. Really, really mad. I wasn't really expecting that reaction. I guess it's kind of flattering? But at the same time, I wish that they would grow up a little bit. It is college. People do leave. Some of my family is mad, too.
So I guess the point of that long-winded tangent is that I hope that you all will be supportive if not understanding. I'm having a bit of a rough time right now, and to be honest, there are other things that I need to be doing before I can work on my fandoms. I am checking email regularly, and I'm checking AFF every two days or so and keeping up with you guys and your stories, and I'm reviewing when I get the chance. Drop me a line if you want; I'd love to hear from you. And I'm done making promises or guesses on when an update will be. I'm hoping that we can get one up by Thanksgiving, but am in NO WAY making a guarantee. I'm sorry I can't be more specific.
