Chapter 9: Sakura Strikes
Chapter 9: Sakura Strikes
“Sakura now is the time to strike. Gamabunta I know I am not your master however I need your help and Jiriaya is not in battle condition. We believe that Naruto is somewhere inside, so we need your power in order to save him”, said Kakashi.
“Ha you are not my master so I do not have to listen to you, but since that kid is inside that beast I will use all the power at my disposal in order to save him. Katsui it has been a while since we last met, but now we must take on this fox. Are you ready, Katsui”, said Gamabunta.
Gamabunta removed his sword from his sheath and leaped at the first fox he could attack. “Sakura we must assist Gamabunta if we take out one our odds will be better, Acid of 1000 fangs” said Katsui spitting a stream of acid toward the first Kyuubi.
The Kyuubi managed to avoid the acid but after he had dodged it Gamabunta came flying in from the sky hurling toward the demon. ‘So that was your plan after all huh Gamabunta not a bad plan however because of this kid that is inside of me I now possess the ability of a shinobi’. “I will now end this little charade with my RASENGAN”, said Kyuubi.
Kyuubi opened his mouth and a red sphere developed inside his mouth. He then raised his head and released the ball toward the giant frog. Gamabunta was not able to dodge the attack but instead brought his sword in front of his body in order to deflect the red sphere. The sphere and the sword collided in midair and it was keeping the frog suspended in the air. Gamabunta then pushed off the sword and dived to the left in order to evade the destruction that was about to come. At last the thing they all feared the red sphere had exploded with the sword and caused a blinding light that no one could see anything. “Acid of one 1000 fangs”, said Katsui spraying her acid in a direction that she thought where the Kyuubi was.
After the flash and everybody could see again they saw the Kyuubi standing there and he said, “Well now this was very exciting, but now is where I am going to get serious” in a puff of smoke Kyuubi had vanished.
“That was a Bunshin, now we are in for a fight” said Kakashi surprised.
Everybody stared in disbelief as the form of Kyuubi had disappeared from view. “It took so much power in order to take on one clone I wonder how much more powerful the real Kyuubi is, one can only guess,” said Yamato, “everybody look out he is coming look out”.
When everybody looked at the nearest mountain, they saw the Kyuubi leap from the mountain. He was aiming for the giant frog that could not move for some reason. “SAND SHIELD”, said a voice and a wall of sand came between the fox and the frog.
“Thank you Gaara that was a close one”, said Kakashi.
Kyuubi jumped back after hitting the wall of sand and was swept away in a tornado of wind. The tornado picked up the giant fox and threw him into the air. “Damn what’s next”, said Kyuubi.
“That will not keep him for long we need a plan and fast. Does anyone has an idea on how to stop this overgrown fox”, said Temari.
“Did you think you could get rid of me so easy? The last time that anyone tangled with me, they died. Now who will be my next victim among the lot of you” said Kyuubi landing a half mile away.
“KYUUBI does Naruto still exist within you. Please… I must know… whether he is still alive or not”, said Sakura crying.
“Ha…ha…ha…ha is that all you care about whether he is alive or not. Do you take me for a fool I have lived within that kid for many years. I have seen the cold hard truth that you entire village has shown my captor. He loved you Sakura but all you could think about was Sasuke and no other. The day when he had the ability to bring him back all he could think about was your happiness. When he realized that Sasuke was free he released the final tail and that allowed me to be free once again. Had you shown him one ounce of compassion toward him he would not have released the ninth tail. He had no more attachment to this world so he decided to give his body to me. Now he is on the brink of despair, and there is no hope for him to come back”.
Sakura looked down and realized ‘All this time it was because of me that Naruto became the Kyuubi’.
“Now that was the reaction I was looking for. Also little girl many of people have died because of you. Now then enough of this it is time for all of you to die”.
“Katsui you know what to do” said Sakura.
“Sakura are you sure you want to do that”, said Katsui.
“Yes it may be our only chance to end this. Temari give me a hand will you”, said Sakura.
“Right” said Temari.
Sakura began to call upon the chakra within her body and expel it around her body forming a chakra shield. Katsui used her acid in order to propel Sakura in the air. Temari was the last to act when she jumped on the back of the slug and then used her fan to create a fierce gale of wind to send Sakura straight into the large demon fox.
“You are making this too easy for me” said Kyuubi as he opened his mouth. Sakura went straight inside his mouth and then he closed his mouth and swallowed Sakura inside of his body. “Hmm fresh meat, whose next” said the large fox demon looking at the group of shinobi.
