A Foxes Love

Kyu-Ni and Suratobi sat in his office Suratobi took off his head-dress sighing, going over to a kettle he had in the corner, his back not turning.

“Tea?” Kyu-Ni nodded and smiled, at which Suratobi turned it on, and sat back down in the chair opposite Kyu-Ni.

“It’s been twelve years since, I lost contact with my brother *sigh* and after hearing that he died protecting the place he loved, I felt happy.” Suratobi was about to speak. “No…don’t say anything I know that you tried to find me…knowing you wanted a family member as the next Hokage, am I right?”

“I could never fool you.” Suratobi said with a smile. “You never wanted to be found did you?” Kyu-Ni nodded her white hair falling in front of her eyes for a second, but she pulled it back over her ear, placing her hands in her lap. The kettle went then, Suratobi speaking as he prepared everything.

“I’ve learnt enough in my life, to make myself hidden even, from Ninja like your self, and also one annoying Sannin, named Orochimaru.” Suratobi dropped a cup then, it shattering on the floor, and looked around at her.

“You know of Orochimaru.” Kyu-ni sighed, bringing the memories of Arashi’s sister to the surface of her mind.

“Yes while we were in hiding…we encountered and his…sound-four. That was roughly four years ago.” She fell silent. While Suratobi poured her and him a cup of tea, and placed it in her hands, which she mouthed ‘thank you’.

“Why was he after you?”

“What I am about to tell you must never leave his room, or no one must not know about this…my son already knows, and Naruto has a right to know, because it effects him greatly. Is this ok?” Suratobi nodded.

“I understand (clicking his fingers). Now no one outside these four walls will know.” Kyu-ni nodded.

“Did you know Kyuubi has a sister?” Suratobi looked a bit shocked.

“Has he really?” Kyu-ni nodded, smiling inwardly.

“Her name is Kyu-Ni Sho Kisune (She studied the Hokage’s face). We took on her last name, In honour of her…you see she fell in love with my ancient ancestor, this was several centuries back now though, in a time were humans and ‘demons’ worked side by side. You may think that all demons are evil and brainless, but clans like the Inu and Foxes are like us, intelligent, wise. Since we came from a union of demon and human our line, has had special blood-line limits…for example the rasengan, is a very basic demon skill, compare it to, the very simple Ninja skill first taught to a child. Arashi learned that at age ten.”

“Age ten.” Suratobi’s eyes widened.

“Yes due the, diluted blood in our veins, now. That is why Orochimaru, was after me and my son.” Kyu-ni rubbed her temples, trying to ease the strain of memories, while making it look human like.

“Are you ok?” Suratobi looked concerned at her expression.

“Yeah…just painful…remembering, that’s all.” Kyu-ni said a tear running down her cheek, for she not only could see the memories she could feel the emotions attached to them as well.

“As I was saying, he is after us because; if he placing us in a near death situation Kyu-ni will come if the need arise, due to being our guardian.” Suratobi nodded his head knowingly.

“So he wishes to control a demon, am I right?” Kyu-ni nodded.

“I know about Kyuubi, being inside Naruto, his sister told me.” Suratobi nodded concern on his face, then Kyu-ni created a realistic clone of her real self, and smiling inwardly madding it speak as it shimmered into the room.

“Yes…I know of my brother.” Suratobi turned quickly to face a woman of utter beauty, her silver hair, flowing behind her.

“Kyu-Ni Sama…it is an honour.” Kyu-ni bowed to her duplicate who smiled and took a seat, then she also sat back down, the duplicate clicked her fingers a cup and saucer in her left hand, and moving her her tail, so it appeared, it made it’s way to the tea pot sitting on the table, and was hesitant, she looked at the Hokage, and he nodded. It wrapped itself around it bringing it closer to her, and poured some into the little cup, and placed it back, then turned to the Hokage.

“Don’t feel so uptight, Hokage I won’t attack, as you know…not all demons are mindless, in fact we are quiet civilized really.” The Hokage sat down but Kyu-Ni’s double just sat there smiling “Remember…this conversation never took place (turning to her real self) my dear.”

“Yes Lady Kyu-ni.” Kyu-ni just smiled inwardly, the old fool Hokage, just took the story like it really had happened, this was turning to be more fun than she thought, she would have tell her brother her thoughts, when she next saw him.

“I would like to speak to my brother (her duplicate turned to the Hokage with a calm, but nice smile on her face) is that ok?” The third looked a little shocked but nodded.

“How will you do that?” Kyu-ni just smiled, putting the now empty cup and saucer down on the table with one tail, and started plating her hair.

“Oh…I just communicate via young Naruto’s mind, that’s all.” The third rubbed his chin, nodded firmly.

“Fine…I’ll call for Naruto then.” Kyu-ni clicked her fingers, her hair unravelled, back to its loose form, and looked at Sarani, flicking her wrist at her, which she bowed, before shimmering out, Suratobi stood up, Kyu-ni puffed a lock out of her eye, and looked at him with a smile.

“Don’t worry…I’ve sent her to fetch them, geez don’t get all up tight.” Suratobi just sat back down murmering Kyu-ni heard every word though, but asked to make sure she was correct.

“What is it?” Suratobi just glanced at her for a second before speaking up.

“Oh, just remembering what Orochimaru once told me, a quote from a text I believe: ‘So radiance will come when elements joined, facing heaven ward and the nine gates are opene, and bath the world in radiance anew’.” Kyu-ni’s face paled suddenly, and turned away fading from the room.

“Give them my thanks. Bye.” So the duplicate returned to Kyu-ni. Kyu-ni landed behind a tree she was shaking visably at the information she just received.

“No…it can’t be…he’s not insane enough to, summon HIM, to our plane… I have to tell my brother.” She hastily shimmered into the classroom in her wrinkled form, just behind Kyuubi, and every one jumped when she spoke.

“Hi son…(Squealing and bringing Naruto into a death hug) Oh…how’s my wittle nephew doing? You’ve grown…oh before I forget….Suratobi wants to see.” She grabbed Kyuubi’s and Naruto’s wrists, and shimmered away before anyone could say anything.

They appeared in front of Suratobi, who looked up.
“Oh your back…hello Naruto, Saiku. Naruto I have something to say.”

(“Naruto, the women standing beside me is my sister…don’t worry I’ll explain everything soon enough, and just go on with everything the old man.) Kyuubi said as he smiled at Naruto who smiled back.

“Do you mind if we go to Narauto’s house?” Suratobi handed them some keys.

“Shall I have a Ninja escort you?” Naruto looked puzzled and looked from the third to Kyuubi, then back again.

“No… I think I know the way. Mind if we poof there (the third nodded) good.” Then Kyu-Ni held on to Kyuubi’s shoulder and was gone in a poof of smoke.

When Kyu-Ni and Kyuubi appeared again it was in a large court yard, in front of a modest sized house, complete with two training grounds, two shrines, a crypt (I know why would they need it?)

“Your not telling me something, this isn’t normal…you shouldn’t get this scared over a little talk with an old coot.” Kyu-ni reverted to her original form after sensing that no one was around.

“Talk in side.” She hurried to the door hastily, opened and went inside, Kyuubi followed with a deep frown on his face, for whatever made his sister this…uptight wasn’t normal and whoever did that would pay with there lives.

“So what’s getting you so jumpy?” Kyu-Ni’s eyes widened.

“Have you heard of Orochimaru.” Kyuubo snorted.

“Yes…he’s even know to our kind.” Kyu-ni grabbed her brother’s robes tugging them in fear, eyes wide.

“He’s found about the nine gates.” Kyuubi’s eye’s widened, his colour paled slightly and placed his hands on his sister’s shoulders.

“Are you…sure you heard right?” Kyu-ni nodded face stern yet silent.

“Yes…but I thought the nine lords sealed HIM…up?” Kyuubi turned away from his sister, his back turned to her.

“They did…this is bad…if he’s released….” Kyu-ni looked at him worriedly putting a hand on his shoulder.

“I know…should I call a meeting?” Kyuubi frowned, he felt fear for the first time in over 10.000 years and he didn’t like it.

“No…not yet…this village must be fooled, into not keeping an eye on us…then we shall act.” Kyu-Ni nodded. Hearing a knock at the door they reverted back to there other forms.
