'Tis the Season

A/N: Here's some angst. I had to throw in the Akatsuki somehow to get an Ita/Naru pairing. (I love that pairing.)


Naruto hid away in his apartment for a couple of days, trying to forget the
last week. It was nearing midnight of the second day of his self-imposed
isolation. He figured maybe it would be alright to go out to the training
ground to practice; no one should be out at this time of night. He dressed,
strapped on his weapons' pouches, and headed out the door.

Someone was standing on the bridge, gazing at the water below. Naruto
approached cautiously; something didn't seem right. Then he noticed the
black cloak the other wore: Akatsuki! The blond began to mold chakra to
attack, but had to dodge the swinging of a blade. Suddenly, he realized he
had no chakra to mold. Damn! it was that bastard with the chakra-stealing
sword, Sammy-had-a-kitten. Or was it a cow? Never mind; it wasn't important
now. What was important, was that Naruto was in deep shit. He was facing an
S-ranked criminal without chakra or backup. Another pass of the sword and
Naruto felt himself go weak, barely able to stand. He leaned heavily against
the rail. Rough arms about his waist, the boy felt a hand yank his pants
down. Then, a searing, ripping pain as he was impaled. A hand tightened
around his neck as he took in a breath to scream, and a voice whispered for
him not to make a sound. A sudden breeze caressed his cheek and the hand at
his throat disappeared, as well as the body thrusting into him. With no
support, the blond slumped over the rail and into the water with a splash.


So good. Someone was fucking him with slow, smooth strokes, jerking him off
to the same rhythm. He must have cum several times already, because his back
felt wet. Why couldn't he remember? Naruto opened his eyes to see who his
lover was and stared in shock at the red eyes of Itachi's Sharingan.

Panicked, the kyuubi vessel tried to get away, but was held in place firmly,
Itachi never missing a stroke.

"Shh, Naruto-kun. We'll be done soon. Does it feel good? Would you like to
go faster? I can be rougher if you like." Suiting actions to words, the
raven-haired nin began to slam into the blond, hitting the boy's prostate
with every thrust. Naruto cried out with pleasure each time, loathing
himself all the while.

Electricity seemed to rip through his body as white heat exploded in his
groin. Crying out his release, he came. Clenched muscles caused Itachi to
climax also. As the blond returned to his senses, he noticed they were in
the river, or to be precise, on it. How was that possible? There was no
time to ponder as the nuke-nin knocked him unconcious.

Naruto wasn't in his apartment. He wasn't at Ichiraku's. He wasn't working
out at the training grounds. Where could the dobe possibly be? Sasuke had
come by to see if the other teen was up to a spar, but the baka was no where
to be found. The Uchiha decided it was time to speak to the Godaime.

"Enter!" Tsunade looked up from her paperwork to see a scowling Uchiha stomp
into the room. "What do youwant now, gaki? This had better be important."
"Naruto is gone. He's missing. He's nowhere in the village. We need to
find him now." He spoke in a monotone, not betraying the concern he felt for
his teammate.

Tsunade tensed at the boy's first words. By the end of his little speech,
she was on her feet, yelling for Shizune. When the younger woman entered,
the Hokage said, "Get Kakashi and Neji. Also, get Shino and Shikamaru. And
Iruka. Have them meet me here in half an hour. Damn! get Yamato and Sai,
too. Go, NOW!"

Before anyone could move, a knock sounded at the door. An ANBU wearing an
usagi mask walked in with an orange bundle in his arms. "Gomen, Hokage-sama.
This was found in some bushes, near the bridge leading to the training
grounds. A small amount of blood was found on the bridge. We think it's the
boy's, the one who wears these." He handed his bundle to the Hokage who held
them up to see that it was Naruto's ugly orange pants and weapons' pouches.
They were torn and dirty, the pouches empty. Her heart plummeted to her
stomach; her blond gaki was in serious trouble.

Kiba and Akamaru were with Shino when he was summoned to the Hokage's office.
They decided to tag along. Neji and Shikamaru were sitting in a shogi
parlor immersed in a game of shogi. Kakashi was sitting in a tree reading his
orange book; he said he'd get Iruka. Sai was sitting on top of Hokage
Mountain, sketch pad in hand. Yamato was at ANBU headquarters, talking with
Ibiki. All hurried when told it concerned Naruto. Kakashi was half-carrying
the academy sensei, who was hysterical knowing something bad had happened to
his 'son'.

The Hokage's eyes were red-rimmed as she turned her attention to the shinobi
standing quietly before her. Tsunade got right to the point. "I called you
here because it seems Naruto has gone missing. Sasuke has searched the
village and cannot find him. These were found by the bridge to the training
grounds." She held up the pants and pouches. "Even without weapons, he
should have been able to defend himself. This leads me to believe that he
was either knocked unconcious, or had his chakra drained. If the latter, we
are dealing with a very powerful enemy. Probably Akatsuki." She frowned as
she looked at those present. "Ibiki, Kiba, I didn't summon either of you;
why are you here?

Kiba answered first, "Gomen, Hokage-sama, but Naruto is my friend. If he's
in trouble, I want to help. If you don't include us, we'll just follow." He
glared defiantly at Tsunade, daring her to refuse him.

The Godaime Hokage glared back before sighing in defeat. "Alright, Kiba, you
can go. Ibiki, why are you here?"

"This is about the kyuubi vessel. If Akatsuki has him, he is a danger to all
of Konoha. We have to do everything in our power to get him back unharmed.
I'm still a jounin of this village; I'm capable of going on S-ranked
missions. Tell us what you want us to do and we can get started."

Tsunade took a deep breath; this was the part she was dreading. "Iruka,
you're here because I want you to know what's going on. However, you will
not be included in the rescue mission. I need you at the academy, teaching
your students how to be good shinobi. Also, to keep an eye on Konohamaru.
Should he hear that Naruto is missing, he may do something stupid, like try
to rescue him himself. That cannot be allowed. Please, I know you care
deeply for Naruto, but this is where I need you to be." She looked at the
chuunin in question, pleading silently with her eyes.

Iruka was shaking with anger and frustration, clinging desperately to
Kakashi's arm. He finally relaxed with a defeated air, and nodded in
aquiescence. He would do as she asked, for now. If more troops were needed,
he would go, even against orders.

Tsunade got down to business. "I want two teams. Kakashi and Yamato, you
will lead the squads. On Kakahi's team will be Neji, Sasuke, Sai, and Shino.
Yamato, you will be teamed with Ibiki, Shikamaru, Kiba and Akamaru. Both
teams have good strategists and tracking abilities. Get your gear ready and
meet at the bridge in 30 minutes. You may be gone for quite a while. Pack
carefully. You're dismissed. Oh, and one more thing: bring my gaki home."
