chapter 9
Had a wee incident with my laptop today as I was writing, it turned itself off and not telling me. I just say thank f… for auto save on word, I had written half of chapter 9 when it died on me would be a pain in the ass if I had lost it. So today it was a bit of a late update as I was trying to figure out why my laptop decided to die on me, which it still refuses to tell me, but it seems to be cooperating now.
Leila: yeah that’s the only good thing about working. I envy you for having two days off work, wish I had that instead of having to wake up at 5.15 am in order to be at work on time. Hope you have better weather than me on your days off so you can have fun outside, man I really want days off work too. Well at least my wee holiday is coming up in 7 days. Well I am sure you are a better cook than me, don’t have the patient to cook hehe =) oh well hope you enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 9
Momochi unlocked Naruto’s door and let them all in, Naruto was still grumpy but his anger seemed to have calmed down since this morning. The blond boy tossed himself on the bed and hugged his pillow, ‘so tired’ he though. Sasuke put his bag down in the kitchen/ living room; this was his first time visiting Naruto, not really a big surprise since they just met again a week ago. They had driven by campus so that Sasuke could pick up some of his things, “well we’ll leave you guys to settle in” Momochi said and smiled to Sasuke, “we’ll stop by tomorrow” Haku waved at him and closed the door. Silence came over the flat as soon as the door shut, the dark haired boy sighed as he starred at the wall in the hallway which were still covered in blood ‘need to wash that off’ he though.
Naruto was lying on his bed listening to everything that was going on in the kitchen; he was still annoyed at all of them. The one person he was trying to avoid this week was going to spend a whole week at his place; Naruto had only agreed to do this in order to get Momochi, Haku and Tsunade off his back. He sighed again burying his head deeper into his pillow, he felt pathetic, what was Sasuke thinking of him now that he had seen him in such a state and why did he even agree to spend a whole week with him? Still not fully understanding and lacking memories from the event last night he moaned into his pillow. “Naruto?” Sasuke came in to his bedroom “everything okey?” Naruto looked up from the pillow seeing Sasuke moving closer to his bed before he bent down levelling his head with Naruto’s. The blond boy blushed and hid his head in the pillow, “yeah I’m fine, just tired” he said through the pillow. The dark haired boy smiled and put his hand on the blonds head, Naruto flinched at the touch and Sasuke pulled his hand away immediately “Sorry I forgot.” Naruto looked the dark haired boy in the eyes seeing the disappointment in them, “ah” before he could say something Sasuke stood up “want something to eat since you didn’t eat you breakfast at the hospital” he asked. Feeling guilty Naruto nodded, he wished he could let Sasuke touch him but he didn’t want Sasuke to become dirty like him. “Scrambled eggs with tomato still your favourite” Naruto sat up in the bed and smiled from ear to ear “yeah”, watching as Sasuke left his room he felt a warm sensation through his body, Sasuke still remembered his favourite breakfast. “Want to help?” the dark haired boy shouted from the kitchen “sure” Naruto stood up from the bed and headed for the kitchen.
Sasuke and Naruto had lived together for 3 days now and they were slowly getting in to a routine, as the old days they sat by the table doing their assignments and helping each other. Sasuke had noticed that Naruto had become smarter if that was the right word for it, not that Naruto wasn’t smart from before it was just that he didn’t ask to many questions any more and Sasuke had been surprised to hear that Naruto had graduated among the top five. He was still curious what had happened to the blond boy sitting next to him however Sasuke decided to take Haku’s advice and make Naruto trust him enough to tell him. After they had finished their small amount of homework, Naruto was making tea and chatting while Sasuke was listening to the funny stories about Momochi, Haku and him. He realised now how soothing Naruto’s voice was, “Sasuke?” Naruto was only 5 inches away from his face which startled him a little but also making him want to kiss the blond boy “hn, sorry, what?” “We need to leave soon, Momochi will be here any minute” Naruto moved his face away from Sasuke’s much to his disappointment. “Yeah, almost forgot” he smiled at Naruto, who blushed a little giving the dark haired boy his tea cup.
The craving for the dark haired boy had increased with each day they spent together, Naruto always felt sad when he had to leave Sasuke for his other classes. Even when they were amongst their friends he was sad as he didn’t receive Sasuke’ full attention, ‘oh god’ he though I have become one of them incredible annoying girls that used to hang around Sasuke when they were younger carving for his attention. Naruto turned red as a beet just by the though of what kind of attention he wanted and in order to hid his face he layed it down on the table making Sasuke wonder what the blond boy was up to. “Naruto?” he said ready to ask what he was doing but got interrupted by the phone ringing, the blond boy shot up from the chair and ran to answer it. Sasuke had to laughed at Narutos weird behaviour all of a sudden, “Sasuke! Momochi is down stairs waiting for us” Naruto came back waving at Sasuke telling him to hurry up. The dark haired boy nodded and drank the last of hi tea before following the blond boy out of the flat.
Haku was an excellent cook and both he and Naruto had stuffed their faces full, Haku had even given them the leftovers to heat up. “Sasuke, Naruto?” a familiar female voice travelled through the air “Sakura?” Naruto looked at the pink haired who stood outside his door “what are you doing here?” They walked up the girl “nothing special just wanted to see if you were doing okey” sending a look to Naruto “since we haven’t had a conversation in a while” Naruto shuddered a little as he heard the word conversation, it was the word she used when she wanted to talk to him about his feelings and other stuff he would rather keep to himself, and he had to spend the whole conversation making up answers where she wouldn’t ask any additional questions. “Yeah not a problem, Sasuke spends a lot of time around my place” they both remembered that they hadn’t told anyone that Sasuke was living with Naruto for the week. Sakura got a relieved look on her face “that’s great Naruto” “want to come in for a while?” Naruto asked giving Sasuke the keys indicating him to open the door, “I’ll make some of my famous tea” he added smiling at her. “Sure, I’ll just tell Lee to come knock on the door when he comes to pick me up” she grabbed for her phone and followed the two in to the flat. Naruto was glad they had decided to wash the wall yesterday or else Sakura would have a fit, he was pretty sure of that. “So Sasuke I never really got around to ask where you moved to.” Sakura asked as she thanked Naruto when he gave her the cup. “Just about 20 minutes with the train from uni” he said sipping his tea; Naruto put some cookies on the table before sitting down next to Sasuke in the sofa. “Wow that’s a short distance, why do you live on campus?” she asked realising that might not have been a good questions to ask “Well you know cant hang around the parents house for ever.” He smiled at her. There was a time in her life where she would have given anything to receive a smile like that from him, but after he had left and going though Sasuke’s behaviour it was obvious to her that the blond boy was the centre of his attention, even now she could see how he stole glances at the unsuspected boy.
After an hour of chatting Lee phoned Sakura telling her that he was downstairs with the car, Sasuke asked if he didn’t want to come up to have a cup of tea as well but Sakura took a look at Naruto who had fallen asleep on the sofa and declined saying that they should eat dinner together instead which Sasuke was only too happy to say yes to. As Sasuke followed her to the door she stopped at the door turning around looking at Sasuke “thank you” she said, looking at the pink haired girl with a question mark in his face she only smiled “he has properly smiled more in the past 3 days, that he has this whole year.” Sasuke was surprised at what she had just told him, making him more curious of what had happened after he had left Toyako. She told him to say goodbye to Naruto from her when he woke up before giving him a hug and he told her to giver their regards to Lee before he closed the door walking back to the living room where Naruto was sleeping.
“Naruto” Sasuke said with a low voice leaning over the boy, it would be easier if he could shook the blond boy gently but he was afraid that he would scare him awake rather than slowly waking him. “Naruto, you are sleeping on the sofa” Sasuke said gently in Naruto’s ear, the blond boy groaned “just 5 more minutes Sasuke” the dark haired boy smiled, it is 12 pm. Wouldn’t it be better to move to the bed and sleep?” he asked still leaning over the blond boy “besides you are sleeping in my bed.” Naruto opened his eyes half way turning his head to look at Sasuke who was only inches away from his face. The blond boy stretched out his arms at the dark haired boy “carry me.” That sentence took Sasuke by surprise, this was the first time he had allowed Sasuke to touch him. “You sure?” he asked noticing a twitch of nervousness in his own voice, the blond boy looked at him with his blue eyes and nodded and with that Sasuke took his arms around the blond boy lifting him up from the sofa. Naruto snuggled against Sasuke’s chest feeling his heat reaching his own body, it felt so nice. Realizing himself that he had allowed Sasuke to touch him and for the first time in 6 years he hadn’t twitched by the touch, he wondered if it was really okey for him to let the dark haired boy touch his dirty body. As Sasuke laid Naruto on the bed he felt the blond arms around his waist holding on for dear life, “Naruto?” he tried looking at Naruto but Naruto had buried his head in his chest “please” the blond pleaded “just a little longer” telling him not to let go. “sure” Sasuke got a gently look on his face as he smiled, laying down next to the blond boy he put his arms around him squeezing lightly to show Naruto that he had a grip around him. Sasuke was happy now, feeling their bodies so close that they were sharing heat, “sleep well Naruto.” The blond boy snuggled deeper in to his chest before they both fell asleep to the ticking alarm clock on the night stand.
Though I wasn’t going to be able to finish this chapter today after the wee incident with the laptop. Hope you enjoyed
